This thread has railed off into the politics of gambling and I'm not going to get into it. To the individuals who stated I should 'unsub, quit and get help' ... I quite enjoy the game. To me, it is the best MMO in years -and keeping in with other announced releases- for many more to come as well. My post was not an attempt at blaming EA/BioWare for their system, nor to change the world for me but a humble cry out to help block me -if possible- from purchasing these items through cc and in-game credits ever again as it was ruining my mood and killing my experience... if not cartel coins, everyday I was constantly becoming wiped of my in-game credits, unable to even get repairs for my characters broken equipment and as soon as the cartel coins or credits raked in again I was rushing to purchase these packs again. The only thing that's keeping me from hitting rock-bottom depression here is the idea that my 'gambling' habbits here is somehow supporting the developers for future content. Thank you.

Cartel Coins aside, what about purchasing them with credits? I've wasted millions of credits on the packs and I still keep purchasing them every time I have enough thus leaving me with nothing else to spend on. I couldn't even pay for repairs yesterday lol... I don't even know what I'm trying to get out of them. In regards to Customer Service, there are still a ton of other issues I need resolved. The game is clearly a success, I don't understand why they don't invest more of it back into content, techs, marketing and customer support representatives

Dear to whom it may concern, I really need to be blocked from purchasing Cartel / Gamble Packs with credits and cartel coins. It's killing me... it's killing my experience. I'm sitting around low on everything, everyday. I've had a similar gambling problem in real life. I'd really appreciate it if I was banned from buying those. Thank you in advance!

SWTOR is the best MMO around, but out of curiosity what was your issue with GW2 ?

You can't expect much more from a company who - despite the resources - doesn't even market their game properly, really.

I'm also tired of seeing those automated replies. It's pretty much a one button response of "There there, live with it. If we ever get around to actually reading your issue, we may fix it once we finish counting cartel profits" They don't seem to personalize anything, leaving us to have to resubmit a new ticket.

I miss Dalborra already it was fine really... Maybe if EA/BioWare did -some- local advertisement, we wouldn't be in this mess. A few mentions on online tech websites which range from 100s to just 1000s of readers at best doesn't count. You can't expect a social media boost either. How many MMORPG players exactly use twitter for example? I still see TV advertisement for the expansion to that other game that shall not be named. The marketing guru's nailed this one. On another note, I made a mistake with my transfer and Customer Support has been non-existent. What an awful experience

After all that time eager for transfers to happen, I'm left unorganized and undecided on which server to go to. Lol.

Hello, I just noticed 'This modification is restricted to a specific of equipment is not valid for the target item!' applying to off-set pieces (belt, bracers) as well. Come on! I understand why there would be that restriction for set pieces, but having the restriction for off-set PvE to PvE items too? :-(

Since the day I began playing, I've been experiencing tons of technical issues with the game. Global Cooldown, Warzone and Flashpoint pops not showing, making me constantly restart the game to get it working, random exits and lots of other fun stuff which I'm still waiting on a fix for, but today I encountered this....... http://i.imgur.com/Q30u7CM.jpg the heck happened to the game? lol

No offense to anybody, but why do some think it's possible to merge all the APAC servers when Australian internet infrastructure is inferior to even hold up a full load (to US standards) for a single server? Heck, they're at burst when even hosting 64/64 Battlefield 3 servers. This isn't about server play types, we need to face the fact that Australia lacks the technology, and that this is not BW's fault.

I can't find it, but there is a BioWare post stating that there will be choice for individuals to choose where they transfer to within a certain amount of time. The general server merge between the corresponding server types however will still happen and I think that's what you're referring to. I'd like to hear more about the West Coast servers Thank you for your inputs.

I'm currently anticipating the APAC server merging and wanted to hear from server locals. Which server has the greater community? In the past, I've found RP-PvP servers to be the most enjoyable environments while PvE servers the most hostile. --Friendly--, mature but --fun-- environments are key. Thank you for any input.

The server merges need to happen ASAP. I'm not sure people notice, but the APAC servers are just awful and impossible to transfer into a mega server let alone carry a full load in it's current state, so in comparison to the US mega servers and even with the latency in mind, the US mega servers are better for all oceanic players. Eagerly awaiting the opportunity to choose which US server to transfer to. An estimated date now would be nice.
