  1. So why introduce this for us European players when you know there are not security keys available for purchase??? I'm not going out to buy a smartphone just so I can log on to SWTOR!
  2. Yes, the one-time password problem still means us with the variable IP addresses cannot log on. Well done design team! You've stopped hackers and also stopped subscribers from playing the game!
  3. 7 attempts this evening before I could get logged on. Of course, Bioware couldn't even send out emailed passwords promptly so there was a delay after each attempt. Nearly 40 minutes before I could get logged on. Care to respond to this complaint with something other than a smug and obnoxious cut and paste answer, Bioware/EA?
  4. Could we have a companion who could enter one-time passwords - a bit like slicing? Then it wouldn't take me wasted hours trying to log on with expired one shot passwords that Bioware have been tardy in sending out. Or a companion who could remove the one time password feature?
  5. Just like the scene in the film, you should be able to ask Darth Vader to enter a 'one time password' to enter the Hoth Base. That would give sufficient time for ALL the rebels to escape. In fact, while DV was on the phone to Bioware for customer dis-service assistance, the rebels could destroy the new Death Star.

  7. Excessive length of time for EACH one-time pass word to arrive - by which time it is out of time and the one time password screen will not accept it. Obnoxious cut and paste emails from customer dis-service goons. I only pay a subscription to play the game. If you make it impossible to get onto the game then I ain't going to pay, am I, Bioware? From the last three days I have a more than a dozen one time password emails sitting in my inbox! Only a handful worked. All I want to be able to do is to log on, without delay and play the game!
  8. Great work SWTOR man! Tried to log on this evening (just to see if you were bothered about any concept of customer 'service'). Result was an 8 minute wait for the one time password to come through. Result was, of course, that it was not accepted. Second attempt - password received 13 minutes after first login attempt. Fails to be accepted again. Still have not logged on................. Will I ever been able to use up what paid subscription I have left outstanding.......?
  9. Yes, now past 16 minutes and still not logged in - by the time the passwords arrive they are expired! 3 attempts made! What an utterly, utterly useless and ill executed idea, Mr Head of Security! I have used the time though to contact my credit card company and to cancel the swtor payment agreement though - so something productive there! I wouldn't have cancelled but for the obnoxious and ignorant email from customer dis-services!
  10. Received an email from SWTOR customer dis-service department "however we would rather err on the side of inconvenience than that of account security" **** you, SWTOR! Another 5 minute+ wait this morning for the one-time password to come through by email just to log onto the game. This is five minutes less I can play this morning before I have to go to work. Know what 'workaround' solution I'm applying? I'm logging onto my online banking (no time delay in logging onto that service!) and cancelling my payment plan for SWTOR!
  11. For goodness sake! I just quit WoW after five years. Do you really think I'm going to keep subscribing after one month of SWTOR with this one-time password **** going on??? Get this log-in issue sorted and remove the one-time password requirement. SO I need to TURN DOWN MY SECURITY SETTINGS? What a dumb idea...........All I want to be able to do is log in and play. I don't know how to change cookie setting ffs! So don't go assuming I'm going to spend hours fiddling with setting just so I can play YOUR game! I am a user not a technical provider!!! I want a game without one-time passwords! (over 10 minute waits in each of the last two days, each time I try to log on). Give the consumer what he/she wants - a game they can play WHEN they want.
