  1. And the game locked during a story conversation on Makeb - lol - when it doubt End Task and try again!
  2. Thanks for letting us know, I finally get time out from the craziness that is RL (real life) and get a server error. Great to know it is not operator error!
  3. So I finally upgraded my monitor and am running the game on 3840x2160 resolution and everything looks great!! Through the Interface Editor I have increased the Quickbars and other items on the screen so they are easy to see. However, I cannot increase the size of the mouse pointer and I cannot find anything online that points to there being a way to do so. Running the game with such a small spec of a pointer is extremely annoying and difficult. The only way I have found to increase the size of the pointer is to decrease the resolution (which takes away from the performance of the game). Please add functionality to increase the size of the mouse pointer ASAP!
  4. I have 8 characters (one for each class) and I never got the option to kill Koth (I could only punch him)
  5. /signed It would be fitting if a hologram of a princess of the house of Skywalker could be posted somewhere in the game.
  6. Finally, I found the seed was at -216,-257 on Taris (pub side).
  7. So what would be the recommended offhand item for Kira at Level 55?
  8. I have gone to the Combat Training section on the Republic fleet and found a Rodian (Leuro-Khian) that will allow me to reset my Skill Tree: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Screenshot_2014-06-24_20_33_24_171205.jpg http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Screenshot_2014-06-24_20_33_24_171205.jpg Thanks again!
  9. Many thanks for all the information and the direct link to the Dulfy site. I have tried reading the information over and my brain died reading halfway through, I shall give it another try when I have more energy and may take detailed notes on what one has to do. This is leaps and bounds from what I have been operating from, so again, thank you for this and thanks to everyone for their feedback!! Also, I did finally find the source folder where screenshots were being stored, although nothing would appear when I tried to paste into Paint, the screenshots are stored at Documents\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Screenshots on a person's local hard drive. BTW, question on this part, When you say that I should purchase Armorings, are you referring to the character's clothing (chest piece, leggings, etc.) or are you referring to the armor/mod/enhancement slots in a particular item? Thanks again!
  10. Many thanks to everyone for their awesome feedback!! My apologies for not getting the nomenclature correct as far as aspects of the game go, yes I was referring to the skill tree assignment of points as one progresses through the game. Although I tried hitting the Print Screen key on the keyboard and then Alt + Print Screen keys, I was unable to take screenshots from the game to paste into Paint. However, I have gone back and taken pictures with a digital camera and shall attempt to post them below: Skill Tree: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Skill_Tree.jpg Melee and Defense: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Stats_01.jpg Force and Defense: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Stats_02.jpg Force and PvP: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Stats_03.jpg I hope this will give a little more information as to my character's (Elkalrah) present settings. I was not aware that I can visit the trainer on the Republic Fleet to re-assign my skill tree points, thanks much for that!! I will be sure to follow the links everyone provided to reconfigure my character's skill tree points so it will be the most effective. Also, to help clarify what I was talking about with planetary commendations (planetary comms?), here is a screenshot of my currency: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s8/dh1031/SWTOR/Currency.jpg Many thanks again, I will certainly make sure to read up on all the links provided. I still need to finish my character's class missions but this information will certainly help me to do so more efficiently. I am still by strength rating versus power rating versus alacrity and so forth, I guess that means look for the items that have the highest number for the assets you all have said a DPS will need.
  11. Greetings, I have made my way from the beginning to level 55 as a Jedi Guardian; when having to go on Flashpoint Missions, Heroics, and etc. I have selected the role of a DPS. Now, I have never really found a "Gearing Guide for Dummies" if you will, so I selected force points as I leveled up along the way to now as what looked to be the most beneficial to help my character win fights. I have not played MMOs before, so I was unaware of what Force points I would need to select for the class, etc. As I am unable to change my skilltree allocation at this point, I am not left scratching my head when it comes to "gearing". As I understand it, I have to complete weekly missions, flashpoints, operations, etc. to obtain commendations in order to buy gear for a Level 55 gear. At this point, I routinely wound up getting kicked from groups in missions I need to complete to buy gear as my character has gear that is "messed up". I have currently amassed the maximum planetary commendations of 100 but I am not sure what to get. I recently bought the Humble Hero Armor Set from the Cartel Market, hoping to then be able to "gear" it to what is needed for a Level 55 character, but again I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Also, I am not clear on the concept/process of "augmenting". Any direction/advice/resource that one could provide would be appreciated, I had not mentioned but I am a subscriber to the game if that makes a difference at this point. I enjoyed playing the Jedi Knight series of games from back in the day and enjoyed the Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic games, so I had hoped this game would be an extension of that (that is, player versus environment) but these elements of "gearing" and "augments" along with HERIOC missions, Flashpoints, and etc. make this game more complicated/less enjoying. If I am wasting my time/money with this game, I would appreciate feedback to that effect as well. Many thanks!
