  1. This is absurd. I can only believe it is one of the following scenarios: 1. You are all standing around the office with your fingers in your ears screaming "NAH NAH NAH CAN"T HEAR YOU" 2. You personally are being held hostage to this idiotic show. If so, blink 5 times in a row during tonight's stream so we can send help. 3. None of you actually play your own game and are attempting to redefine the word incompetence. You have NO QA and don't know how to actually listen and respond to people. 4. You can't admit when you are wrong and just don't have the resources to undo the damage you have caused the last couple of months. 5. You guys know you have nothing and are stretching things as far and as long as you can. Which is it? Maybe it is a little of all of them?
  2. Ignore the not so nice person. The title isn't currently in game. It showed up in the data mining but hasn't been found in live.
  3. Yeah I was lead to believe that each tier crafting was -2 and legendary was +2. So crafting 234, drops 236, legendary would be 238. It doesn't seem this is the case though.
  4. Guessing tier 3 is 240 with Gold being 242.
  5. So far the shells are the same as the 230s. I finally got a pair of 234 purple gloves. with set bonus. I guess 234 is the normal rating for tier 2. the stats are better on the mod and armoring of the 236 gold belt mods.
  6. I had decent luck in Tier 1 and ended up with 12/14 slots with 230 gear by the time I got to Tier 2. I ended up having to craft some enhancements to counter the implants and ear that I got being accuracy. Now that I am in Tier 2, I haven't gotten anything in the last 17 levels. I know people have had worse luck. As the levels get longer and longer, I find myself not wanting to bother with it. Bioware seriously needs to up the drop rate of purples. I am wondering if the drop rate is reduced each tier. Also, is tier 2 purple or gold? I got 1 gold belt when I first got tier 2.
  7. This isn't good enough. We know how well we can trust you with "chance." Every boss needs to drop at least a random appropriate tier token. All you are doing is giving us more RNG on gear.
  8. It's already out of the bag. Everyone is farming the colicoids on balmorra.
  9. Not saying anything that hasn't been said yet, but just want another voice to be heard. Letting a grind be the path to the best gear is a horrible decision. Putting gear in randomized crates is an even worse decision. Please listen to the player feedback and revert the system to Operations bosses dropping tokens for turn in and putting the best gear in Operations only. I wouldn't even be opposed to putting set bonus mid tier gear in hard mode flashpoints. For the current tier this would be 216 set bonus gear and maybe even 220 tokens on the final or bonus bosses. For PvP let them have their expertise gear or at least some sort of token system as well.
  10. Sorry but this completely and utterly false. 6 Treasure Hunting lockbox missions ( 2 Grade 9, 2 Grade 8, 2 Grade 7) will cost exactly 14,700 credits. It is the same expense and model for Slicing missions. Treasure Hunting will return 2 boxes on a critical. Treasure hunting boxes always return a a green or blue item. Grade 8 will also possibly return a schematic that isn't worth anything on the GTN. Slicing returns credit box and schematic or mission on critical. These schematics are worthless as well. Now lets look at some actual results. Note 1 currently anomaly. Currently, one of the grade 8 Treasure Hunting missions actually returns a grade 9 box. These are based on me running 50 of each of Grade 7, 8, and 9 missions. Treasure Hunting Grade 9 - Average credit return per box: 2715 Grade 9 - Average item vendor value per box: 4156 Grade 9 - Average value of credits and item per box: 6871 Grade 8 - Average credit return per box: 2412 Grade 8 - Average item vendor value per box: 1568 - Schematics are only worth 890 to vendor Grade 8 - Average value of credits and item per box: 3980 Grade 7 - Average credit return per box: 2152 Grade 7 - Average item vendor value per box: 1785 Grade 7 - Average value of credits and item per box: 3937 Average return for running all 3 Grades with 6 companions is 29,576 on 14,700 spent. This is assuming no critical returns or failures. Now for Slicing Grade 9 - Average return of credits:3975 Grade 8 - Average return of credits:3953 Grade 7 - Average return of credits:3428 Average return of running all 3 Grades with 6 companions is 22,712 on 14,700 spent. This assuming no critical returns or failures. So that means a difference of 6,864 credits per run of companions or Treasure Hunting is 85% more profitable in credit return than Slicing. Now for the disclaimer. Slicing has 1 positive over Treasure Hunting and that is the return of missions upon a critical. A player could choose to either vendor, use, or sell the missions on the GTN. Vendoring isn't very useful as they only return 1010 for Grade 7, 1280 for Grade 8, 1550 for Grade 9. Selling on the GTN could be more profitable, but I haven't personally measured how well missions sell. There would also be some luck in here as I imagine Diplomacy/Slicing/Treasure Hunting missions returns are more profitable than say Scavenging/Bioanalysis missions. Finally, players could choose to run the missions themselves, and sell the resulting returns on the GTN, but that would be too variable to properly calculate. Final Thought: Running Treasure Hunting either manually and legally, or macroing which is in violation of ToS, can be quite profitable. It isn't practical for players to claim that they can make more money daily by playing other areas of the game. A macro would allow a single character to make 7,140,480 credits of profit per day. AGAIN THIS IS ILLEGAL BY TOS. No player can maintain this level of credit influx by any other means other than selling on GTN. Yes, it is possible to make a lot of money running heroics, but at some point you are going to hit a wall of how many characters you actually have. No one is pulling in 50 Million a week running heroics/PvP/OPs/Dailies/FPs. The daily and weekly credit values I posted do not even account for critical success rates of Treasure Hunting.
  11. 25 Packs and I've gotten 9 color crystals which are all Hawkeye and Endurance, 6 decorations I don't even care about, 2 very comman and cheap guns on the GTN, and 8 random armor boxes which of none are matched and 3 are duplicates. With all this crap I've also managed to get a crap ton of GSF, Space Mission and PvP experience boosters that I have no use for. The tunings were suppose to be common, and I'm starting to think I won't even get 1 little lone 2 of both light and dark. The tunings are the biggest issue I have. They are kind of marked and designed to match the event, but its up to pure range luck to get them.
  12. Every time I see this topic I want to bang my head on a wall. There are legal ramifications to changing the requirements of the game. When you sell software (especially boxed software) then you are essentially guaranteeing the software will run with the specs that are written on the box. This problem has existed for MMOs since the days of EverQuest. if they changed the architecture for the game that would require different minimum hardware, then they would be legally obligated to refund the purchase price to any consumer who could claim they are no longer able to use the product. EverQuest got around this by maintaining their older base environment, and by also selling expansions with new environments as boxed software. While the expansion might introduce new textures, shading, etc. The base game still could run old textures, shading etc in the original areas of the game.
  13. If not all modifiable weapons, then at least ALL Ops, and PvP Token Weapons. A lot of these have special hilts, sounds and particle effects already associated with them, and it would be nice to be able to augment the effects with tunings.
  14. Then why do I see bots everywhere farming mobs in heroic areas every day, or teleporting all over the place grabbing slicing nodes? Why do I still get 3-4 emails a day and see people spamming the fleet? You do realize they have a major impact on the game's economy right?
  15. Turn off grass. Many players have reported issues with Belsavis. Disabling grass resolves the issue.
  16. Dread Master Weaponmaster's Lightsaber It has a very unique sound with a hilt effect and particle effect.
  17. Actually, the hilt size is pretty close to correct. She is just holding it wrong. Typically, you want some spacing between your hands and to choke up some.. Go lookup up pictures of people holding various types of 2 handed weapons.
  18. The stats are incorrectly switched on these 2 Med devices. The Advanced Polybiotic Medpac heals for 13110-15675 and 3919 over 15 seconds. The Advanced Polybiotic Med Unit heals for 15098-18081 and 3563 over 15 seconds. The Med Unit heals the companion in addition to the player. The Med Units always heal for less than the Medpacs due to it also healing companions. The blue version of this tier is correct, it is just the Advanced Purple of this tier that is incorrectly switched.
  19. That would be great if BioWare actually took action frequenstly. I can only recall of 3-4 instances of mass banning by them since release. Even then, the botters are back again the next day. I was a volunteer GM for EQ and we could flag accounts and knock them offline. Verant/SOE staff would review marked accounts within minutes and take action. It was an effective system.
  20. Yes, but other games have historically used in game staff to monitor and react. When the same character has been online for days straight warping around, its pretty conclusive. You could police the blatant stuff and still investigate less obvious stuff. Busting hundreds of accounts once a year isn't as helpful as daily policing would be. These bots are having a negative impact on the game every day. Even if you bust them once a year, they are just back the next day and doing it again. Start taking action on a daily basis, and you will have a bigger impact on them and restore some normalcy for players.
  21. Why is it when I report obvious teleporting bots, they remain in game for weeks later? Tickets are filed, and closed by BioWare, yet the problems still remain. It is getting to the point where you can't even harvest anything in some areas because the bots are just taking every single node when they spawn. This is becoming disruptive to other players trying to level harvesting skills or gather resources for crafting. BioWare, seriously hire 1 entry level position to police your servers. There's usually 10 bots per server in the same areas on the same planets on any given day. Be it the bots farming the hill on Ord Mantell to level up to spam the fleet, or the obvious level 48's on Rishi and Yavin gathering resources. There are some less obvious spaces like the heroic areas on Voss or the Black Hole farming kills for cash and drops, but we've all seen them and told you where they are. Put an end to it. You wouldn't need to review the situation and try to setup some big time sting to break credit sellers every 6 months if you just did some daily cleanup work. The player base would be much more appreciative of it and it would have a bigger impact on credit sellers being removed from the game.
  22. I too did not receive the mission to recruit Blizz after Chapter 10 completion. I received the Chapter 10 rewards and have Chapter 11 in my quest log. I am a Bounty Hunter who did Chapter 10 today. I have previously completed chapter 10 on other classes and received the mission for Blizz.
  23. Active Population after a couple of years: SWG: NOOOOOO LOLOLOL SWTOR:Yes SWG was a terrible game. I am even saying this as a long time SOE fanboy. It should have been put out of its misery long before it was.
  24. Honestly the cat is out of the bag. Everyone is just venting at this point. While I agree that the best loot should come from the most challenging content, it isn't going to change during the 4.x lifetime, and likely never again as there will be no new Nightmare raids going forward. I also don't see another RAV/ToS scenario occurring again. If and when they add new raids, they will always be the same tier of gear as all of the level scaled raids. True progression raiding is dead. Then again, there is no point to gear any more. Having the best gear only matters inside of operations thanks to bolstering and level-sync. At this point, those of us who cleared all of the relevant content and previously got all of the rewards, have no reason to raid other than to play with friends we have developed over the years. Bioware doesn't understand this, and they never will.
