  1. After really trying this game for 2 months now, i've seen NO endgame... In over 2 years there hasn't been any new endgame content, class-balance is appaling with developers making rookie misstakes by overtuning classes instead of changing in small steps over short periods of time. They do big changes to classes and then don't rebalance for weeks or months... something a competent developer would never do. I'm not a developer and i know that you balance classes by making small changes.. And there's no endgame to speak of. I've been 70 for almost 2 months now, i leveled up to 70 in less then 1 week playing and since then i've been pretty much in the same gear. I'm commandrank 41 and i haven't received a single upgrade from my crates in 21 ranks... I've simply lost faith in the developers and i strongly believe they're riding on their own high horse, delisional in their own failiure and seing it as achievements. Everyone hates the Token-system and as i watched the Dev-stream, it became clear that the devs cares nothing for what the community are saying. There was no mentioning of the failed CXP-system, no mentioning of the hated Token-system.. they just remade everything into more complicated and didn't respect the PAYING community enough to admit to their own mistakes. My own guild has gone from 30+ online to about 9-15 at peak times, people login for maybe 1 hour at the most, and i find myself back to an old game from 2008, a SINGLE PLAYER GAME from 2008 that is more fun and more appealing then your SWTOR .. That says alot about how "fun" your game is. Endgame needs to be about more then just logging in and hoping to run an Op, or winning some WZ's.. And we haven't had a new OP in 2+ years. Other FREE TO PLAY mmo's has had much much more updates and new content. So ***'s the problem with SWTOR !?. I'm thinking the devs has their hands tied behind their backs or simply don't care... either way, i don't see this game improving much in the future, not enough to warrant further subscription. I won't let the door hit me on my way out... i'm going to play my game from 2008, that's way better and more fun.
  2. I guess from the absence of staff-replies, there are no reason why i should continue to subscribe. That means the game will continue to give a dreadfull experience once you've reached 60 and are expecting to have more then 10% of the content actually worth playing.
  3. I missed the stream because i was misinformed of the time. But i guess nothing will change in terms of gameplay the near months and 2/3 of the content will remain useless for L60 characters. RNG will reign supreme unless you want to farm and farm and farm for tokens. No changes to Flashpoints , they remain pointless. No changes to Heroics , they remain pointless for 60+.
  4. I started playing almost 1 month ago, i'm a player who focuses on one character, building them strong for both pvp and pve, but i get bored when i am locked to 1 piece of content. When i played WoW many years ago (pre Lichking) i had many options when i logged in that all would benefit my character in some way. I could either join Arenas and collect seasongear that would vastly improve my characters effectiveness, or i could do any of the dungeons for BiS gear that i still hadn't gotten. But i wasn't tied down to 1 dungeon, i had plenty to chose from unless i wanted one specific item that only dropped in "that" dungeon. Or i could spend an hour farming for elemental mats that sold for good gold, well worth the time spent farming, or i could just WORLD PVP. But when i got to 70 in SWTOR i noticed that suddenly... there wasn't anything to do, nothing that actually made an impact on my character. Heroics stopped giving me gear after L60, so that's one piece of content that is totally unnecessary for me unless they're needed for conquest, so that's 1/3 of the content a waste of time. What about Flashpoints ?. I've ran Flashpoints since the 2nd day i played, i cleared The False Emperor on my second day (first day in guild) and i have NEVER seen an upgrade drop, i have never seen anything drop in Flashpoints that has made me go "YES I NEED THAT"... everything that i've seen in Flashpoints has been vendorcrap.. green and blue gear that has always been subpar compared to the gear i got from L60 Heroics. So there's another piece of content that really isn't of any use for my L70 character... He's full 230 gear with 4/7 piece set... So now we're up to 2/3 of content that aren't of any use playing. Then we have the PvP and the class-balance combined with really stupid warzone mechanics. Just yesterday in the Ancient Hypergate we saw several times how poorly the mechanics are balance when 1 Assassin kept 2 of our players from capping our gateway for 1 minute by using stealth and disables, more then enough time for 2 more enemies coming to our gateway, then we couldn't cap it at all. In the Voidstar Warzone, classes with stealth mechanic are utterly gamebreaking. It takes 10 seconds to plant or disarm a bomb, in which time, a cloaked class can easily sneak by and interupt any player, how are you suppose to plant a bomb when there is NO WAY to stop a stealthed character from interupting you?. Then there's the class-balance in pvp.. it's dreadful, non existant, and in 5+ years you devs still haven't managed to balance them or even learn how to properly implement changes carefully. You had 2 classes that were underperforming slightly, commando and mercenary, then you update the 2 and now they're unstoppable.. How do you, as a developer, excuse that drastic change from slightly underperforming to vastly outperforming other classes ?. How am a player and subscriber suppose to believe that you can do your job, when you still haven't learned how to properly test and apply changes to classes after 5+ years ?. If i would've had your trackrecord of failiures and MY job, i would've been out of a job the first month... i was building electronic cablesystems for airplanes, armyvehicles and large transports. You think MY employer would've liked me saying "next time" for this long. MY goal as employer always is to produce maximum quality, something i'm proud of. So why should i continue to subscribe?. My sub ends this tuesday, and 2/3 of the game is a waste of my time since nothing of it will help me to gearup my character.. I'M NOT COLLECTING TOKENS, i want gear. Every game i've played sofar has rewarded me with GEAR.. NOT TOKENS. Rift - Gear - direct reward. WoW - Gear - direct reward. Tera - Gear - direct reward. ArcheAge - Gear - direct reward. Warhammer Online - Gear - direct reward. Age of Camelot - Gear - direct reward. Elderscrolls Online - Gear - direct reward. Defiance - Gear - direct reward. Wildstar - Gear - direct reward. SWTOR - Tokens - indirect reward - fail. The only way i can see this game turning around, is making Flashpoints a steppingstone for Operations, a REAL steppingstone with bosses that drops REAL rewards. If a dungeon and boss is hard enough to wipe a group of non-elite players several times, then there should be some form of reward for them once they actually beat the boss - otherwise those players are never going to go back... again. Every boss in Flashpoints should drop gear. And since players over 60 doesn't get any gear from Heroics, that should be the next avenue to gearing up before Operations.. NOT trusting in stupid CMD-Crates. (My last 10crates has rewarded JUNK) Make Heroics give craftingmats according to your profession. Make Flashpoints be the steppingstone towards Operations. STOP Overpowereing classes - test your updates THOROUGHLY !. So why should i keep subscribing ?
  5. Really?. I've ran multiple Flashpoints and gotten zero craftingcomponents, i actually have to resort to market to get the standard components i need.. Also, running a dungeon for CRAFTNG !?.. I'm used to running dungeons FOR GEAR.. and UPGRADES. If i'm going to get craftingcomponents and no gear from dungeons, i'm not paying for this game.

  7. I got 5 days left of sub, i doubt they'll be able to change my mind. I've given ample feedback about what is wrong with this game on multiple occasions. I don't pay subscription to a game where only 10% of the content is worth doing, and i don't like tokensystems, i prefer DIRECT REWARDS... Enter dungeon > kill boss > collect upgrade. Tokensystem for rewards is badmmkay , most people dislike it because its unnecessarily complicated.
  8. Personally i think it was really bad writing and screwed up alot of evil characters. I play a Sith, sith aren't known for their forgiving nature, and since Arcann killed 5 planets worth of people, there was no attonement for him. But the bad writing forced my character to either let Arcann live and attone for his crimes so i could keep Senya as a companion, or kill both... No matter how good standing i had with Senya, i had to kill her if i wanted to kill Arcann for what he did to alot of people. Atleast the writers could've given the players options in conversations that would let you keep Senya, persuade her that Arcann was beyond saving.. But noo.... i lost the only 1 of 2 companions i liked.
  9. All i expect is more then 10% of content useful for a subscriber like me... without having to run a warzone 400 times to get some items that doesn't really make that much differens. Also, when i see friends who can't really afford to subscribe or have cheap parents, are getting locked out of loot from BASIC HEROICS, that really pisses me of. What kind of F2P game stops their players from collecting the loot-rewards and updates from a mear daily !?.

I never liked mmo's wiith gearsystem based on tokens, unless it's like Warhammer Online where bosses dropped a "broken" armor that would cover 3 classes and could be repaired at a special vendor, that was direct rewards, instead of grinding the same crap for 400 times to get a tier 1 set. What this game needs is a new DIRECTLY rewarding lootsystem, without any tokens. Do a dungeon, kill a boss, loot an upgrade, go into a higher dungeon, kill a harder boss , loot upgrade... Each level of dungeon needs to have a gear-requirement from the previous difficulty of dungeon, can't raid Operations if you haven't cleared Hard Flashpoints, can't clear hard if you haven't cleared veteran. I haven't seen ONE UPGRADE from my commandcrates in 10ranks now, i did a Flashpoint yesterday after the update, didn't get anything that wasn't vendorcrap.. so much for "making flashpoints viable in 5.1". GG rip swtor. Sub ends 2017-02-11.

  12. I like content that INSTANTLY rewards me with stuff that makes my character better, i don't like content that gives me tokens, then i need xx tokens for a single piece of gear.. thats INDIRECT rewards.
  13. When someone takes a piss on me, i'm not going to pretend it's raining. Thus when a developer acts like their head is up their rectum, i'm not going to be polite about that either. Respect is earned. The devs has had ample input and feedback over the past 5+ years and has plenty of time to get the game on track, yet they keep releasing updates that loses players . Question: Why should i subscribe to a game where only 10% of the content is worth playing for me !?.
  14. Go figure... they're currently hated or seriously disliked at the moment, with players calling the developers incompetent in thread after thread - with all rights. We're yet another update into the game, an update that only managed to make the game even worse, more of the same grind... grind in more places to get the same items. Yet Ben and Biowares Absence of the forums is clear, probably avoiding flak of they just don't know how to cook up a statement that doesn't make them look stupid, but they did that very well on their own. The playerbase is failing in the game, and you have the worst F2P-model out of all mmo's where F2P players doesn't even get gear rewarded for their missions... what kind of mmo has a F2P model where you need to pay to get gear-rewards for simple missions ?. It feels like speaking to a wall currently, but if Ben and Bioware continues to ignore the players and run their own course, the course will see this game dead within a year and the "new content" planned for dec 2017 will be canceled or heavily delayed. /gg SWTOR - Rip.
  15. Don't you see the problem here ?. If the sorcs/sages gets buffed with more damage, they'll be even more overpowered in pvp. If the Juggernaut gets nerfed, they become even more a laughingstock in pvp. If you want a range dps for pve, why not roll an inquisitor, Commando, Bountyhunter, sniper... Yes i agree that the word Sorcerer implies range dps. But think of it this way. Currently a Sorcerer with dps-spec can utterly destroy classes in pvp while still being able to outlast them, and you want to give them MORE damage?.
  16. Bioware could use some competent developers overall. Classes gone from slightly underperforming to ****** warzones in 1 update.. nice work there. Content that is 90% useless and waste of time playing at Max level. Taking months to fix overpowered classes, meanwhile players are leaving in droves. you'd think that a company like Bioware would have Devs that didn't take months to sort out some simply issues that greatly needed fixing. After a game has been up for 5+ years, you'd think they actually knew more. I'd love to have a recorder at Biowares SWTOR-office and record all their meetings for public releases.

Considering all the information, requests and feedback from the players, yet the devs keep making the game worse with each update, i'm pretty sure they're actually out to ruin the game and chase away players until the populations is so low that EA can close all servers. If i were a developer for this game, i would take it as a moral obligation to leak as much information as possible about Bioware and the devs intentions towards this game. I never could work for an employer who isn't looking out for the best for its customers. Imagine if all businesses were ran like this?, 95% of them would lose their customerbase in a few weeks. Sofar i haven't seen ONE open communication between the devs and the players. Mostly it's been... Players - We'd like these changes to make the game more appealing and fun.. Devs - After reading all your feedback, we decided to make these changes to the game. Players - Those changes, changes nothing, non of the suggestions we made are in the patchnotes. Devs - We are pretty sure these changes will give players more freedom how to gear up. Players - No changes really, more of the same grind in different locations. Devs - We also took feedback about your class and made some small adjustments to them. Players - Classes that were completely underpowered and underperfoming are not impossible to kill.. Devs - We appreciate all feedback and will release a fix in the near future of 12 months...
  18. Just ran The False Emperor and got pretty much nothing as reward. A few credits, a few green and blue pieces of armor that was vendorcrap. 4 CXP tokens which didn't do much.. No upgrades from my CXP-crate gear. I was hoping this update would make more then Operations worth doing, but clearly you devs missed the memo that players has been asking for more content that is worth doing . I've barely played this game 1 month now, and already i have seen the CLEAR DISRESPECT AND IGNORANCE towards your paying customers. How do you intend on keeping SWTOR alive when you clearly have no intention of trying to fix the game for the better and attract more players?.
  19. Sorry, but until you've played Juggernaut in PvP, you have no right to complain. I play Juggernaut and i can tell you there is not a single class my Rage-jugg can 1v1 if both are damage-spec. All other classes far out-survive me, with great selfhealing and if not burst, then great overtime damage that grinds down my health. Try playing a Juggernaut 1v1, then come back and complain that your Sorc needs a buff.
  20. Currently in a wz with 3 sages on the enemy team. 2 sages alone makes it IMPOSSIBLE to kill anyone of the enemy team. I have no idea how a developer that screws up balance, this badly, can still manage to find a job as programmer !. There is NO WAY this was tested prior to release, making Sages/Sorcs Mercs/commandos this overpowered. I wonder if the devs has ever heard of SMALL STEPS in terms of balancing, also you don't need 3-4 months to REBALANCE a class, you do small changes to the code that affets the numbers of the abilties then test it. You dont make MAJOR CHANGES to a class and thus turning them darn near impossible to kill and a complete and utter unstoppable force when teamed up with a similar class. Giving healers the ability to tank better then tanks, dps at the same time, heal the entire team AND go invulnerable. Welcome to SWTOR - Age of Healers. Until Bioware hires a dev compentent enough to fix the balance PROPERLY !.
  21. I've seen that alot lately. Commandos and merc ripping everything apart. I can jump a Commando and within 3-4 seconds i am down to 50% health in a 1v1, i pop all my defensive CD+health and they still take me down in a few seconds after the CD are out of duration, while the commando/merc are at 100% health. I've seen dps-sorcs 1v1 my Rage-jugger and destroy him, eventho my rotation is considered the now highest dps rotation for a juggernaut... dead in a few seconds while the sorc/sage just heals up while grinding me down fast. I'm willing to bet that 1v1, the developers couldn't win with a juggernaut against any other class in dps-setup.
  22. Currently hands down THE weakest 1v1 class in the game. Easily CC'd and without much defensive skills or high dps, even as full rage build with dps-gear, they don't come close to burning down enemies of any class 1v1. And the Juggernaut-part of the class is totally missing since we are worse at out-lasting most other opponents. DPS-mercs and sages/sorcs can EASILY out-last and kill Juggernauts. So if you're saying that the game isn't about 1v1, then there is NO reason to why other classes should outshine the juggers in 1v1 when juggers clearly doesn't bring much in teamcombat even.. burned down easily in seconds with a dps that is stopped by the simplest CC. I DARE any Developer to take a Juggernaut of similar gear against ANY other class by a similar skilled opponent and gear, and win 1v1, then tell me the class is working as intended. When it's easier to kill a Juggernaut in a teamfight then a healer, you have seriously messed up the balance and removed the "tank" part of the tank-class, compared to the healer. Maybe Biowares devs wants healers to tank in dungeons now !?. They they are obviously outlasting them in pvp without problems.
  23. I only started playing barely 3 weeks ago so i'm not multimilionarie, i got a few... I have been checking the market daily for items to mod my saber but prices are so high on Progenitor, even a simple L70 230Rating mod costs millions.. My current saber is Blue Synthonium Onslaught Lightsaber. 769-1153 damage. 370 Mastery. 389 Endurance. 183 Power. 160 Crit. 1538 Force. 220 Rating. So how do i go about modding my Revanite Mk2 Lightsaber to exceed my current without spending millions?. Considering that i bought my current for under 200k... If i'm going to be spending my savings on the new lightsaber, i expect it to exceed my old one by the same amount as the difference in price. I've done my fair share of PvP and so i have access to the crystals for 200k, but that's it, no one i know has any type of crafting to give me "friendly" prices on mods for the modding.
  24. Wait a minute... Think about what you're saying. A company that made 4.2 BILLION DOLLARS cant set aside a few million to fix their mmo that cost 400mil to create?. That's 4.200.000.000 dollars, not some petty hotdogstand income. The FACT is, EA doesn't appear to WANT TO fix their game. Don't tell me SWTOR doens't have the "budget" when the company made more 12x as much money in a year then it cost to develope the entire game in 6-7 years.
