  1. Care to spoil me so that I can either make the mental gymnastics necessary or change my plan and take another character through instead?

    In Chapter 9 your outlander

becomes the leader of the rebel alliance, whether they want to or not. They have to give speeches, recruit allies, etc. - what you'd expect in a leadership role.

Didn't much fit my hunter either, or my smuggler, or my agent...

  2. I romanced Solas on my Lavellan. I know pain. At least Cullen had a happy ending.

You are not alone. That DLC was simultaneously the most heart-warming and the most heart-wrenching one I've ever played. *sigh* But Patrick Weekes isn't writing Theron, so we should be relatively safe... I hope...

  3. Ooh, I didn't realize there was one mandatory one. For the most part, I actually didn't take the flirt options but the sweet, positive response options. I almost missed out!

I took every flirt option except that one. I figured, "Okay, he's obviously drunk, hitting on him now seems a little wrong." Whoops! So much for scruples  Then he had the nerve later on to accuse my character of calling it off - in spite of her still being able to flirt with him and get +affection for courting gifts. That gal ended up very confused. :D Guess I'll just hook her up with Theron.

  4. Corso is one of my faves too, between his sweetness and his optimism and his jealousy around other men. The only thing I don't like is where they placed the "mandatory" flirt. I didn't take it on my last playthrough and unknowingly locked myself out of the romance. :( At least my character could still flirt with him occasionally and he still loved it. Especially in the last affection conversation.
  5. Yes, thank you, BioWare! I'm a purely solo gamer and for almost 2 years now I've been subscribing to this game only for a month here and there, whenever double XP came up. Thanks to 12x XP and the promise of new story content I've now been a sub for going on 4 months, brought many characters from 1st level through Ziost and am very much looking forward to what comes next. This is EXACTLY what I've wanted from this game since the first day I started playing it.
  6. I go LS on my SW for three reasons: first, as a pureblood, she gives not one crap about what Sith are "supposed" to be. She is Sith. She has always been Sith. Whatever she does is what Sith do. Being told that she's doing it wrong is #1 on her annoyance list. Secondly, she's very pro-Empire, and by that I mean the people of the Empire - humans and aliens alike. She's a great supporter of the military. She is NOT a supporter of Sith in-fighting, especially when it harms the Empire and its citizens. Third, she doesn't kill people for kicks. She doesn't kill the weak, the helpless, etc. There's no honor in that, and her family's big on honor and duty and such. And she has great respect for worthy opponents - even Jedi.

Take all those things together and you end up with a very LS character.

  7. A couple weeks back, while leveling my SW through Alderaan, there was a player on general chat praising the Trooper storyline so highly that I finally told them they'd convinced me - my first Republic-side toon would be a Trooper. It was. Today I made my second Trooper, male this time, and my poor SW is collecting dust. Absolutely love the story and companions. Whoever that Trooper promoter was, thank you! :D
  8. I have to give a shout-out to the Trooper companions. Absolutely loved all of them except Tanno Vik, whom I loathe, but at least he isn't dull. If I'd been able to take Fuse as my explosives expert instead, Trooper would've been my first class with all companions at max affection when everything was said and done. Great NPCs all around in that storyline.
