  1. Guess I am not exactly a New Player but I rarely come on these forums so I guess I am kind of new here. The problem I need help with is I unsubscribed for a while and only recently came back a couple of months ago. (had to do something while COVID had me trapped in the house) I have over 40 Bounty contracts that had been sitting in my Legacy hold since before they were moved to the currency tab in the Inventory so they are still a separate item. I just discovered it will not let me spend them or merge them with the ones that I earn now during the most recent bounty hunter event. They are worth zero credits so I can't even sell them. Is the a way to get them into the currency tab? I'd tried to drag them there with the mouse but nothing happens.
  2. Yea. I would never ninja a chest or objective from someone. I like the idea of clicking on them and having my Jedi say thanks but I fear I might be too slow. Still I want to give that a try though as that seems to be the best RP friendly way of doing it. Ok. Really dumb question though. How do I buff other players? I am playing a Jedi Knight Guardian. I am concentrating on the Vigilance skill tree. What skills buff others? PS: Seriously thanks everyone for the thoughts. It's a big help.
  3. Ok... I think I am starting to understand. What's the general view about jumping into fights others are having? I know I find myself unsure sometimes when questing. I am roll playing a lone wolf Jedi sure but He's not the kind to just walk past another Republic agent who's in a fight. Don't want to be accused of kill stealing or anything though but if I see their health bar going down and the baddies still healthy I have been force leaping into the fray. I think it's cool when others do it for me.
  4. Short story......So I am tooling along with my Guardian with Kira in tow but lone wolfing it. (it's just how I want to play)... but here I am getting my back side handed to me by something where I bit off more than I can chew... and.... Random Jedi or Trooper jumps in and saves my bacon (yes it's happened a few times) I live and I go on to continue my quest to save the galaxy.... So when this happens I want to say thanks. I appreciate the save... But I'll be darned if I can figure out that chat thing other than just sending a thanks that goes out to where ever. is there a way to say thanks to just someone near you? Is that even appropriate or do people not want that on Roll playing servers? Is there an established Etiquette to helping people in fights? I've jumped in a few times too when I saw someone struggling. Do people get mad when you do that? I hope I didn't do something insulting. This is my first MMO so I am very new to all this. Any thoughts would be swell!
  5. Thanks for all the ideas everyone. I am not sure my computer will handle the flashpoints or war zone. It's handling the game alright going through the story but can get laggy at times. For crafting I am going with making lightsaber parts. Sending my droids out treasure hunting while I pick up crystals around the levels. Making color crystals and hilts so far then just selling those for some extra cash. (when I don't reverse engineer them). I did get on the GTN this morning and found a green item for just a few hundred credits that was at least a step up for Kira right now. Might have to come back in a few levels. But still. Is it normal for a light armor vendor to only have a pair of boots for sale? Or did I get some kind of glitch?
  6. Cool thanks. Off to Taris I go!
  7. I started Nar Shadda first and am having a bit of trouble with it. Will it hurt to just leave and go to Taris without finishing the Class quest there then come back later to finish them?
  8. Hello. I am very new to this game. (level 24 Jedi Knight only so far).. I am having an issue getting my companion geared up as I go. Being a knight Guardian I wear heavy and medium stuff. All my quest rewards are either medium or heavy. I have had at least one quest where I was given the option to choose from 2 identical medium armors and 1 heavy. (seriously?) I am never given the option of picking a light armor. I have a handful of orange upgradable outfits but none my companion Kira can wear. To make it worse I have found light armor dealers selling just one item. Does the game lock me out of light armor once I chose Guardian? Edit: I should add that even drops from enemies seems to be only medium or heavy so far.
