Lol are you trying to defend powertechs in pvp right now? Is this really happening? Child, please sit down. I main AP and i know its over powered. If i have guard and heals, i will annihilate you no matter who you are or what class you are. So if you're trying to bring up this "glass cannon" excuse, then you're just not very intelligent. Sure pt's can get focused down (if you're bad) but this game has tanks and healers and you can't talk about a class without putting it in a scenario with tanks and healers

if you find yourself casting serrated shots a lot, you aren't playing IO merc correctly. One thing to understand is that this class was the highest parsing class during 3.X. Now it is at the bottom of the charts so i do agree some changed do need to be made with the dot spread at least. Removing the cast on serrated shots would be cool too

I wouldnt mind some old rewards coming back, i mean it would be awesome to get that firebrand gear. back when that stuff was around i wasn't really a pvper and never had the chance to do it bc lack of pops and friends (rip). I mean we got nothing for s6 rewards and honestly the stuff is just sitting in the archives of bioware code, so it wouldn't be hard to bring back. Plus everyone wants a chance at the season 1 rancor (again?). i didn't start pvping until season two rip.

Let me repeat myself, my main gripe with the vendor is buying titles from it. I dont agree with it in general but can live with it existing. But those titles need to be removed from it, the titles are supposed to mean something, they show theat you earned your 1600 rating, you shouldn't be able to get the all star title just from playing matches because then theres no way of recognizing the good players

So did you just ignore my entire post to just just write that statement? how is the vendor bringing people into pvp, what is the vendor doing now that bioware wasn't already doing before. The reason why they made that vendor was because they didn't want another "Nexu" incident to happen. And honestly, idgaf if it goes away entriely although it would be great, i just want the titles removed from it. Titles should only be gained through rating, not comms

So i dont know why bioware thought putting the titles in the vendor was a good idea. I'm seeing a lot of people who only got silver rating walking around with the predator title which is dumb. they didn't get 1600 rating, why would they be able to get that title. on harbinger some people have played over 400 matches and hovered around 1300-1400 and they've saved so many comms that at the end of the season with the silver package, they were able to afford the Predator title. If thats how it's going to be from now on there's no point in working for 1600 if some random idiot can win 5 matches in the beginning of the season and just play hundreds of matches to get the "All Star" title. Bioware please remove the titles from the vendor, Get rid of the vendor in general, it's retarded

I was very disappointed when 3.0 dropped to see my favorite class, the marauder nerfed hard for whatever reason. We lacked mobility, and just couldn't stay on our targets as easy as other classes. Then it was fixed somewhat with the predation change and with the fury stun immunity. Carnage still lacked the stun immunity but the burst was fast and unpredictable so it was more viable for team ranked than fury. Now when i play my carnage mara, once the burstiest spec in the game, i feel like a wet noodle. Compared to the now obnoxious ambush 28k crits plus 11k followthroughs. I tried to get the highest crit i could in a voidstar and my 100% armor penetration autocrit Devastating Blast with Bloodthirst and the damage boost power up from wz's plus both relic procs, crits for 17k (lol) with a follow up 14k vicous throw. Now you may think that that combo isn't so bad compared to the snipers combo, but look at the setup for my combo. i needed blood thirst AND the dmg boost with relic procs, whereas a sniper can just do lolambush with lolfollowthrough., and that DB/VT combo can only happen once in a while so mostly it's just a Ravage/DB combo or DB/massacre combo That is just pathetic for being the "burst" spec of the mara when other classes are either critting higher, or more often.. But i guess BW's idea is that fury is the new "burst" spec. As a Carnage Mara, i dont have much up-time on my targets unlike Fury which has an extra gap closer and more stun immunity, So when i am on my targets, that dps matters so much. Why would bioware change the crit dmg on massacre and devastating blast, but not snipe and ambush for sniper, or magnetic blast and energy burst for pt's, or unload's 6k ticks and heatseekers. I just dont know what goes trhough the combat teams head when they come up with changes "Yes lets not forget to nerf marauders, they'll be too OP. Wait there are other classes too? Nah thats too much work, we'll fix em in 10 months. Al i can say is that i'll be playing fury exclusively in pvp. I might play carnage for nostalgia's sake, and who knows, maybe im missing something. all i can do is hope P.S. They added a DoT to Carnage that does 2k damage over 9 seconds.....lmfao. If you heard that during 2.0 you'd laugh too
