  1. Hey guys, I wanted to talk with yall about something very important.. HK-51's horrible state. I remember the time when HK-51 was released. This powerhouse was the most viable Damage-Companion in my opinion. When you had him as your active companion, it felt like you legit had the super lethal assasin droid by your side that terminates everyone standing in your way. Back in the day he had 10 abilities: 1.) Vanish Strike: HK-51 jumps to the target, stabbing it with his vibroknife. 2.) Evasion Protocols: HK-51 drops a smoke grenade, and jumps back toward you. The target is stunned for 3 seconds. 3.) Blindside: HK-51 takes advantage of a distracted enemy to shoot it, dealing high damage. 4.) Rail Blast: HK-51 shoots a target for moderate damage. 5.) Calibrated Shot: HK-51 takes aim at a target, dealing moderate damage. 6.) Terminate: HK-51 fires a series of micro-missles at the target, dealing high damage over the duration. 7.) Hunter Killer: HK-51 deals high damage to a target under 30% health. 8.) Stealth Suit: HK-51 turns invisible, making him harder to hit. 9.) Emergency Protocols: HK-51 recovers 1% of max health every second for 15 seconds. 10.) Assassinate: HK-51 takes careful aim at a weak, standard, or strong target, and deals mortal damage, one-shotting the target. Only usable out of combat, plus requires and consumes 5 stacks of "Target Eliminated". Those 10 abilities were so unique and gave Hk-51 the most consistant damage output of all companions. Every other companion felt like not being able to keep up with him at all. And thats why I loved him. Whenever I wanted a Damage-Companion my choice was HK-51, but now, after they have changed all companions to basically being the same stupid companion only with different "skins", HK feels like the weakest. His whole kit got cut in half, ruining his gameplay. From his original 10 abilities, he has 4 left in his damage-skill-tree. The 5th one is just a stun that never was part of his kit. So long story short, he got way weaker and gets outdamaged by literally every other companion. Which shouldnt be a thing at all - he should be on the top of damage output and not somewhere around the bottom. Like he used to feel back then. His healing-skills are just the copy paste garbage from the other companions and doesnt feel unique at all. Tho his healing feels weaker overall. His tank-tree is the biggest joke ever (everyone owning HK-51 knows). Because hes NOT TANKING AT ALL! He is by far the weakest tank companion in the game! They just threw his dash abilities and his weak self heal in there and thats it. He does way, and I mean wayyy less tanking than every other companion. Oh, and they got rid of his invis and assassination ability - pooping on him even more. So basically, he got ruined and pooped on... Now I would like to hear your opinions on HKs current state and if you would want bioware to make him the old HK (giving him his 10 abilities back in one tree, his only tree - damage.) Because lets be honest here, the old HK-51 was a masterpiece made by bioware and should be allowed to have a comeback.
