No one else seems to be havign this problem, but my game wont load after the latest patch - have I downloaded it incorrectly or something?

For a light side inquisitor, I was wondering on what peoples thoughts were on the best one to pick, morally.

So I've completely confused myself over how unlocking different species works XD Since on the CC screen it said I needed a character at level 10 and an unlocked legacy, I assumed that if I rolled a Twilek and leveled them up to level 10, I'd have unlocked it across all classes but clearly I was wrong. Does the level 10 thing mean that you have to have a character at level 10 with an unlockedd legacy to unlock extra species in anyway, even if bought with CC? Also, by unlocked legacy, does that mean I have to have unlocked the ability to choose a Legacy name or do I actually have to have chosen one?

As an EU player, I'm probably gonna get more activity at the times I'm on one these two servers, but thanks anyway

I mean if most people stay in character all the time when talking with their Guilds/in general talk.

Being a self-confessed video game softie myself, I plan on playing mostly Light-side Imperial characters Does anyone know if these kind of problems with Light-side Imperials happen more on one Server type than the other (RP/PVE/PVP) or on any specific Servers, specificlly the EU English ones?

So, I posted something similar to this in the New Player forum before, but I thought it would be better in the General Discussion section, as I want to hear about peoples experiences on these servers. I've enjoyed seeing RPing going on on The Progenitor and occasionally joining in, but since I'm not seriously interested in RPing full-time, or even a lot of the time, I'm thinking that server might not be for me, especially when it comes to finding a serious Guild once I level up. I was wondering if people could give me their opinions on just how many of the Guilds on The Progenitor they would say are RP-heavy, and whether general/group OOC chat is normal in them or not. So I'm a new subscriber, and I'm looking to join either The Progenitor or The Red Eclipse as my main server. I don't want to end up joining one server and leveling up for ages only to end up wanting to switch all my characters to a different server because I have no-one to team up with/socialize with in game. So I'm looking for any fellow new players who want to join up and enjoy the game together and help each other level up. I'm planning to be online throughout the afternoon and evening on Great Britain time and plan on playing both Imperial and Republic classes. I plan on using The Progenitor as my main server, but I don't really want to join serious RP guilds on most of my characters. Would you say there was many casual-RP or non-RP Guilds on the server that are successful/seem to last long, or if all the most-active Guilds are serious RPing ones?

So now I get that Im probably not gonna find an RPing Guild on Red Eclipse, but are there very many social/casual ones on The Progenitor that are mainly/all OOC?

I just got a two month subscription but I don't plan on renewing it afterwards, meaning that by the end of it I'll be at preferred status. I'm having some trouble choosing which server to play on - I've heard that Progentior has a more mature community and I wouldn't mind doing the odd bit of role play, but I've also heard that some of he guilds/players are elitist, and it has an unfreindly community. If this is the case, since RP isnt all that important to me, Id probably choose The Red Eclipse, but Im unsure which would be best for me once my subscription is up. Has anyone found that one server is better than the other for non-subscribers - eg. more F2P guilds, people willing to help out non suscribers ect.

Thanks for all the input Would anyone say that either server has a more friendly or open community than the other, or if it is harder to find a guild (free to play or otherwise) on one?

So I'm not sure if I want to join The Progenitor or The Red Eclipse. I'm interested in doing some roleplay if I feel like it on and off, but I don't want to join a server where it's considered the norm to do so even in general discussion, or if The Progenitor has a large number of people who look down on non RP-ers/ elitist controlling RP groups like I've heard. Basically, I don't want to join a server where it isn't easy to just strike up OOC discussions or friendships and ask/give help to other players, hence why I'm drifting towards The Red Eclipse. I don't want to miss out on the social aspects of an MMORPG, which I worry wouldn't really be as easy to find on the RP server. Also, I have some concerns about the seemingly larger number of people on The Red Eclipse creating some lag, although I also see ti as a good thing with regards to the points above. Any first hand experience or tips?
