In all honesty I think at least add an option for six man fp's and ops because personally I only play with people I actually know and our group totals six we want to run ops but the problem with that is if we find 2 more people to run with they always quit half way through or want to kick a group member because they use a slower pc plus there should be options for groups between 4 and 8 players anyway easier ops and harder fp's or something

well its like i said befor its not about the faction change as much as the extra quests and story involved in the defection not to mention it would in no way affect what has already happened in your story its a forward moving quest line not a faction change that would instantly take you from being one thing to being the equivalent on the other side you would always have the powers that you had as a (for this example we will use a marauder / sentinel) marauder so u could still use force choke as a jedi sentinel without it being involved in legacy because you learned the skill legitimately.

no that is not what is said at all the. the point i'm trying to make with this is there is no way to truly fall to the dark side or rise from it. A simple lore fact there is no such thing as a light side sith in the sith you are dark side or you are not a sith. However there are dark jedi and gray jedi but the same does not apply to the sith because in the eyes of the sith the dark side is the only way to power and power is all they care about. trooper hunter smug and agents all should have defection options but the jedi and sith should at least be able to switch sides it happens all the time in the stories Darth Vader is a definite case in point. for that matter so is his grandson Jacen Solo. as far as rising from the dark side i have never heard of this happening save for revan but that was a very odd case involving memory wipe however i would have to assume that it would be just as possible as falling to the dark side.

also the vast majority of a quest line like this could actually be done though scripted text in game via dead drops or something along those lines we are talking about defection. That is not something that can be spoken about out loud in most areas.

You're making points from a developer's standpoint not as a player and players are the only thing that really matter. Without players they have nothing its that simple and if they do it correctly it would be be 100 times more profit than loss. voice acting costs are the biggest part of the cost the rest is just paying the developers to do the work because they already have the software to make everything i'm trying to explain and then some i'm not asking for anything new just new quests and quest lines the would make this game truly feel like star wars not like wow with lightsabers.

Well that is more what i was getting at there would be a totally different quest line specific to class and original faction. They could even go as far as adding tier 2 advanced classes and a much higher level cap. Instead of doing what wow does and adding 5 lvls here another 10 here and so on. I just think this is the way it should be to give gamers the full experience of the star wars universe and like you said give the game a more free flow feel.

well the real thing would be optional defection that would totally change to story if you choose it wouldn't be as simple as a faction change. it would just borden the scope of possibilities for each player as to make a truly one of kind experience for every toon. you can always be the jedi who does the dirty work or the voice of reason to the sith but why not be able to turn your back on them all together also how do u feel about the rest of the ideas?

Why not make your personal story even more customized by adding light and dark side story branches? Say for example you start you game as a sith warrior and chose to be pure light side. There could be a story event where you actually change sides and become a jedi knight. this seems like a cool way for it to work just because people could literally fall to the dark side or be saved from it. in lore many of the greatest sith started their lives as jedi why not in game as well?? i would also like to throw the idea out there about cross breed alts through legacy for example if you have a Zabrak and a Chiss as a married couple on your legacy tree u should be able to have a blue skinned horned tattooed zabrak like child as an option for their offspring. also maybe add clones so u dont have to level an alt at all just make a clone who would be an exact copy for your main but say be an "evil twin" plz excuse all spelling and grammar errors it is 3 am and i have been working all day lol. plz give thoughts and input on your personal feeling toward this
