    They would not queue against Synergy at level 50 when we asked them if we could play smash, that is a fact.

     

    You've been drinking too much of Sifu's kool-aid (or Trumoo?).

     

    First you claimed the no bubble stun/smash agreement was to hold down Synergy (false), and now you claim that DP refused to play Synergy when they were running smash (false).

     

    Maybe Synergy members just don't question Sifu's impeccable logic. After all, he only runs three Scoundrels because there was no available Shadow right?

    Is that what someone from Synergy told you? The no smash/bubble stun agreement had nothing to do with Synergy at all. It started from MVP and DP wanting to play each other without being CC'd half of the game.

     

    What you might be confusing is when certain members of MVP didn't want to queue against Synergy running 3-4 smash with no tank. The difference there was that Synergy stopped running the comp because it stopped being successful beyond the first night anyways.

    Then when people queue for ranked with compositions that allow them to compete (maybe by design, maybe out of necessity due to lack of the 'right' people online), the elite guilds with all the server's best players complain.

     

    I'm not suggesting I love how things are going, I agree with most of you here...but people can't have it both ways. Can't start disallowing people to queue, and good luck getting Bioware to do anything. (editing done)

     

    It's the turtle comps that are killing ranked, not the other way around. Long-time guildies are being excluded just so that these guilds can run three Scoundrels.

     

    Rateds have slowed down considerably because of how boring these games are.

    how about stop using fking retarded group comps. 3+ healers + tanks= MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF BOREDOM.

     

    faced a team tonight in rateds that had 4 op healers, 2 sin tanks, op dps (lol) and a mara. if we hadnt decided to do some crazy next-level strat (it really wasnt lol) it probably never would have ended. we had the damage, but you *cannot* kill people quickly enough to actually cap anything when the team has 4 healers.

     

    this obscenely defensive style that has been plaguing RWZ has to go. it could either happen when the devs address how healing is way over the top (what is the point of Trauma if 50% of it is wiped out by expertise?), or the players can take it upon themselves to start worry more about fun games than coming up with the best next strat.

     

    RWZ are more about getting absolutely insanely lucky with CC timings than about straight up PvP engagements.

     

    its just boring. there is very little skill dancing around a node in a stalemate waiting for your opponents CC break skill to go on cooldown.

    The ironic thing is that the OP runs 3 scoundrel healers + 2 tanks and uses the most turtley strats possible.

     

    I'm perfectly fine with Hypergates kicking people out after an hour. I'd rather they fix the root cause of kills being too difficult against certain class composition.

     

    I feel that a lot of problems would be solved if a ranked team could only run 1 of each advanced class.

     

    It will not solve everything bc u can still run triple heals and tank but part of the current problem is stacking of more powerful classes. Smashes and OP/scoundrel heals.

    Y don't teams run triple commando heals? Prob bc it would not work bc they don't stack as well as scoundrels.

     

    Also eliminating field respecs in RWZ will also help.

     

    Restricting one of each advanced class will certainly help the current state of RWZ, but it isn't the ideal solution. Advanced classes would be pigeon holed into the spec/role that is considered the best. For example, a DPS Scoundrel/DPS Shadow would have even less of a chance to make it into a RWZ team.

     

    A better solution would be to restrict one of each spec per advanced class (i.e. one healing Scoundrel and one dps Scoundrel is fine) and disable field respecs.

  6. The problem with deciding it on kills (when no pylon is capped) is that it becomes too luck based with which team gets the better splits. Whichever team guesses correctly and forces the other team to rotate a member is most likely going to win the round.

     

    A better solution is that if no side is capped by the end of the round, the round is extended for 1 minute at a time but respawns are disabled.

  7. We are working to find different comps and strats to win the game, objectively. We're making the emphasis on objectives, not TDM. To me, thats more fun. If I wanted to kill stuff all match I'd go play call of duty. Here to play and have more fun, thats it.

     

    Oh, the joy of fighting a 3v3 against two scoundrel and one tank on a hypergate split. Might as well stop attacking because the only buttons that are of importance for the next two minutes are CCs and CC breaks. Then repeat this for the next 20 rounds.

     

    Don't blame it on a lack of shadow tanks. Synergy runs with two tanks and three scoundrels for most of their matches.

     

    As of now, the best comp is probably four scoundrel, two slingers, and two guardian tanks. Gameplay would boil around coordinating CC caps and stopping caps (and macro clicking huttball pickups). Everyone would quit RWZs within a week though.

  8. He's right. You don't leave a server because you might once in a while run into a certain team. On top of that, 3 scoundrels only changes the gameplay of certain maps and synergy doesn't always run 3 scoundrels.. Hypergates is a map design problem, not a scoundrel problem. If the map was properly designed it would play out more like novare coast, in which 3 scoundrels has no effect on gameplay. Voidstar every other team has 3+ healers on defense. Huttball doesn't really change gameplay at all, in fact having a sage would probably be more beneficial. Civil war was always determined by who got the node first. The difference is that nobody was doing the 2-4-2 opening until other teams came to this server. That is inherently a turtle strat and it will be a turtlefest regardless of 3 scoundrel or not. That's my 2 cents. Haters gonna hate.

    You say that as if Synergy doesn't get the longest games against other good teams. Ever since you've switched to three Scoundrels, I've seen more Novare 30 minute time outs, 20+ round Hypergates, 10+ minutes before the first cap in CW. Huttball becomes even more about who can pick up (macro) the first ball.

     

    Running three Scoundrels takes the more boring parts of the game and makes it the entire game.

  9. Full partisan should give you max expertise (2018). Since you aren't using the default shells, it's possible that you didn't transfer everything correctly. That is, one of your item modifications may not have expertise in it. This includes the color crystals (use +41 expertise crystals if your weapons have expertise mods in it).
  10. Revan's chest was definitely changed to a lighter shade of gray. However, this might be the intended color: do you have a good reason as to why it is not meant to be the current color?

     

    I personally like the original dark color much much more, and I suspect that holds true for the majority of people.

    However, i'd like to have the 240 Cartell Points (4x60) back i've just spend early this Morning to unlock the cubes for my other Chars.

    I feel pretty betrayed right now.

     

    Why would you do it after it was fixed?

     

    Treat this as a golden rule: the Collections system is never intended as a way of obtaining credits.

  12. I mean, it may be an exploit, but it certainly doesn't seem like it since it is a quest item and is allowed to be put in a collection.

     

    I think any significant amount of credits made from the collections system was not intended. Why not wait for a BW response rather than take the risk? It's not like you'll get any fewer credits (since it is a one time quest) if you wait a few days.
