  1. I really appreciate the response that I have already gotten at this point and have located some interesting threads besides what was said here. thanks to all. Oh, and sorry about the "paragraph wall". lol
  2. Let me start by saying that, not only am I new to SWTOR, but to pc gaming in general, so I am well aware that I have a lot of adjustments to make, and fine tuning to implement in order to become a "good player". That said, I am not new to games in general, as I have been playing video games since their inception (e.g. pong, atari, coleco, nintendo, so on and so forth), all the way on up to xbox 360. I have been playing SWTOR for about a month now and have used mostly darkside characters and every time I make it to the actual pvp areas, I end up getting killed by jedi players that are sometimes 3-6 lvls lower than me, sometimes in literally in 3-4 hits. Of course this isn't the norm, but it always is a really difficult process to beat the jedi players, on the odd occasion that I do. But when I accept a duel from a fellow sith, the fight seems to be a lot less one-sided. Did they make the jedi more powerfull than the sith? At this time I am using a lvl 46 sorcerer. Yesterday I was on tatooine in the area I believe is called outpost cantina, and I came upon a lvl 45 jedi, which class I don't know, but it was a very intense fight, and the most evenly matched fight I have had to date, and we both really pretty much pulled out all the stops and each of us had about a quarter of our life left and I began to get the better of him and hadn't actually lost much more whereas he was barely showing any life in his health bar at all. Then all the sudden he starts draining my life while at the same time filling his back up, and every time I healed he just kept on taking my life and filling up his. So I end up dead when I should have had him beat. It just seems like jedi have an unexhausting amount of force power, and I am sure that it's more about the knowledge of the game, like pvp equip and other aspects that I either haven't figured out yet or have no clue about yet, but it seems that you have to stumble across the information before you know the correct questions to ask, even if you wanted to go search through ridiculous amounts of info on the forums before you ever find out what you need to know. Maybe some specific information about how pvp works, and how important pvp equipment is to success in random pvp encounters is something that should, not just be available, but actually told is necessary for success in the overall scheme of the game. If you're new to the mmo scene, you can't possibly know the absolute frustration that awaits you and you will not know to ask those questions. Please give some feedback on this and any advice on how to improve my skills and or use of equipment.
