  1. I've got one, sort of. Single-bladed green/sea-green Bellicose from Ultrasabers. I think it fits my own design-esthetics perfectly; not too intricate, not to fancy, the angled "shroud" over part of the blade fits really nicely, so I can move my hand up real close to the emitter to utilize it in both a one-handed and two-handed grip. From my practice with one-and-a-half-handed medieval swords, I've noticed that I thend to use my off-hand in a "only if necessary situational form, putting me quite firmly in a Makashi/Soresu blend, with some hints of Niman to complement it, and the design I'm currently using easily accommodates that tendency. All three of these forms allow the use of 1 or 2 hands, and thus a simple straight design for my sword was the best option. My form, true to my Main(Jedi Sage) is highly academic and is used more as a form of meditation rather than actual combat, resulting in stylized movements, and a sleek execution, and true to form, my blade also shows that.
  2. I'm more concerned about how the other "romance" companions would react when you start kissing them with Valkorion still in your mind. ".... hmm... She reminds me of Senya when she was younger" The PC-character just backs up with a disturbed look on his face. (or, in case of a male romance-companion) "Though all the lifetimes I've lived, the grand deeds I did... this was not part of ANY of my plans."
  3. impossible. Lions need Taurine in their diet. If the lion doesn't get taurine it will die. Taurine is ONLY found in animal-tissue. No plant or synthetic variant has ever been produdes or found. If there is such a thing as a "vegitarian" lion in captivity then the owner is abusing it by depriving it from one of the most essential parts of it's diet.
  4. yeah, but it wasn't exactly in great level of detail. That scene was nice, and really well done, but somehow, it just leaves a dry taste in my mouth in that I want to know more of what happened in that time-period. There is so much room for really gorgeous tragedies like the Battle of Jabiim in Star Wars: The Clone Wars comics, and I would love to see stories like the battle of Troy, but set in the star-wars universe. Show the galaxy resisting. there was a line something along the lines of "They carved a path through the galaxy". I want to know what the context was for Thexan and Arcan destroying the Jedi Temple and Sith Academy on Tython and Korriban. The construction of the Star Fortresses is also a chapter I want more info on. All these little moments that are barely hinted at in the story if at all tell larger stories on their own, and I want to know those stories. The reason I sugested Lana or Theron being the storyteller is because they seem to have been active a lot in this time, preparing the alliance of odessen before the arrival of the Outlander. And having 10 or 12 minute clips that explain those things would be totally awesome and add another glorious chapter to the lore of SWTOR.
  5. I would love to see some history of what happened in the 5 years since the Outlander disappeared, in the same way the history to SWTOR was shown before it was released. Have those nice paint-ish looking scenes and with some minor animations and stuff, and have it narrarated by for instance Theron Shan and Lana Beniko. Fairly simple to do, but awesome to look at. I'm asking this just because I'm curious as to how they got eveything to where it is, and having Lana or Theron explain it would be a nice bit of addition to the lore. so please Bioware, let me know if this is something you would consider!
  6. seeing as I finished the story-line of the consular once before, and Rise of the Hutt Cartel, I feel I am almost duty-bound to answer in this thread. However; I will also note that I believe that I have little to add, and others might have said what I will say, and have probably said it better than I did. From my perspective, I take the text that EA put as the "banner" of the consular with a grain of salt. I've always seen them as the foundation from which the rash JK's can launch their attacks on the empire. They make sure the home-front stays secure and strong while the knights are in enemy territory. The consulars are also the calmer more rational ones, as opposed to the knights who tend to be (as I said) rash and quick to action; and I believe the story-line really represents that role in the very well. The first arc on Tython is an excelent example of a consulars journey to wisdom; seeking the knowledge. And the later arcs put some of the lessons in practice. When you look at it as this it suddenly becomes less about the actions you take, but more about the growth as a character. A result of such ingenious writing is that it tends to be rather rigid, and that needs to be kept in order. The lack of actual consequences to killing the masters instead of resqueing them is a result of this innitially awesome story. The companions also show this clever writing in them, each of them becoming more and more dependant on you; from the almost completely independant but devoted Qyzen to the completely dependant and loyal Nadia. Rather than a story of heroics, I consider the story of the consular to be more of a personal story of growth. The problems within the consulars arcs and companions all stem from this; if you'd ask me. I also think that this is also what separates the consular's story-arc from that of the other classes. In particular from the one of the knight; which is an outwardly directed story. I've recently finished the second arc of the Knight, and am halfway with the first arc of the smuggler. I am also in the beginning of the third arc of the Warrior; and all seem to have this problem of the stories being both outwardly directed, and motivated by forces outside of the controll of the main character.
  7. My suggestion is two-fold, to be quite honest on 1 side: I would really like to add a tiny bit of atmosphere by adding a form of music/theme to my stronghold. Personally, while my primary stronghold is on Coruscant, I would really like to play the score "Tython, the wellspring" or the jedi consular theme. Like, have the owner of a stronghold be able to set which score plays upon entry of the stronghold and which songs would be "rotationally", the ones that simply pop up once in a while to lend atmosphere. This isn't a difficult or groundbreaking feature, so it should be easy to implement given that the game already uses a ton of cues, which means the files are readily available. You could even sell different tracks on the Cartel Market later on. on the second side: when are we gonna get an update to the Original Sound Track(OST) or score? I've noticed quite a few musical cue's, in particular on Makeb and Rise of the Hutt Cartel Content, that aren't in the score.
