Sorry if this has been answered already, but does the event end at 12:01 am on Tuesday or 11:59 pm on Tuesday?

I once saw [When You Wish Upon A Death Star] and [intergalactic House of Pancakes]. Most of the names in this thread are way better than the generic ones on Ebon Hawk.

You can get that much pretty quickly by doing warzones or attacking enemy NPCs. Generally when people beg instead of playing the game, I assume they're trolling. Likewise, go out in the world and play the game and help people with their quests if you want to build a guild organically. If you don't want to earn something, it's only fair that you pay a premium for it.

If I want to do the H2s later, I'd be happy to turn it back on. I never played SWG, but from the sounds of things, the big draw there was how much more open ended things were there. Again, not sure why both sides of this coin can't just get what they want separately.

Not really. I stopped doing everything outside the GTN for several months due an initial look at the changes and I'm trying to get back into everything else now. Not sure if I can, but I'll give it a shot. Toggling the level shifts would help for sure.

I don't understand why Bioware/EA/etc. couldn't just make a non-level shift instance like the new PVP instances. There seem to be folks who don't like the level shift and others who are okay with it or even prefer it. Why can't both sides get what they want? Personally, I don't prefer it. Just like the destruction of the character conversation sidequests, it feels like another way for the developers to say that all of our previous accomplishments are worthless ("Oh, you got up to level 65? Too bad, you're back to 25 when you go here.") I really miss the old days, but I will try to acclimate. If I can't, there's $15 per month in my pocket.

If this isn't fixed by the end of the month, I'm probably going to let my subscription lapse and check back in a few months. I'd been spending most of my time seeing if I could get a character from 0 to 10,000,000 credits using nothing but the GTN and the items they have at the beginning of the game. I had gotten up to around 5.5 million, but these bugs make it a lot harder.

I wonder if any of this would have happened before all this KotFE stuff.

Hi all, I've been posting Mythra on the GTN and it's not appearing. Actually posted a thread about this and it also disappeared. Posted two tickets, nothing so far. This happening to anyone else?

Hey all, Missed the beginning of the Life Day event. What is everybody seeing in terms of prices for snow-covered packages? Last year it was next to nothing, but it looks like there's a lot more for sale this year.

Wanted to give another update. Restarted on Oct. 28, I mixed up some deals and actually lost a bit of money, but I figured I should restart the experiment. Sent over around 200,000k I made on the experiment character over to my main, deleted and started over. 10 days later, I am currently at 800,448. Heck, this morning I was at 473,208. All but 241 of that came from mats on the GTN. It's amazing how much little folks out there know about values of their items.

Figured I should give an update. On Oct. 18 at 10:00 a.m., my character had zero credits. Just entered her starter world. Quickly went to my legacy stronghold and sold everything she had of value, literally selling the shirt off her back, for some starter capital. As of Oct. 27 at 10:35 a.m., she's now at 199,325 credits. Nothing but GTN sales. I've been keeping a ledger, I'll publish it once I get up to 10,000,000.

Are people automatically "enrolled" into KotFE just by logging on, even if they don't "start the chapters" or whatever it is? I apologize again for my ignorance. Just really confused.

I've seen a lot of threads saying various things, so figured it was worth asking to see if I could lower my confusion level a bit. Right now I have 16 characters, and to be honest, I was holding off on the Revan content, let alone KofFE. The way I wanted to play the game is to get all 16 (one for each specialization) up to Level 55, explore parts of the game at a more relaxed pace, and then begin the new content after most of them are done with Makeb and Oricon. With 12xp, 8 of them are at 55 (one at 56), and I believe 13 or 14 are at 50ish. Now my companions are gone. They cannot be summoned. For players not in KotFE content, what will happen in regard to bringing back those companions? Also, I have not been able to find whether or not there is a timeline on fixing this, or if it is going to be fixed. Please advise.

Awhile back, I was able to get around 80-110k per round of dailies in Section X when I also did the Aurora Cannon and also got some sliced cash boxes. Definitely a quicker route than this experiment!

Thanks guys, You're giving me some hope. I started an alt today with this exact goal in mind. Nothing but the entry world items and the Rishi idol and parlaying that into 10,000,000 credits. So far, so good. I'm tracking each purchase and sale, I'll post my findings in a few weeks or later on as I get more data.

I've got a question for all of you: do you think it's possible to get 10,000,000 credits ("The Wealthy" achievement) through nothing but the items a character begins with and trading through the GTN? Also, has anyone ever tried this before?

With non-12xp, the gathering skills (archaeology/slicing/bioanalysis/scavenging) can definitely help with mats and cash along the way as you head through the quest areas. I found that it was it was kind of a pain in the neck though if speed was the main goal (you're on your way to the next objective, you see a mat over there, collect it, go back to where you're going, see another mat, go back to where you're going, etc.) Plus you have to make sure beforehand that you're leveled up enough to even pick up the mats as well.

Thanks! October 20th seems reasonable. I'd like to get all 16 specializations up to Lv. 55 before the end of the event. Right now eight are there, three are in the 50s and got a sniper in the 30s. About another 60-80 hours to go, I'd assume.

Is there an end date for the 12xp event? I heard it's ending in "the fall." That's all I know.

What I've heard from people who've just gotten their black belt in karate is that rather than knowing everything there is to know, they have reached the threshold where they have just begun to understand what they don't know. This thread reminds of that, if the time frame where you finish a class quest (around Level 50) is your black belt: you have a general grasp of the game, but there's still a lot to learn. However at that point, you have a general understanding of what you need to learn.
