  1. We're looking for active, reliable members willing to queue up for ops (SM OR HM) and/or PvP. If you're someone who's willing to learn from their mistakes, and have fun (wiping?) with a chill-axe group of people, look no further! http://pillars.enjin.com
  2. If your'e still looking, might I suggest you check out Pillars of Ashla (Pub)/Ashes of Ashla (Imp) (http://pillars.enjin.com); both sides are really into gearing (SM)/progression (HM) ops, and feature tons of experienced players who are more than happy to help out if you're not sure about raidings, class rotations, or anything about this wonderful game we call home! I, personally, have been a member for 2 years, and would never look back! We always have TONS of new people, and our gearing operations (twice/week) are specifically geared to new players who are either unconfident in their class/rotation, or totally intimidated by operations/HM FP's (we also have PvP nights, if you're into that!). Regardlesss, we would welcome you and any of your friends, whether you're interested in progression content or "just" leveling! Even if you decide we don't mesh with your values, we appreciate your interest, and wish you the utmost gaming success in SWTOR!

  5. Been with this guild going on 2-2.5 years now, and I can honestly say that they're the best people I've ever had the pleasure to run with (even taken into consideration the many large/small guilds I've run with in the past in my SWTOR time). If you're looking to get into ops, flashpoints, or pvp, or are simply a new player trying to understand the multitude of options available to you, you will not regret coming here. There are highly knowledgeable veteran SWTOR gamers here who won't yell or scream if you make a newb mistake (speaking from experience!). Even if you don't know the complete in's and out's of your class or rotation, Pillars of Ashla/Ashes of Ashla (Pub/Imp) has a mentoring program that will match you with a knowledgeable member who can help you every step of the way (something I've certainly taken advantage of!) tl;dr: This is an amazingly supportive guild, with many members/veteran members/council members who will help and support you even if you're "just" a solo player.
  6. I've been a member of Pillars of Ashla for a while now, and [insert shameless self promotion here]. In all seriousness, it's the best group I've had the good fortune to be a member with/in (did that sentence even make sense? ). They do a fair amount of raiding, both SM and progression stuff, and there are often people running flashpoints; due to a tightly packed schedule, I haven't raided with them much lately, but my opportunities running with them has been pretty awesome - no undue stress or drama, no set teams so everyone has an opportunity to go if they want, and a lot of skilled people who'll bend over backwards to help you out. On the other end of the spectrum, there are also plenty of people who do the solo thing, and who are just there for the social experience of being in a guild Their guild recruitment thread is here if you're interested in checking them out. Peace, and best of luck in finding a good fitting guild.
  7. During my time playing SW:TOR, I've been in a few guilds (including one that I was the lead of) that made bold claims for member respect, collaboration, and/or activity, and just didn't deliver. Having been around the block as it were, I can definitely say that this guild is definitely an outstanding group of people who'll do anything to help each other out, whether it's crafting, raiding, or getting help and advice on optimizing your toon(s). Bottom line: You couldn't find a better, more friendly, and cooperative guild on this server (also, they have pie).
  8. Effective Monday, June 23, 2014: this guild has been disbanded.
  9. If you're looking for a new drama-free home for your toons (or are dissatisfied with your current one), consider joining Republic Roughnecks We've got about five events per week going on, ranging from grouping together to run dailies, to casual flashpoint runs, and more fun content, like dataron hunts and World Boss Assaults. Check out our events to see what we have to offer Also if you're interested in running ops, but aren't sure where to start or don't want to PUG them, we're also in the process of forming an ops group, and are especially looking for tanks and healers Use our site application to apply to join, contact us with additional questions, or get in touch with an officer in-game (Guild leader: Nikaeta; Recruitment lead: Jhelana or Gildaes; or for general inquiries, Cavhe/Casro and Jurseick)
  10. Still looking for a close-knit, respectful, no-drama home for your toons? JoinRepublic Roughnecks today! Apply on site (republicroughnecks.enjin.com/recruitment) or PST to Nikaeta/Aeliyea or Jhelana/Gildaes in-game. We're also looking to put together an 8-man ops group (not progression, yet) by beginning of July; casual, no pressure environment, particularly oriented towards people who haven't had a lot of experience in ops before. If interested, contact us on site, fill out an application (http://republicroughnecks.enjin.com/recruitment), or get in touch with an officer in-game
  11. Guild Name: Republic Roughnecks Guild Alliance: Republic Guild Website: http://republicroughnecks.enjin.com Guild Leader & Officers: Guildmaster: Nikaeta; Recruiting/PR officer: Jhelana (alt's: Gildaes, Li'ness); Crafting Coordinator: Jurseick (The most efficient ways of contacting the guild leadership is: through the contact from on our website (http://republicroughnecks.enjin.com/contact); via our custom channel (/cjoin rr), or using the /who (search: "Roughnecks", change the column on the far right to guild) Guild Style (PvE, PvP, RP): Primarily PvE, and beginning to get into raiding as guild-sponsored effort, but not quite at that point yet. Active Time: Varies, depending on the day; being small and casual, activity periods vary, but typically evenings (after 5 pm EST) are the most active. Additional Comments: A relatively young guild (founded in 2013), Republic Roughnecks was founded as a no-drama atmosphere for friends to come together and play the game, in whatever style best suits them. While we are primarily PvE-focused, there's also a handful of members who are into PvP. Solo players are welcomed, but team play is also encouraged to enhance our "fun and fellowship" as a community style. See our recruitment thread here
  12. As the above poster mentioned, the Ideal Guild Quiz may be a good option for you to find a well-fitting guild. I can also recommend that you consider Republic Roughnecks (guild site here; our recruitment thread here ) We're a fairly small, but growing drama-free & family friendly guild that primarily focuses on casual PvE content, although we tend to spend a fair amount of time helping each other out (crafting, Heroics, class optimisation, flashpoints, etc). While we try to be fairly moderate in chat language, occasionally the odd expletive happens, but that's not a common occurrence, in any sense of the word. The only clincher may be that we're not too into raiding yet (on account of not having many 50/55 members), but we do have a number of other events scheduled each week for people of all levels (World Boss runs, casual flashpoints, HM flashpoints, running 50/55 dailies). Feel free to check us out or get in touch with me in game (main toon name is the same as my forum name); regardless, I wish you the utmost fortune in finding a good-fitting guild. Peace.
  13. I'm not going to bother getting into an argument about what's worth while or what's not, or whether FPs, WZ's, or WB's are the most efficient (mostly, because I don't really care). It may well be your opinion that WB's are not worth it, but it most certainly is not everyone's.
  14. I looked in the first 5 pages for a similar topic to this, but didn't see one, so here goes: PLEASE Institute anti-solo'ing measures for the WB'S, especially the lower level one's (40 and below). Even something simple like replicating SD-0's Proximity Laser ability on other WB's for those who insist on solo'ing them. Some people enjoy solo'ing the WB's: if that's your cup of tea, good for you. But it is annoying as hell when you've spent time putting together a group (or, worse, a guild event) to fight a WB as a team (you know, like WB's were intended), only to have some high-level schmuck come charging in before all group members have arrived or before all are ready, and solo'ing it. It's especially irritating since many (all?) of these types are apparently anti-group, and refuse to wait or join up with the rest of the people who are looking for the same achievement. Even better would be to move the WB's away from an open area to an instanced area; even if the 2 hour cooldown was kept, it would give people who haven't had the chance to get that particular achievement or weekly to get it, even if there were others who wanted to solo it.
  15. Weekly events for characters of all levels: World Boss/Priority Target hunts, SM/HM Flashpoint Runs, Section X/Illum/Black Hole dailies. Come check us out for a good time!
