As a lifelong fan of star wars having seen the first movie over 50 times on first release, it is with great pain that I’m am forced to write this post.
bugs yes mmos in their first year experience lots of bugs and more down times than in the years after, so I have been patient.
But action needs to be taken now by Bioware.
Bugs that have been there from day one such as the foundry on HK-47 and on Ops such as SOA bugging leading to wasted time and credits, even leading to groups not being able to carry on.
It’s time for compensation to be given, loot and BH tokens would be a start.
As for PvP that’s starting to be a joke, or has it always been a joke, its unbalanced its unfair…. Sort it out, we can’t even pick the WZ we want we have to go to a random one… why how are you to know what players like and dislike to help you develop the game more… come on this is simple.
How can players really enjoy PvP with paper armour V metal, just make it so they are split into armour types and make it cross servers so that will sort out the q times (this should be the same for random FPs in PVE)
Yes I’m not the best PvP player tbh I only do it to play with friends as I’m not a great lover of PvP but to see player complain over and over about this it’s not a nice experience. But I can see plain as day that’s its unbalanced all the same.
I have friends I make online leave saying these things and im now starting to hate these things myself, it’s a great game but the joy of playing it is leaving and I have had enough of having no compensation for having to cope with theses bugs.
Free to play is coming and by the looks of it, the game will be further ruined for fee paying players as a free player will pretty much have access to the game as a whole the stories, FPs and even Ops although limited they still have access without paying a single pound/cent.
And place players back where they were when using Group Finder, that’s a simple thing to do, it happens with WZ’s why can’t it happen with Group Finder… and no I don’t want to hear about mission needs to complete outside or to get the rewards needs to be outside the FP, change it so it all happens inside simple.
Stories yes they are nice but in HM modes why not remove them, if someone wants the stories they can see them in normal modes but make the need roles only apply if you can use the item and not on companions only on yourself.
Yes some good will come of it for fee paying players but overall they will still be able to get to the same stage as a fee paying player for nothing, but it will take the longer fair NOT!!!! Some things they should not have access to without a fee. It’s should be a taster not full access.
HM’s and Ops should not be free, pay to access them that would make it better.
Things we should have that we don’t, dual spec a must and or a separate spec for PVP that also changes your gear.
Loot and purchases players should have a time limit to return goods back (if pressed button in error or made a mistake)
Ops leader make mistakes so items should have an option to be passed to other group members rather than having to make a ticket, these items can be locked to the OP so that they are not given to players that are not in the OP.
The need option on loot should not be allowed if you cannot use the item on the alt or main you are using, this will help to reduce loot NINJAs .
Make this game better; don’t ruin it for us lifelong Fans of star wars
Take a long hard look at other MMo’s and their features that you should have Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 are great examples filled with things that Star Wars should have for without them numbers will go down and players will not return.
I have paced a ticket yet again today and TBH if I don’t hear from an agent I will simply stop paying and playing.
No this is not an opportunity for others to moan about me or say go away but an opportunity for your to add your comments about things that need fixing and improving to make this the number one game otherwise say nothing, we don’t need you to comment on me… comment on the game help them to help us.
Compensate while players or loose us, in game items and tokens will not lose you money, but will go a long way to making amends for time and credits lost due to bugs until they are fixed.
I’m sorry for the long post but I don’t want this game to fail.
