  1. Same here, he is not available after the flashpoint. It says I have sent him a message offering him a place by my side, but he is not available.
  2. Congratulations and I wish you a long and happy life together. I do have one question though. Does this mean our Lana Beniko companions will be unavailable for a while, or is this someone else you have been romancing?
  3. I have had problems too. Three or four times in the past few days I have tried to log in and got to the loading screen and it wouldn't go further. A couple of times i just left it there to see if it would eventually log in, but twenty minutes later it was still there. I have had the dreaded red X on the server status in game some as well. I don't use comcast so I don't think it is related to the service provider.
  4. I guess the bright side is that I am getting more done around the house since I am spending less time in game in a week than I was in a day before they changed conquest. Since conquest is no longer obtainable for our guild, I can just do it on one toon for the personal rewards and only play when i'm in the mood.

Am I the only one that laughed out loud when they were talking about the new augments and making some of the components available through conquest on the medium and large conquest planets to make an incentive for larger guilds to do them? They then said that small guilds could put in a little more effort and move up to a medium yield planet to get them. They obviously do not understand that even a small yield planet is currently unobtainable for most small guilds with all the restrictions. Before we could have a chance with crafting, now if we can only get one or two characters through conquest and there are only 3 or 4 people interested in actively participating, we can never get there much less move up to a medium planet.
  6. I totally agree. It is way too much work to get enough materials to craft 50 of anything for a tiny amount of conquest points, but it is amplified if I have to have enough materials to make crafting components then use multiples of 5 different components to make something like Holocron of Strategy all for the big reward of 2.4 conquest points.
  7. Also a question. Craft 50 items, does that mean we can craft anything we want or will there be a certain item each conquest that we have to craft 50 of? If we are only getting 2.4 conquest points per item it would be nice to not have to have to use lots of materials to craft them.
  8. Totally agree and I might add that if an objective is legacy bound, then each character in the legacy should get the rewards.
  9. Well said. If we had the old system with the added guild goal for those who don't make top 10 that would be great. I like the small, medium and large yields but it would be nice if we could pick any planet and just have the reward progress as we pass each target. By this I mean if you reach the small yield goal on the planet of choice that is the reward you get, but once you pass the medium yield goal the reward changes that reward. That way everyone would not be on the same planet because each planet could provide small, medium, and large yield rewards. Most people would be much happier with the old system with a few tweaks like these.
  10. Coming from a small guild, this has not made getting the flagship plans easier. At least for ours it has made it harder. It was possible during crafting weeks to make the top 10 even though it took a ton of work and materials. Now, even with the low guild mark, it is impossible to reach because our alts are so limited. If they had left conquest the way it was and simply added a guild target number it would have been great.
  11. I second this. I spent less time here last week than I normally spent in a day before conquest was changed. I enjoyed the competition during crafting weeks and spent a lot of time gearing up for them so we could compete. I'm now like that droid that Luke Skywalker's Uncle almost bought on Tatooine - i have a broken motivator.
  12. This is horrific. Total Galactic War used to be a crafting week I looked forward too. Now I can craft an invasion force once per day PER LEGACY! I guess my alts can go Hang out on Nar Shaddah and gamble or something. They are basically useless for conquest now since most stuff is limited by legacy. Also, with only 3 or 4 people in the guild really working conquest, if each only hits it on one character we will never hit the guild goal.
  13. I wish flairs had remained for achievements rather than a cartel market item. It was nice when it started with the one to show legendary status for completing all classes. I liked the idea of showing accomplishments rather than purchasing one because they looked cool.
  14. I hit conquest on one character and the guild leader did the same, but both of us did it because of the bug that gave us half our conquest points. We generally only did well before 5.8 during crafting weeks since we are a small guild. It took a ton of work to hit top 10 those weeks but it was doable. I doubt we bother with it as a guild though we can hit personal doing our normal activities during the week. Even with the lowered guild goals coming with tomorrows patch, it is very difficult in non-crafting weeks and near impossible in crafting weeks due to the added materials needed to craft.
  15. My first impression is that I am not a fan, but I guess that could change. Really the only reason to do conquest was for the competition to be in the top 10. The rewards have never been worth the effort. Being part of a small guild the only conquests we had a chance in were the crafting ones and we generally were able to make the top 10 most of the time in those conquests. Conquests could have been addressed by having a minimum number of conquest points to get guild rewards so that it would be possible for smaller guilds to get the crafting parts for the guild ships and the normal guild rewards with additional rewards for top 10 finishes. The amount of work it takes for a small guild to make top 10 is enormous and if the rewards were 10x I would still have more invested in mats and time than I received in return. It was fun competition which is why we did it, but in non crafting weeks we didn't stand a chance. I like having a minimum number of conquest points to get rewards, but unless we can get number 1 there is no need to go further. I am really not motivated to bother with it at this point. The rewards are poor and the competition is removed unless there is a chance to be number 1.
