Same problem, even more annoying is that some time it sticks in place after the moment is up making any other chapter (or otherwise) skill that uses the bar bug out.

Have they had any fix for this? UNable to complete Star Fortress if a dare use heroic abilities

I personally don't mind her 'chatter" it's not really all that much of a problem, most times I find it kind of funny or cute, the rest of the time I pay no attention to it. You might well ask for 23 more "Death Grunts" from NPC's because they are just as repetitive as Treek is.
My biggest problem with Treek is, I just can't bring myself to use her on my Big tough mean Sith Warrior. Makes me giggle to much seeing a "Dark Lord of the Sith" running around with an Ewok!
Agreed, we need more death grunts.
On the topic: I prefer Treeks ramblings, for me its funny as hell.
Who doesn't like things like:
"You are big and stupid!"
"You are weaker than a munyip!"
"Another stupid foe gone! Bring more!"
"My fate is your destruction!"
Every character i own runs with Treek.
