  1. Those Lightning changes are pretty brutal, the only change it needs is the cast time of Halted Offensive, which obviously hard casting was not meant to be the better way so making so we don't do that is already a 1k or so nerf, 2-3k with all the other changes. Unless your intent is to make Lightning a low dps spec like in the past all the other changes apart from the hard cast feel over the top.
  2. I was actually expecting a buff for sin tanks, idk how they are in pvp but in pve they are struggling. Most people avoid sin tanks because the other 2 tank specs are flat out superior as tanks. Not that the bit of DR from severing slash helped in pve but something else to make them compete with the other tanks would be great, it's sad seeing how much damage sins tank in comparison. If the proposed changes are a pvp thing atleast add something else as compensation, even a few extra DR. I dont think sin tanks should only be really viable if they can use shroud against something.
  3. Increadibly dissappointing. Do you guys realize how endgame is going atm? How regid the class selection is because most classes are just not good enough. The IO changes don't sound like it will make them competitive, most poeple will just play sorc now that on top of only having 2 viable ranged specs in the game( Viru and lightning), Viru getting a 1-2k nerf sure consolidates Lightning as the only ranged spec worth playing, Mara lossing AOE DR is a massive nerf, 20 seconds of AOE DR during raid buff??? just remove it all together, there is no point in having it then. Carnage changes sound just like the IO ones, like they may do a small change, if not nerf if the increased cost thing is not a typo. And zero healer/tank changes which im hoping just haven't been posted yet. This is the patch 9/10 NiM raider has been waiting for and it does not address any of the problems.
  4. Like the title says, Conduction and the Pub side equivalent do not work like they did in the past which had no CD on the proc but now for some reason it can only proc every 15 secs. I assume because there is a second part of the passive which has a 15 sec CD which is not meant to apply to Conduction. Unless this is an intentional change and not mentioned anywhere, I would like to see this fix. Figured it was a known bug since it's very obvious but here we are.
  5. So new 4 piece of Gathering Storm, it does exactly what Surging speed does, but the set bonus is broken, it doesnt do anything, doesnt lower any CD, took off Surging speed to test if they stacks but turns out set bonus part doesnt work at all.

So tested Volt Rush, i may be missing something but it hits for basically nothing unless you use it 3 times in a row, at that point you are better off using Lightning Bolt, is there a passive that will let you gain Energize stacks from something other than Volt Rush when 6.0 comes out? Other wise i dont see any reason to use Volt Rush other than with the AoE tactical for the couple fights i could do with more AoE.

As for Sorc, Lightning the best way to fix its DPS is make Lightning Bolt hit closer to Tracer Missile and Snipe, buffing Lightning Flash would be a good burst but not sure it it might be too much with the previous buff, making Forkeds have a higher change to proc would make it a lot less RNG dependent class, Madness, Force Lightning need to be buffed quite a bit, make the ticks hit for 5k~ but make it so it only hits for that when fully buffed(dots on target,ect), as for their survivability some slight changes would be enough, one single change that would fix it all would be reverting Corrupted Barrier's nerf but obviously would make Sorc healers even more broken so passive abilities on both DPS trees would be preferable, maybe give Madness some DR and revert the heal from dots back to 25% and Lightning there could be some tweaking on Fulgurous Fortification, make it make it last longer maybe make it 4% from 3% but that could be too much, cant think of any other buff on this category.
  8. You might want to fix the APM it says on Lightning, ~55 APM with 248, 50.8 is very incorrect

Sadly Lightning is one of the only specs( that im familiar with) that has no Armor penetration buffs/passives nor a dmg increased during x secs window or anything, its the reason why some ppl say it has the easiest rotation, which is sorta true, all i can say to help is you have to kite like you have 5% hp ALL the time, you have to kite ranged too, everything that hits you will take 5-15% of hp so you basically you have to outplay them, and even then, even if you can out play then there is still little chance that you can 1v1 anything other than other sorcs, so its a glass cannon(water pistol).

  12. Not sure if any of you realize that Force Barrier is not a full reset anymore, it heals for 40%+hots while bubbled and it can heal up to ~50% if you use Static Barrier before Force Barrier, so PW is really our only way to do much, of course as dps.

  14. Question, the tournament is post 5.2 so will there be a gear rating limit since i guess not everyone will have gear over 242?
  15. Lightning nor Madness are good, not even close to good, but Lightning is better than Madness, and i cant talk for everyone here but i do know how to play this class, is my main class been playing it for over 2 years.

Lightning is acctually better than Madness right now, as Madness i cant 1v1 anything other than other sorcs, Lightning i can 1v1 most things, even Mercs sometimes, as for DPS both specs can do the same dps, Madness doesnt have as much heals as you say, heals from dots at the same as they were at lvl 60, Death Field heals around 1-2k, worthless at 122k hp, and you cant really LOS as half decent merc, and even if you manage to LOS, you can only heal like 50%, also you have to blow most of your DCDs on enet cuz you can mezz them cuz you will have dots on them, only in a map like Rishi or somewhere with ALOT of stuff to LOS you could have some chance.
  17. You do realize you are using the TK bug on that fight so.......yeah, bug extra dps on single target is bit over 600 and alot more with multiple targets, your dps would been around 9k on that right, maybe 10k.

Both specs are very very bad, im top on parsely for 1.5 and 3rd on 2.5, but that doesnt matter on ops cuz even when im having a perfect fight, our mara on our prog can do almost 1k more, and im a better player than him but his spec is way better than mine, i just rerolled to Operative the other day
  19. On 2.5m dummy my highest is just 8.66k with 49% crit, i still think its possible on full 242 but you need a +52% crit to achieve that, which is still crap, so yeah 8.6k-8.7k average on 242 is possible not that it matters cuz most other specs can do better with less effort.
  20. Here is my top non bug parse: http://parsely.io/parser/view/256986 Not full 242 yet still 4 240 mods, 3 240 enhancements and 4 armorings 240 or less to go, average parse is 8.5-8.7k with okish RNG(48%~ crit) breaking 9k at full 242 is totally possible.
  21. With Madness you gotta play very defensively, try not to be targeted, which is not easy but like let other ppl charge first,ect. About Death FIeld, dont stress it too much, one why to use it put your dots on someone, then switch to a person in the middle of everyone to spread it to as many ppl as you can or just place it manually. Rotation pretty much that, creeping terror>affliction>polarity shift>recklessness>death field or force leach>force leach or death field> force lightning> lightning strike>force lightning> lightning strike>ect. For gear I've been just running like 1300 alacrity 1800 crit, tho idk if that is the best build but it works for me, top dps on every match, as long as i did'nt join late.
  22. So the new commando boost are just a worse version of the one you can get from the cartel market... hmm
