  1. What I find interesting that things like chapter 12 and fight(s) with Arcann are more geared towards force-users, yet the companion who appear in the main storyline are mainly non-force users companions. Agents has Kalyio and Scorpio, BH has Gault and Torian, Trooper Aric Jorgan... Sure, there is T-07 and Vette, but they play more minor role in story, it seems. And Consular and Inquisitor have only Alliance alerts so far. Although true, Smuggler also has only Alliance alerts. But especially the storyline with Scorpio feels better when playing as Agent, because you have that background, you know more about her than others, how she came to be.
  2. Yeah, I also think Thexan will appear... If not alive, than maybe as a Force Ghost? I was honestly surprised when he didn't appear in KOTFE. Like, the whole long cinematics is about two brothers, he is constantly mentioned by other NPCs (like Vaylin, but also random NPCs on street of Zakuul)... It feels like foreshadowing. If he doesn't appear in some capacity, it will be a missed opportunity.
  3. So, I just finished chapter 9 for the first time, got a brand new Alliance and plenty of side quests where I am supposed to fetch new companions, do star fortresses, etc. And NPCs talk about how we need more people, supplies, etc. So, my question is, should I do those side quests or can I go directly to chapter 10? Will skiping them have some negative effect on the story? Like in ME3, where you only got the "shepard is alive" ending when you reached a certain level of battle readiness? Or is it any way mentioned in the story, like you get different lines if you are prepared and done all those quests and when you haven't? I want to have the best ending possible, but some of those quest are soooo full of grind its painful. Thanks for help.
  4. Regarding Quesh, there is no approval gain (or loss) during the planet storyline on ALL companions on all classes. So, it's not a Quinn thing, just for some reason, comps don't care about Quesh.
  5. Nope, talking about the armor you got from the packs. I got Revan Reborn lower set and other armor sets, for example, but they don't appear in my collections. They should be usable in collections, according to other users here, so it's most probably a bug.
  6. It's possible the thing with collections is a bug, but beware, if you got some pieces of armor from DvL event (as in, the packs mailed to you when you reach certain achievements) then those don't apply in collections by design, as far as I know.
  7. Thank you, that's why I was asking about. I noticed that while it took FOREVER to get companion to affection level 10, influence goes much much faster from conversation + much more gifts in loot, etc. My Kaylio is influence level 20 and I only finished four worlds... So they probably scrapped some choices giving affection and its intentional.
  8. I am not talking about getting influence while in conversation, tho? I am talking about the fact, that in the previous version of game, certain choices gave you affection, while now you don't get any influence for the same decisions. And I wonder if its intended (like, they reworked the system, so some choices dont give you the influence) or if its a bug.
  9. Well, I did get light side points, but no points of influence and no "vector approves". Since choices I picked used to give affection, I wonder if it got intentionally changed or if its a bug.
  10. So I was playing as an Imperial Agent and played a class story mission, with Vector as my companion. I watched a youtube video of someone playing said mission so I knew which choices best fit my character. In the video, light side choice was picked and Vector got about 250 points of affection (the video was from the time before influence). When I played my char and picked the same option, there wasn't any influence gain from Vector. (even tho i did get "vector approves" previously during class missions) So now I wonder, is it intended? Were the options which give the companion influence changed along with the implementation of influence? Or its a bug? It was the conversation at the end of chapter one with the final boss of the chapter, btw.
  11. So far, I have experienced the Vector romance and Doc romance, and parts of Andronikus romance... (and, well, Corso Riggs, blergh) (some minor spoilers regarding the romance, of course) Hm, they are not bad. Vector is sweet, but I really don't like his face (even without the bug eyes) and the bug thing kind of creeped me out. He also didn't match very well with my agent, her flirting and remarks were simply terrible... I am really sad they made his character like this (the bug thing), if he was simply a diplomat who is thrown in secrecy and imperial agent bussines, I would enjoy it far more. *sigh* Doc was really a suprise for me. I heard a lot of people complaining about him, but he is great. When I saw his face at first, I thought he was ugly, but he grew on me. Anyway, the best part of this romance is humor. I died laughing almost every conversation I had with him and I really cried (from laughter, mind you, because his way of handling things was simply hilarious) when we got married... He is a perfect match for my knight. I still always use him in fights and I love his remarks. His change from unfaithful womanizer to dedicated husband was kind of sudden, but it pleased me anyway. It was worth those few dark side points... Andronikus suprised me too. His face is not something I would like to stare at every day, but damn, that deep voice... And again, he is perfect match for my inquisitor. It's a really different romance from those I had previously and I enjoy it greatly. And I really like that my character is in charge in this relationship and this shows. Corso Riggs... Don't even get me started on this guy. He is the reason why I can't get into playing smuggler, altough I love the story and my character. He IS TERRIBLE. I hate his attitude and the way he treats my smuggler. I can't shake the feeling he is sexist and some of the conversations were simply a torture... My captain is a woman who takes no ****, not some kind of fragile princess who need to have doors opened! Seriously. And losing points for flirting when we aren't even dating... What the hell. I wouldn't mind if the male smuggler lost points for flirting too That would mean Corso is just a prude in general, like you lose points for flirting with Aric Jordan, because he thinks you are being unprofessional... But when male smuggler flirts, Corso even encourages him. ARRRGH. And he is the only option... Why. I would rather kiss a wookie, to quote a certain princess. (which maybe could be arranged, since the next companion is a wookie... never mind.) He is jealous, annoying and his "chivalry" is sexist and pisses me off. I haven't met Irreso and Torian yet and Quinn seems kind of boring... Aric is nice, but I haven't reached the flirting point with him yet, I heard it happens very late in game. Which I appreciate, Corso could take a note.
  12. Well, it could be done that you get stronghold only after finishing Voss planetary quest (after that, Voss respect you, so they would probably give you a house ) or when you have certain amount of Voss reputation points? I also forgot about Alderaan. I don't enjoy quests there, but the skyline looks beautiful. It could also be awarded for doing planetary guest, you would get either Organa stronghold, or Thul Stronghold... (which would look the same, only with different colors, maybe?) Well, we will see. Maanan stronghold wouldn't be bad either, but that won't happen. (imagine watching sharks from your windows...)
  13. We of course had the chance to look at them thanks to videos, but now we can finally visit them in game. I am not asking where do you plan to live, but which stronghold do you appreciate the most aesthetically. Especially when you look out of the window or balcony and the way doors and walls look like, etc. I guess Tatooine has the best atmosphere, with the sunset and possibility of going outside. It really feels like an actual place. On the other hand, Naar Shaada just seems... weird. And ugly. Dromund Kass is better than Coruscant in my opinion, the rain really looks beautiful. But still, I am a little bit dissapointed with the visuals. I hope that in future, if some more strongholds are introduced, we will get them on some plantes with more green. I hoped I would be able to see forest (at least on Dromund Kass, I know it's stupid to expect forests on Coruscant or Naar Shaada) It's all only city and city... or desert. And that desert even looks better than the city. I know it's logical to place strongholds on planets with lot of cities, but our character are heroes and adventurers. I am sure they wouldn't mind some more dangerous places... Well, not Hoth, but Voss would be incredible to live on, it has such a beautiful atmosphere. Belsavis too, although you would have to be a convict. What do you think? Which stronghold do you like the best and where would you want to live in future?
  14. But you don't have to return to fleet to buy furniture at all? If you did the stronghold quest (the hologram on the fleet), you get some furniture for free and then later in a mail, you get a NPC that sells furniture which you can put in your stronghold. You also get three droids in the mail which trade those prefabricated MK whatever for furniture. (those droids you also put in your stronghold) You don't have to move from your stronghold at all... And you can of course buy some furniture on Cartel Market... You have to return to fleet if you want to buy some twi'lek dancers or something, but for basic furniture and crafted parts, nope. I guess the problem is that you probably didn't do the stronghold quest. (it's ridiculously easy, just listening for some hologram for a while and then going into your stronghold, and that's all) Otherwise, I am a little bit dissapointed by the hooks and ways of putting on the furniture, but I guess I shouldn't have expected sims 3 or something. The thing that bugs me most is that you can't interact with the furniture, for example sit on the chair or lie in the bed or whatever. So it seems kind of pointless. But I like the visuals of the houses, especially Dromund Kass and Tatooine (Naar Shaada is quite terrible in my opinion) and I think that guild ships and conquests are great.
  15. I actually like the prequels. Not more than original trilogy, but I still think they are worth watching. Sure, some parts are terrible, particulary Jar Jar, writings of some dialogues (especially romantic one and especially in episode II) and those horrible padawan hairdos, but otherwise... I like them. When I do the Star Wars rewatch, I watch all the films. I think that they have amazing saber duels, Obi-Wan is perfect character (Ewan McGregor did a great job) and Hayden Christensen really improved in episode III. I think that his horrible acting in episode II was more result of two things - that hairdo and George's horrible romantic dialogues... No actor could have done a good job with such things as "I hate sand". And of course, Padmé is also played marvelously and she is interesting character, especially in episode I. And I am really looking forward to episode VII. Let's say I am optimist.
  16. Yeah, same thing happens to me too. I vividly recall one quest on Corusant with corrupt senator and slave chips. His servant talks about how the senator cares about his people and one of your responses is "I am sure he does." It sounds so obviously ironic... And then I pick it and my character (unironically) says: "He sounds like a great man." I picked this answer by accident at least three times with different characters, always thinking it would be sarcasm. There is a sarcastic answer, but under the "Give me a break", which doesn't really hint to sarcasm, more like: "Go to hell". And I have also problems playing my consular. Qyzen likes aggresive "Let's kill everyone" options. I see my consular more as a pacifist, but she does hate slavers and such, so sometimes, I pick those answers. And then I get: "Sometimes, violence is the only solution!" , which is exactly what my consular doesn't think... Sigh.
  17. I think that would be possible, but that Jedi would have to be someone who is not fully light side and not following the code. (for example, someone like Anakin) There is no such thing as ambitious jedi. The moment you start thinking about "greater good", you start falling to dark side. Political coup by someone who is faithful to Jedi code is impossible, because it goes against all Jedi believe in. (and I would say even against Jedi code...) Jedi are servants, not rulers and they can't never become rulers. But yes, it would be possible, because not all Jedi are perfect and if they honestly believed they are doing it for "good of people", they would do it. But the whole Jedi council would never approved it and would surely excomunicate them from the order. Count Dooku had to leave the order to become political leader. This path is surely path to the darkside. Once a Jedi takes position of power, it can never end up well.
  18. Lady, actually. And you are welcome. Clone Wars are certainly worth watching, even despite some honestly terrible and boring episodes. (who thought it was a good idea to make episodes with jar jar, seriously?) If you are interested in Asajj, there are some episodes about her which I didn't mention: Massacre (season 4, ep. 19) and Bounty (season 4, ep. 20). They are Asajj centric and if you want to watch them, they should be watched before Brothers story arc. Bounty is quite a good episode, there are bounty hunters, along with Boba Fett. But, maybe I should warn you regarding zabraks - their origin and story is different than in TOR, or how to put it. You will see.
  19. Hm, I would say it starts getting better in the third series. (but still, even in fifth season, there are some episodes that I found really boring - however, it's much smaller number than in first two seasons.) The whole series gets darker and in some episodes, i was even wondering how could they call it a kid show. I usually watch everything, but I look up the content of the episode sometimes and if it looks boring or unwatchable (for example, Jar Jar is in it or it's a droid episode), I just skip it. There are lot of episodes where Ashoka doesn't even make appearance or just minor one, If you find her annoying. http://www.nexusroute.co.uk/the-clone-wars-chronological-order (all the episodes with synopsis and concept art) You could probably watch only the good episodes and skip others, you won't really miss anything important. In later seasons, there are "story arcs", usually three or four episodes with one story, which need to be watched in order, but otherwise, no problem. Some episodes which I would say are good or interesting to watch: (only from seasons 3 and 4, since you watched the first two and I haven't watched the whole season 5 and 6) ARC Troopers (season 3, ep. 2) - clone troopers and Shaak Ti Hunt for Ziiro (season 3, ep. 9) - Quilan Vos makes an appearance in this Nightsisters arc (season 3, ep. 12, 13, 14) - about Assaj Ventress, Witches of Dathomir and Zabraks Overlords arc (season 3, ep. 15, 16, 17) - very dark and good episodes with lot of lore regarding force and dark and light side, brings in really interesting concepts, explores the prophecy of chosen one and "balance of the force" Citadel Arc (season 3, ep .18, 19, 20) - prison break, jedi master Piell, Tarkin Padawan Lost arc (season 3, ep. 21, 22) - cameo from Old trilogy, however, it's mostly about Ashoka, so if you hate her, don't watch this. But I think they are good episodes. Darkness on Umbara arc (season 4, ep. 7, 8, 9, 10) - extremely good story arc, one of the best in clone wars, very dark. Clone troopers have to deal with cruel and uncompromising general, who doesn't see them as people. Slave arc (season 4, ep. 11, 12, 13) - undercover, torture, slavery and other happy stuff Deception arc (season 4, ep. 15, 16, 17, 18 ) - another extremely good story arc, deals with underworld and bounty hunters, Obi-wan is amazingly ****** in this Brothers arc (s. 4, ep. 21, 22) - (spoiler) Darth Maul returns So far, I would say that Overlords arc, Darkness on Umbara and Deception arc are the best story arcs so far and really worth watching. (but, as with everything, it depends on taste)
  20. Thank you, fellow citizen of the Czech republic. That's great, I was worried it wouldn't change.
  21. I had a human sorcerer and because I got tired of the look, I changed it to Twi'lek on appearence designer. Now, I know that when you play an alien, some NPCs treat you differently - especially in Empire, like "you dirty alien", etc. and you also have different responses to some things. I wonder whether the game acknowledges you changed the race. Will NPCs act like I am alien? Or will I be still treated like human? Thanks for answers.
  22. I understad how primary stats (e.g. aim) works, but I am still lost concerning secondary stats (e.g. power, critical rating, accuracy, etc.) I am not sure if they are very important and if I should pay close attention to them or if they are only something I should bother with when I am 50+ level... And I don't have a clue which secondary stat I should give a priority. What it depends on? Roles, like if my character is DPS, Tank or Healer? Or if he uses meele or ranged weapons? Or it depends on advanced class? And should I concetrate on one secondary stat or more? Any help would be appreciated.
  23. It sounds awesome. Too good to be true, I am afraid. But if something like it really happened, i would cry with joy.
  24. Well, as almost everyone said, the best book to read first is probably the Thrawn trilogy, the first book is called Heir to the Empire.
