  1. You should have gotten 1050 cartel coins, at least that's what I received for having bought the expansion about a month before this change. Check your cartel coin ledger.
  2. Ok I am completely confused about this, had an issue in game with the Codex so I submitted a ticket. Reply was that I needed to do a bug report. Great, not a problem. Did the /bug like they told me to, and then I get another Customer Service reply to that. So does /bug work in game like it is supposed to? On the slim hope that this will even reach someone that can do anything about it I will post the issue. Certain codex entries are not being applied, an example of this is the [Heroic 2] The Hate Machine mission on Korriban. Once completed and turned in the Codex entry Achievement: Titles - Imperial Scholar, should be entered into the character Codex and it is not. There are a multitude of bugs with the Codex like this that have been around since the game launched, I know since I was part of the pre-order early week of play before the game officially launched and this bug was there back then. Not a game breaking bug, but it does make people wonder if you are even trying to fix some of these things that have been around this long, and that affect people trying to fill out their Codex.
  3. Sincerely to the entire Bioware team, Thank You.
  4. It is not the $15, that is not the point, the point is that people who have consistently paid their subscription but do not yet have a level 50 are point blank being told they are not most loyal. They get an in-game pet, which everyone gets if they have an active subscription. Game has been out since December 20th, 2011 and is only 4 months old. How can someone not have a level 50 yet? Well here is why I don't, maybe it will help you see how it can happen. Started on a server the day I was granted access for early release, got to level 12 and could never get back on the server due to incredibly high wait times. Would be in queue so long and then get disconnected, which dropped me from queue. Rerolled on another server, enjoyed the story and wanted to experience everything I could; people rushed to 50 and got bored/upset with the content there so server died out pretty quickly. Rerolled on a couple of other servers looking for what people would call a healthy server, got several characters up to the 15-20 range trying to see if it was possible to get groups together for flashpoints, heroics etc. Finally found an active server, and a guild of people that I mesh well with and like. I was playing powertech and at level 32, when I participated in a conversation in guild about how their EV run went. Through this conversation I found out that they were lacking dps that wasn't merc or sorcerer, so being a generally nice person I offered to roll a sniper. As of the free 30 day offer time limit that sniper is level 39. Despite going through 4 or so dead servers, despite encountering and reporting a dozen or so bugs, I continued to play and pay. I qualified for the founders title before they even brought up the idea of founders title. I have helped people in game by answering numerous questions that I had found the answer to through some of the beta testing I got to do, I have directed people to the website for direct answers to stuff posted by the devs so that people can't lead them astray. Bioware then openly states that their most loyal players are those that have a level 50, not those who stuck around through a lot of "growing pains" of the early game what with dead servers and numerous bugs still hampering gameplay. Can you not see why I might take offense to that? My account is up for renewal in 7 days, as is my wife's who also does not have a level 50 because of everything I have posted, and as of right now since I do not feel they value my business I will be going elsewhere.
  5. No, not an ultimatum. it is a statement of fact. I financially support companies that appreciate my business. Stayed with the same computer retailer for 20 years because they showed they appreciated the repeat business by doing little things, not charging me the shipping fee when a laptop had to be sent back due to a defective keyboard that started to warp. It was only $20.00, which I would have gladly paid due to the service they provide, but they wrote it off. I had to restart on new servers to find people to play with due to the servers going dead from people rushing to 50 in the first couple of weeks then quitting because they were bored or upset about unbalanced level 50 content. I was prepared to spend a long time with the guild I am in, which is why I was more then willing to start a pure dps class since they had lots of tanks and healers. I have submitted several bug reports in my time here to help, I have helped people by answering questions and directing to the forums for answers that the developers had posted. Saying that I am not a valued customer because I do not yet have a level 50, despite never having unsubscribed since launch means exactly that; I am not valued as a customer. So why should I continue to support a company that openly states I do not count?
  6. I've been playing since early access, have not had any actions taken against my account for any type of bad behavior, and have never cancelled the subscription. Yet despite all of this I am not a valued customer because I do not have a level 50? I've had to restart on different servers, twice because server was busy at launch and then they died off to next to no one on. I've finally found a server that is healthy, a guild that I enjoy, and because they needed pure dps class I started a sniper even though my powertech was level 32. Yet I am not a valued customer because things like dead servers, or being nice to help a guild that I like, has stopped me from being level 50? Sorry, but that is just bad form on Bioware's part. You encourage people to play alts; then it seems you punish those who do and take their time to enjoy what you worked so hard to provide, the story. So as a thank you for not providing me a free month, my gift to you will be you not getting my money. If you had given me, a paying customer since launch day but without a level 50, the same regard you are giving those who have a level 50; then you would have continued to receive my financial support after that free month. Since you don't feel that I am a valued customer, then I won't burden you with my money.
  7. For both classes they get the base Imperial Agent attacks, both will have snipe, shiv, and the like. For snipers they get different shots, such as ambush which is a hard hit on a 15s cooldown. There are other ones, just can't remember the names right now. They are a more distance fighter overall. They have no healing abilities at all. The skill trees are all dps (damage) oriented. They can be an in close fighter with the Lethality tree. For operatives they have stealth, heals, and more attacks with the vibroknife. They still have the option of being more of a ranged dps class with one of the skill trees, while they also can be full healer, or in close dps using the Lethality tree (which is shared with the snipers). It really depends on how you want to play. I currently have a 33 sniper and I enjoy it. It can be rough without a heal, but there is always the biochem crew skill to get powerful med packs that can apply a small heal over time effect after it's initial health boost. Someone in my guild has a 26 operative, and he's having a blast stabbing things from stealth. If you want to have a self heal, then operative would be the way you want to go. Hope this helps.
  8. Kicking back and relaxing, checking the boards every couple of hours to chuckle at all the whiners. Playing Skyrim between forum checks.
