Hello Community! I will keep this short. Contents of this thread has been explored elsewhere: Galactic Starfighter, in my opinion, is bt far the most thrilling, tactical, exciting and dynamic PvP experience I have ever played! However, it sadly is turning into what some may call a ghost's Sky! This is because both new, and existing but less experienced players are totally outmatched by veterans in this arena; consequently and failed in every match, stolen of confidence, and stop playing all together with a few lightly upgraded ships and lost hopes. I do not believe that there upgrade system is the problem: it actually is a dynamic and well-balanced element of the game where players can gain an advantage and boost their strengths. Nor do I believe it is the lack of a ranking system; a subtle ranking system may be viable, such as beginners and advanced modes where players are limited by their status; however there are not enough active players to do this! Galactic Starfighter requires both more appeal and more balance in gameplay. I am by far, not the best player in GSF, however, after weeks of practice I have a chance of taking down veterans. The one thing that I wish I had access to, that would have improved my abilities greatly, would be a SOLO MODE where I can choose a map, explore, experiment, turn on or off targeting bots. This I imagine would lift novice players to a confidence, level of experimentation and finesse in control to where they do not feel totally outmatched. There is no way to learn the game without been slugged by a gunship! Finally, I wish to mention as more encouragement to play is needed. Subscriber players for instance may be attracted by a higher credit and EXP gain. and if not, perhaps not pilot gear, but general artifact gear that can be obtained along an extended progression. Gear of which there is demand for; selection of mods/mounts etc. Galactic starfighter is an incredible experience and an outstanding challenge to master. I do not wish to see it turn to dust. Nor do I wish for ques on an hour or more due to a lack of players. I hope that GSF can in the future make a big and strong return, as a competitive arena of confidence prestige and pride.
