  1. I love that this community still doesn't properly track kills and throws around terms like deserve. Not really. http://www.dtguilds.com/home/m/6563291/article/2227514
  2. I can't speak for every guild you listed, but I can say that in the last six months we've had 12 applications. If that's the larger recruitment base then ...we are all collectively fuct.
  3. I mean, maybe right? I'm not a star wars fan, and I don't like mmos. My fun involves logging in and buying a cartel pack, running to the hub and opening all my presents in front of everyone while I dance. Dom can't have the only crown.
  4. Man you guys are really into this game. I've purchased probably 1,000 cartel packs, have millions of credits and all the mounts, pretty sweet looking gear and I've just hit 32 on my first character. The change of focus is probably my fault. heh. That said, I strongly disagree with rules being put in place for kills. This community is small enough. At most there could be a restricted league and an unrestricted league, but I've always viewed a kill as a kill, it happened and theres not much more to it. Nobody follows this community, and you're not playing for the masses - you're playing for yourselves because you enjoy the game. Any small amount of drama that comes from the few guilds on top is part of the game, doesn't need to be complicated even further, the community is too small.
  5. Way worst than Horse Armor DLC, clearly.
  6. Is this a real thread? If you don't participate you really have no input. The people that do participate are putting extra effort in trying to be helpful and constructive for the sake of the enjoyment of everyone. What happens in the rest of your life when you have opportunity waiting and you ignore it, don't take advantage of it? Other people pass you. I can't believe this is a thread. You guys need more things to kill or something.
  7. One feature of his progression site that I like is that it tracks kills, not 'kills based on one persons opinion'. So yea its a step forward, and more in-line with progress tracking in other mmos for sure.
  8. According to our spreadsheet: all of them. Haven't you seen our S+V tracking document? After the communities unanimous decision last round of dungeons to go full RP points we created our own tracker. We full on blitzed World Firsts right down the line months ago. Sorry you missed the fun.
  9. We find math impossible, you find world firsts impossible, I find the Swtor community impossible, we all have our vices it would seem.
  10. I disagree. I like Carl. Fellow exploiters are like family. You so crazy playing those videogames how you want and not how everyone else wants you to, get out of here you crazy guy.
  11. Soooo, 4/5 world first and a world fourth on title and we're 13th on the list. /golfclap. That pretty much answers why we're no longer participating in these. Two new instances announced, and I'm so excited. I simply cannot wait to see how those are done linearly. I expect they'll both be something like five non-linear doors so the collective swtor community's heads all simultaneously explode. I hope to see the many rp council meetings that follow on how to game progression excel docs. I can't wait to watch that drama. Goodjob to the dudes killing bosses. Keep up the great work.
  12. Free stuff makes me happy! Happy 4th!
  13. Sweet. So the rest of us can still keep track of actual first kills and not the ones decided on by the role-playing guilds, sounds great.
  14. Its pointless to ask me to post, firstly because nothing we are discussing will ever make it off the internet; e.g. talked to bob at work today about his emorals when playing videogames specifically competitive raiding something like maybe 100 people care about tops - and secondly because in my mind I see no issue; we killed some bosses first, was DG doable; maybe obviously but we made the decision to skip it and clear the rest; its very obviously not tuned correctly even if it is killable i think thats fairly agreeable, but there are a lot of other things to consider. Nobody here is being paid to play swtor, we dont care about the 'eurovision' of anything much less our guilds emorality I mean cmon be serious. We werent claiming first clear, we openly admitted we were skipping this dumb DG encounter, we streamed the whole thing and the amount of people watching was easily the whole target audience for this small scene anyway but there were no initial complaints, and we were willing to compromise with half points for bosses after DG because it seemed reasonable - we are a multigame community and that whats common. In the end it doesnt matter because when the 7 people in the future ask who killed something first ultimately its not going to matter what you tell them, at least if youre honest and say DNT they may have heard the name before and be more willing to play at a competitive level. If we cared about anyone elses feelings we wouldnt be around still. We win, the end justifys the means. iPhone typos.
  15. They cared enough to ask for feedback on bugs, and we reported on what was found. We try to be constructive.

  19. The devs didn't say it was cheating, they said: Congratulations, did you find any bugs to report? Thanks for discrediting us for no reason though.
  20. I'm not trolling, I'm exercising the same right as everyone else on these forums: the ability to give my opinion. I've been in the same world-class guild for 10 years across multiple games though, so what do I know?
  21. Last I checked there was no e-moral clause in the EULA when I signed up to this game. Take all this drama to an RP server bros.
