You can giver her gifts, ya know I do find the Kira/Nadia romance arcs a bit creepy. They're both your padawan and come off as being 12, especially Nadia!

Does it infuriate anyone else that if one member of your party enters combat, EVERYONE enters combat? And if you're in a flashpoint, it doesn't seem to matter how far away from the combat you are, you're in it? Yeah, it annoys me. It annoys me a lot

Tharan (and Holiday) - Love him. His comments are usually pretty hilarious on missions, and holiday is so over the top she makes me giggle. The last conversation I had with him was a bit . . . odd. . . and I'm not sure what to think of the whole holo-sexual thing they have going on, but I hope BioWare progresses the two of them more. Nadia - She's a bit cliche, but for the most part I like her. I'm very interested to see how she progresses as a character and really hope BioWare moves her forward depending on how you train her - does she give into her darker, more violent impulses and try pushing you and herself to be more of a vigilant type? Or does she actually progress towards the Jedi code? Qyzen - For the most part I like him, but I haven't run with him much. I'm not terribly keen on the whole wookie murdering, but I dig the hunter culture and the very tribal feel you get from him. Zenith - Not much to say about this guy really. I can't say I'd like him as a politician, but he does make a pretty good security officer type. On another play through I may try bringing him along with me more to get to know him better. Iresso - Playing as a female JC this guy comes onto you WAY early and as a result I've just stopped talking to him. Is he interesting? I dunno, he's a lousy flirt, that's for sure.

I'd love Hallow Voice or one of the other Esh-Ka as a run around companion, only I see him being too similar to Qyzen game play wise. I did enjoy the quest chain to obtain this dude aboard my ship and feel better connected to him than half my real companions (Zenith, Iresso...) Jedi Consular, by the way. EDIT: I'm liking Captain Drizan from Corellia so far as well, but I haven't finished that section of the chain yet. Maybe even a turned over child of the emperor :-)

I can't even bring myself to talk to Iresso, he starts out hitting on you way to early. 's like "I don't even know you mate, why are you acting like we have something going?!" However, I really think there is something creepy about going for your padawan. In both Kira and Nadia's case, they seem like they're 12 or something, its crossing some boundaries with'em!

Trying not to be too terribly spoilerific, but I absolutely loved the ended to the Voss [Republic] world quest chain. I was pretty bored with it early on, but the choice at the end was how I feel the end to world quest chains should be, how LS/DS choices should be. It was actually very HARD to make that choice! Even now a guild mate of mine who is just finishing it up is whining to me "I don't know what to chose!" he's gone back on his decision three times now, went to dinner, and still hasn't made up his mind what to do! [ok, at the time I was writing that sentence I got a message from him that he went light!] It should be hard to make the right choice! And I feel the ended to Voss was by far the best example of this, so good job writers, good job indeed! I hope you guys continue to write fantastic choices like this, and I hope, somehow, they come back at us eventually!

I felt far more connected to Tharan than Iresso (fem romance option) in fact I kinda hate Iresso and wanted to leave him in his damn escape pod. But I am happy you liked Kira !

Why would you take Psychokinesis over Focused Insight? Not enough dot damage? I use Mind Crush on boss fights, is this considered a falicy for Shadow Tanks? Also why not put 3/3 into Mental fortitude? Is there a good tank theory crafting site/thread I should follow :X

The boss wipes the group - something explodes, they get really made (enraged) and just smash everyone, etc. I like the Deathwing enrage, the screen just goes black. There goes the world! tee hee.

I loved the JC chapter 1 story, for the most part. Alderaan was amazing, as was tatooien. Chapter 2 so far feels like but I only just started it.

I filled out a more formal bug report on the Customer service thread, in hopes that BioWare will take away Tharan's access to Rohypnol and spare future female (and possible male, you never know) Jedi Consulars the same indignity. Thank you for your support, it makes a world of difference.

So I'm a bit of a chatter, it turns out, even with my minions as I've termed to call them. I've given them many gifts, both to progress their stories and so my little band of indentured servants preform better for me on various crew missions and crafting. And I'll be honest, I do enjoy some of their commentary. This is especially true for my dear dear friend, Tharan Cedrax. He makes me laugh, that and as a Jedi Shadow speced tank, he allows me to solo amazing feats without suffering multiple deaths - he also allows my friend, a scoundrel specked healer, a break from his labors duty of keeping my leveling team alive. So, I'm nice to the guy. That being said, my character is a jedi and adheres to their silly little code (plus she just doesn't have much of an interest in Tharan beyond grinning at his various antics and trying to solve the mystery of the surprise letter) Tharan, however, seemed to have an interest in my curiously snarky jedi that went beyond the bounds of killing imperials and rescuing scientists. Unfortunately for him, my lady-like jedi did not share this interest, so when the question arouse, she politely refused his proposition with the excuse of "you have a gal - hologram - woman... thing" and breathed a sigh of relief, happy to have that flirtatious business over with. But lo! Not one gift later (he found himself a nice epic level 5 luxury item via treasure hunting, I figured the guy could use the moral boost following the gentle rejection from my high standards jedi) another conversation option appeared! And so off we went to the ship to discover what this new news there was regarding a mystery letter we'd been trying to track the source of! I get to the ship, engage in conversation and. . . . "our liaison must come to an end" At first I am wondering, "I rejected you, therefore you are leaving my crew?" but no, the conversation options suggest the third member of a non existent love triangle had discovered the plucky scientist's afair and firmly put it to an end. At which point I the confusion struck - liaison? What are you talking about my amusing and ever useful friend? Nothing happened that I recall. . . which means. . . something happened I did not recall! There was no screen to black, I'd refused Tharan's come-ons, and yet, the conversation progressed as though I had! The only option remained, he must have had this liaison in a fashion which would prevent me from knowing. . . and thus, I suspect Tharan to have slipped a little pill into my upstanding jedi's morning tea. I am a bit upset at this notion, but do not believe the blame lies with him. . .rather I suspect a mind controlling entity of the force, in other words a bug. TL:DR My female JC told Tharan, very politely, "No thanks" towards his request for "private time". Later, a conversation occurred to suggest we'd gone off and made merry. Has anyone else had this happen, am I crazy? Was my jedi taken advantage of by her minion? It would be nice, especially if this is a common bug, to be addressed I submitted a ticket in game to receive the "we've forwarded it on to some folks in some hole somewhere" response. If it makes a difference my affection with him is somewhere between 3500-4000 (my lowest companion, aside from the droid, is 2800) I am loath to continue the search for the source of the letter he received (which I suspect will give me a companion quest!) until this has been addressed. In an game which I fully plan on playing for a number of years barring death and doom, I would rather not have some aspect of my character affected by a rather unfortunate bug. This being a story driven MMO and knowing BioWare's love of choices carrying on through subsequent expansions, I would rather not, come the next expansion, be reminded "oh, remember how you slept with that Tharan guy then he dumped you?" and never have actually done it!

From what I've found, you do not have to just pick a side and stick with it. The major gear does not have a LS/DS requirement, and at lvl 400 artificing you can make relics without requirements, so they're out there. It just does add some restrictions. My JC is level 27 and still just barely LS2, my pall who only picks LS choices is LS4, I think, and I haven't had any conflicts with gearing - I just have one relic instead of two.

So far I've found it limited to stuff from the LS/DS vender, Relics, and color crystals. It's hard to find a relic that doesn't have a LS/DS requirement, which is driving me a bit nutters.

Approximately how many folks have they been letting in each hour? are they scaling that number up or down or to the side? Statistics, baby!
