  1. 1st off, don't be bothered by a bad fps/ops run. Occasionally, they will happen, especially when you're in the learning state. I've been tanking in MMO's for over a decade now, and consider myself a very capable tank. That being said, there's a little bit of learning involved with a new role or new game. I know there was for me and i'm still learning. Take your time, communicate with your party. Letting them know that you are in the process of learning and accepting constructive criticism will go a long way. You will make mistakes, that is fine as long as you learn from them. Good luck out there.
  2. "If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If Dps dies, it's Dps' fault." A good friend of mine used to say this all the time in another MMO when we had a death or a wipe. It is in no way meant to be true of every situation, but i do find there a glint of truth in it. Low level tanking is all about learning, but the same goes for the rest of your group. Healer is learning, and so are dps. Part of your role as tank is to set pace and lay out the fights. As some of the previous posters mentioned, mark your targets and communicate your intentions. Communication never hurts, and when everyone is learning it can be a big factor in how successful each run is.
  3. I'm gonna have to agree with this. I nod to your healer.
