well tough one... not in any specific order... PRE CU Star Wars Galaxies Asherons Call Pre Shrouded Isles Dark age of Camelot. Star Wars The Old Republic <--- why? because they lived up to what they said.. story based questing and it has housing, crafting, and PVP...

LOVE IT.....LOVE THE GAME.... only got one gripe.. its the chaining of CC.. other than that.. just waiting for more add ins for pvp... its a great game. all the nay sayers and criers will always come to the forums and complain its their nature. I havent came to the forums till now because the servers are down. if not I too would be playing staying off the forums. Now that I am on the forums, I am just laughing up a storm at all the negative posts already only in 2 or 3 weeks after launch. Jesus must work for a gaming company to please the crowd that WOW brought in. Till that day comes... no gaming company will make some of these players happy. wait 6 months and then complain if nothing ever changes. as of now, the game just launched. takes time to write code. and in fact i want to play so bad but with this 8 hour down time, I really cant complain because they are fixing something. But mark me down for liking the PVP.

not all mods are bad... but once you start modding....there is no stopping the cheating... the mods will come out to exploit the game... mods like nerfed buttons... speed hacks... etc. once you start allowing you get cheaters using anything and everything to get the edge over honest players. and of course you will get the cheaters saying that the honest players are just bad.... same story different day...

come to The Fatman server and you will feel the GEAR GAP.... i face 50s who KNOW how to play their characters and its just one of those things that there is nothing you can do but just do as much damage to help your team before you die. guys are already decked out in champion gear and up already after a few weeks.

I give this thread a big LOL boy i thought i saw it all. A guy complaining about a healer wining some votes. LOL coming from a same guy who most likely would complain that a healer is NOT healing. yet when a healer actually heals and wins a vote... he complains that he won and not him. LOL i have played healers in lots of MMOs from warhammer to DAOC to Asherons call... to SWG... to you name it. DPS have been given all the credit all the time while healers were always: 1. yelled at because they arent healing or not giving heals to the right person 2. because they arent doing damage they dont get as much xp or pvp xp as the damage dealers. 3. being a healer takes a special breed to put up with all the BS they get. so I will vote for a healer over any dps monkey anyday if he did a good job. AND YOU SHOULDNT COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. its the healers boys that keep you alive to do that damage. without that you will be constantly popping up in the spawn area with far less damage. give it a rest. its a damned if you do and a damned if you dont situation. let the healers have their moment if they get it... dont come here complaining.

well i didnt log off these forums yet... but you can be snooty all you want and YOU ARE WRONG..... read my previous post on the previous page.... CC = CROWD CONTROL learn what it means dude... it does not mean you cant use your skills... it means you dont get full CONTROL..... that is why its called CROWD(that means PLAYER---YOU) CONTROL(meaning your character is not performing normally because of something on you) now if you actually read my full explainatioin on the page before i wouldnt have to repeat myself. ROOT = you cant move... that is NOT NORMAL.. it is controlling your character... CONTROL. you lost the ability to MOVE... that is a CC SNARE = you move at slower speed... LESS THEN NORMAL... you are technically losing your characters complete function... meaning this snare ability has a form of control OVER YOUR SPEED.... hence it is CONTROL... that is a CC Knockback = you are tossed in teh air backwards away from your target... while you are in the air.. grab yourself a cup of coffee and a donut and wait till you land... you lose CONTROL... that is why its called CROWD CONTROL... that is a CC Stun = you lose complete control over your character. you might as well watch a movie or a short film while you guy stands there aimlessly. YOU LOSE CONTROL... that is why its a CC. mezz= same thing... lose control.. its a CC i can keep going on and on.. PULL same as knockback... just the opposite way... you still LOSE CONTROL.... you lose some sort of your characters full functions. taht is why they call it.... CROWD CONTROL P.S. I must be missing something.. I didnt know my smuggler had a charge so I can break the knockback in mid air.... i will fill out a ticket and ask bioware why my character doesnt have the Charge in his abilities.

amazes me... its like the OP pays $75 to get into a theme park like Six flags... rides all the big Roller Coasters and then says he is bored. While never trying out the smaller rides which are fun too. hey PVP.. that is CONTENT. its called PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER... that is content all by itself. go kill people. try solo killing a whole group of people and see what your outcome is. If you fail then you havent done everything in this game. if you are begging for raid content for a 50... why the heck did you zip through 50 levels if you are complaining for PVE.... if you are complaining about PVP... do you really need an incentive to kill somebody in game? I mean seriously. DO you really need to be tailed a long with a carrot on a stick? What ever happened to the joy of just PVPing? whatever man... you dont belong in MMOs. Because EVERY MMO I have ever played since AC1, EQ, and UO days, there has been people as of late who rush to the top level then go the the forums and complain about how bored they are. you are like the guy who we take along on a camping trip... you go about 100mph to get to the camping site... while the rest are on their way at 60mph on the road. You set up camp... do some fun things by yourself... then say your bored. you want to go home. when you race up that fast. its lonely because you leveled so much faster then everybody else. Its always the same with guys like you. you race up because you want the advantage over everybody else and you get bored of it. WELL GEE, havent you learned yet taht you shouldnt do that. what MMO are you gonna hop on to race to top level and post the same thing?

first off, DAOC was first to have brackets for levels for Battlegrounds. WOW took it from them. I think its ok if the xp you get from the lower brackets are good enough to get the guy pushed through it. however, what can happen eventually with Tiered BGs is that sooner or later the lower tiered BGs will become empty with long queue waits. So what they should do is what DAOC did. you have large range of level bracket. CAP damage and stats so nobody can be "twinked" and thats that. in daoc's old days. Thidranki and cale were the only 2 BG brackets before you headed out with the big boys. Mythic added in all those other brackets in later. and they found them more empty then usual. In the old days of that game the BGs were always packed because there were only 2 of them.... thidranki, if i remembered right was up to 24 and cale was up to 39. If I remember correctly. It has been so long.

reading comprehension anybody... WHEN YOU ARE IN THE AIR? can you control your character? I mean do you stop in midair and run back? are you superman? get those x-ray goggles out big guy? again.... LOL let me see... i run at the speed of 10m per second... that is NORMAL... somebody hits me with SNARE.... i now run at 5m per second.... DID I LOSE SOME CONTROL? YES I think so... Reading comprehension man. on and LOL P.S. NOBODY should be able to be CHAINED CC... EVER... P.S.S If you ask me... ALL CC should be broken on damage. that will require more TACTICS then the current state.

LOL I seriously hope you are kidding. Really really do. Please tell me you are just trying to make some people laugh. CROWD... would mean PLAYERS... CONTROL... means its something that you didnt ask for.. another player put it on you... something that takes the control out of your hands... something that effects your normal character from doing the norm. a knockback is a CC... a snare is too... just because you dont think it is doesnt make it so.
