  1. Great to see there is still support for this thread! Been a lot of neat items added to the cartel market as of late, so maybe we'll have our Neo-crusader armor soon.
  2. I finally saw fit to throw in another post on this forum. I've heard a few replies from Bioware, saying there certainly should be a Neo-crusader armour, that it is a priority. But apparently not over such vital sets like the sand people armor! Lord knows that was a high priority! Or giving the droids a tuxedo! We can't have them running around naked now can we? No that privilege belongs to the players, now that nudists can finally display their passionate hatred towards pants, all thanks to the cartel market. And now with this Kree event, we can finally dress up like everyone's favourite star wars character, Tron! So here is me asking again, for Bioware to simply add the Mandalorian armor that they already have in the game. It would be a lot less work, and a lot less immersion breaking. Please?
  3. Exactly, they'd even have to put less work into it than they have with most cartel items. But thus far they seem to favouring the Sith and Jedi. A shame but hardly a surprise, considering Bioware seems to have favored the force users over any other class in the game sense launch. But hopefully in time and enough attention to threads like this, maybe that will be resolved.
  4. Greetings. Long has the topic of different species been discussed. And as a lover of alien species, I have had my hopes crushed, time and time again. It seems as though I will never be able to play a Trandoshan... But then, here comes the cartel Market! Also I saw this item called Dread Guard’s Corrupted Mask. Which looked very alien in apperance. It was then I thought of a idea! Alien masks! Trandoshan, Rodian, Gran, all the aliens in the game you might want to play as, suddenly become available through the cartel market. Make it a item instead. Now you don't need a lore explanation as to why no one reacts to differently to a Trandoshan standing amongst the Imperial ranks. No longer will they have to design a whole new class or add all new voice actors into the game. http://www.jason-minor.com/artwork/3d/swtor_trandoshan_lowpoly.jpg If you wish to support this idea, please comment!
  5. Good to see there are people as passionate about this as I. Your support of this thread is much appreciated. I did hear a few new items have been added to the test server. Though sense I spent my cartel points already I can't see if any of it is Mandalorian. Which is a shame. Still it does give me hope that it is in there, or may be added at a later time.... hopefully at the launch of the cartel market!
  6. Yeah they were pretty awesome. One of the main reasons I don't mind Kotor 2, is because it spent a lot of time developing the Mandalorians. The first game did it as well, but the second had more varied examples and showed different view points of their life style.
  7. There actually is a fairly nice red and black set in the game. But it is of the same design as the scrapy looking thing I linked. Though sense its black rather than brown. It still looks like crap but less so at least.
  8. Great to see so much support. With views coming close to 300, I hope just one person from bioware read this.
  9. I have been checking out the cartel points and many of the items and features you can get for them. It seems fair enough. I don't find anything wrong with it and I will continue subscribing after the games goes free to play, with the added bonus of a new RP item each month for my cartel points. However as I went through the various armours and clothing in the market, I noticed a startling lack of Mandalorian armour. Ever sense the game launched there has been a lack of proper Mandalorian armour. Sure you can get rather close. http://i45.tinypic.com/352qmab.jpg But as you can see on the picture it is far from the real thing. It looks like its been handed down a few to many times and I dread to imagine the smell. So I was hoping there would be some kind of Mandalorian set on the cartel market. Sadly that was not the case. So I made this post in hopes that one or more might be added. I imagine there are more than me who would like this, sense Mandalorian is the most popular thing to RP as a bounty hunter. Also I imagine it wouldn't take much effort to add it, sense it clearly is in the game! You see NCP's walk around in it all the time. I don't even demand any special stats! Just call it the Neo-crusader armor, with empty mod and armouring sockets and I'd buy it! http://i46.tinypic.com/zmecgg.jpg Where I feel I may be a bit greedy is in the colouring department. I myself would prefer a red armor. But I'd also like to see more colours. Still I'd imagine that wouldn't be to hard to do. I made these in a little under 5 minutes. So changing the colours of the original textures shouldn't be to hard. If you would also like to see the Mandalorian neo-crusader armor added, let your voice be heard and comment on this thread!
  10. Amen to that, brother. We can only hope this reaches Bioware.... Lord know they shut down my thread on the matter in less than 10 minutes so hopefully their at least paying attention to the thread they sent me off to.
  11. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! I love RP and PvP, but lord knows SWTOR don't exactly have a booming world pvp crowd, so if I have to give up on one, it would be PVP. It does not seem like it would be difficult to give us the option between either or. So why they haven't baffles me.
  12. I have come to lend my aid in this effort! SWTOR need more alien races... And I mean real alien races, not just colored humans with things stucking out of their head.... Preferibly the Trandoshans in my book. I would however also settle with the Gormak. The Republic can have the lame voss. The empire can have the awesome Gormak. Seems fair to everyone? Great!
  13. I would like Trandoshans. Though on the subject of Voss, I would also be happy with the Gormak. Really any race that dosen't look like a human in makeup... Aside from the Rodians... I'd never play as one of them!
  14. I agree. I don't think you'd have to rewrite to much seeing as Trandoshans and such, while weird to us is a common place in the galaxy. Every time I've seen the Trandoshan's in a novel or even in the movie it wasn't really made a big deal out of. Sure that one Imperial gave Bossk a funny look, but they already kind of have that in the game if you are a Alien.
  15. Which is fair enough. I know why they were not there in the launch, but sense they have undoubtedly recived a ungodly amount of money, so why can't they do add more animations now? I know, I know this would be to much work.... WHICH REINFORCES MY POINT! Make them a legacy thing. The Trandoshan can't use light sabers? Well that kind of sucks... Which is why they'd be a bounty hunter race only, if you done all the bounty hunters story quest up to level 50. Let the Jedi have the Togrutas and the Sith the Nautoleans. Problem solved.
