  1. You are probably right, I've never soloed a KP by myself back then, though a few guildies claimed that they did and I've seen people discussing it on the fleet. Still, most mechanics were streamlined since then, and even the ones which still require coordination probably wouldn't matter at lvl 80. Like Calphayus or Raptus - their "enrage" attacks for failing puzzles would likely miss anyways. Yeah, thinking more thorougly about it - Dread Council would probably be unbeatable due to dps timer so I guess it would still require some tinkering on the devs side and that would be a waste of time. Still, while ops might be too much work, all flashpoints certainly can be made soloable that way.
  2. Basically, solo mode for operations and challenging flashpoints. Before you go mad at me for this ancient and deadbeat topic, please take a moment to actually consider this fast, painless and (I believe) easy-to-implement way to appease "solo-only folks". I guess we can all agree that nowadays any "normal-mode" group content has been reduced to mindless, unbelieavably easy and braindead runs. Dread Fortress is literally a new Hammer Station, getting ran through with 7D and 1H for easy frags and almost any veteran flashpoint can be completed solo. I personally was able to do HS, Mando Raiders, Red Reaper (bread and butter for solo grind), Foundry, Boarding Party, Candeminu and Ilum fps not only solo but while being level bolstered to boot. Literally any Heroic 4 planet mission is probably harder than your average vet fp run or even KP/DP SM run. This state of things, in my opinion, makes argument "This is a group content and is supposed to be challenging" invalid and obsolete. The question is no longer whether "Can I complete DF/DP?", but rather "Do I really want to make a quick 20-minute farm run today?". Gatekeeping solo players from enjoying "group" content is really meaningless today, the way I see it. Of course, reworking every fp or, god forbid, operation to bring in god droid and calibrate npcs health/damage would be a nightmarish amount of work for devs, but I ain't proposing that. Instead, I wonder if it is possible to just bring back ops and fp the way they were back before the release of KOTFE. Back after the release of Shadow of Revan, there was a period of time when level cap was 60 with oldest operations being of level 50, which made them trivial to complete. Mobs missed half the time and operations could be completed with practically any number of players (looking back, it was just as easy as today). Indeed it was possible to solo KP if you had a friend to form an ops group with and was willing to sit through all the grind. Why not create a similar "Legacy" , non level-synced version of every operation (DF/DP would be a lvl55 instance for example, which could be completed by lvl 80 character without that much trouble) and fp so that people could complete them at their pleasure, explore Darvannis or Oricon in peace (some operations' map landscape is ridiciously underappreciated if you ask me), watch cutscenes and roleplay however they like? It shouldn't be that devwork intensive, right? No rewards of course, just a time capsule for a pure historical and roleplaying purposes. What do you think folks? Would such addition make you happy or mad? Would you enjoy a stroll through Temple of Sacrifice just for the feeling of it?
  3. So is it just me or Aurora Cannon difficulty is utterly insane for a daily Heroic mission? I believe it was stated with the inclusion of schutta level scaling that heroics will be soloable for everyoe and a Aurora Cannon saw a number of changes, which indeed allowed players to complete it solo (previously min 3 guys were needed, preferably 4). I haven't played for a couple of years but back during the KOTFE and KOTET times I indeed ran Section X without many problems. Today, however, I played for the first time since 2018 and was completely butchered at Aurora Cannon. It took me nearly an hour and a Huttbutt-huge pile of credits to complete it legitimately with the bonus mission included. Doesn't seem right to me. Fellow players in chat advised to just run through it which really shouldn't be the case with daily heroic IMO. Overall it is incredibly annoying and frustrating to struggle with the content which have been soloable (combat wise) for many years, even before the Heroics changes with the release of KOTFE. Aurora Cannon is a daily heroic mission in Section X in case anyone wonders.
  4. Every flashpoint should have a SM mode, many of them have quite an enjoyable story/atmosphere to them. Is it really that hard to introduce their old low-level version and slap companion droid on top? Better yet, remove level scaling alltogether, this game bacame a chore since KOTFE.
  5. I got one of my charachters restord a year later after deletion. Be aware though taht inventory it is not always possible to restore inventory to 100% since inventory logs got deleted a lot sooner that a character itself.
  6. I think we ought to get some official response from devs. This crap has been around for almost a month. I really want to play SWTOR, but this ruins the whole atmosphere.
  7. It has. I learned about aggro, interruptions and other mmo-specific stuff the hard way. It was my first mmo ever and I received a lot of experience in this field which helped me later when I moved to other titles. Those "exapmles" you mention prove nothing, except for the fact that some people are really, unbelievable stupid. And this game was always easy for veterans so stop boasting about your "epic" deeds, they are irrelevant to this topic.
  8. Up. I wanted to start another DvL char and these annoying bug really ruins game experience for me.
  9. And that's why back in 2.0 and 3.0 you actually knew how to use taunt, interrupt, combinations of different abilities at the end of your class story. A few months ago I've seen sith jugg on Oricon who cried for help with the second beast boss (the one in the dread cave, with dread roots bonus). When I said to him that he simply have to interrupt his channeling attacks, he said that it is immune to interruptions. As it turned out later, guy threw away interrupt ability completely from the ability window because of it's "uselesness" and thought that his force choke is only way to interrupt mobs. Although I am not sure, It might have been him assembling a DF run a few days after that on the fleet.
  10. So, friend of mine joined swtor after I recommended it, a few years ago. He used my link and so on. We've been playing on regular basis, with gaps of 3-5 months, but ultimately coming back for another run, using 60-days subscription code. I've decided to check My account page today and found out that I receive 0 CC for invited friend. Reason is that his "Subscription has been inactive for too long". Considering that we are playing right now with subscriptions activated, I am a bit lost. Any clarifications?
  11. Sooo... Since launch there were literally queues of those who wanted to slay WBs on different planets - Trapjaw or NS WB were ussually dead in every instance, after SoR Section X was overpopulated with people who were killing Dreadtooth in solo or in pair, and now, suddenly, it becomes a problem? I bet 90% of those who are yellling today about soloing WB issue killed their share back in the days as well. Or didn't, because someone always stole one from them and now they angry).
  12. I don't want solo operations - I want to experience a story without group "responsibilities". Right now I run ops daily (sm mostly) without any trouble - yet it would be just awesome to kill Soa alone or slain the Dread Council. I don't ask for ANY rewards. Just introduce some sort of a repeatable solo ops where all enemies are level 20-30, can't hit a damn thing, die more or less quickly. No loot, no decos, no money. Symbolic 7xp if you like. And I would be interested in such an activity. Call me crazy, but for me, it would be time well-spent.
  13. Actually, in the last dialogue on starship 51 swears a complete loyalty to you and promises to serve and protect you and your family(and any future generations) until his complete destruction. He even overrides his core so that no new Master could be appointed except for you.
