  1. I was wondering if we could have a companion that reacts/emotes to certain events. I was personally thinking of a Galactic Network companion for my character that acts as my GTN mule. The companion could have a happy reaction every time you post a new item on the network, or a disappointed reaction every time you retrieve an expired item. If it works (and I know you guys have difficulties with coding) it could be expanded to little happy reactions for getting a new achievement, or even disappointed reactions for your character dying. There's way too many companions for this to be available for every one. But maybe you'd be willing to do it for a cash grab, i mean - a rare cartel market companion? Please?
  2. Wrong thread for this idea. Sorry. So, just the one above this should be fine.
  3. Can we please have armor that changes color as your character advances from neutral to light/dark? Something that starts out solid gray, like the Frenzied Warrior set, and then shifts to white (or brown if you want to be classic) as your character get more light-side levels, or black (and maybe red) as your character gets more dark-side levels. Please?
  4. Oh yeah, silver is definitely the new bronze. Check out the weapons in the next pack: http://dulfy.net/2017/05/02/swtor-steadfast-champions-pack-preview/ Reminds me of the antique weapons I still get in those worthless GCCs.
  5. But apparently Isaac really will take you. Although, if you're Guss, he gives you right back.
  6. Agreed. On top of that, it is a redundant requirement. Anyone who has completed the previous DvL tier will have completed the Shadow of Revan storyline. This requirement is completely unnecessary, and simply begging for problems. Well, congratulations, Bioware. You've completed the achievement: Begging Successful.
  7. Um, no. This approach borders on abuse. Offering more garbage (sorry, bronze) items for more money depends on your customers to be foolish or addicted. Many are, of course. If you still have a few hundred thousand players, then you will have foolish customers and addicted customers. But it is highly unethical to base your bottom line on targeting them.
  8. The companion (I don't believe musco has ever used the plural when talking about rewards) will be account wide, and will be sent to all of your characters via ingame mail.
  9. We are three expansions into the game. Ilum should have disappeared after the release of the first expansion for anyone who purchased it. Players should be able to pick it up if they want to, and ignore it if they want to. Instead we still get the obsolete Ilum update on our loading screens. It is there throughout Makeb and SoR. It is shoddy, and makes the developers appear unprofessional. When an error appears in the appearance of an item box of a Cartel Market armor piece, it gets fixed before the week is up. Please get rid of the Ilum "auto-run" feature.
  10. Love the new changes to companions! All of these upgrades work incredibly well to really increase the value of all of our companions. That being said, with the new flexibility of usage (tank, damage, or healer) the individual value of certain companions has gone down. Specifically, Quinn is now nothing more than an annoying kiss-a**. His value to the story was originally a knife in the back for the Warrior. This is the kind of betrayal that every Sith story needs. But because of his value as the only healer companion for the Warrior, your character's honest reaction, choking the life out of him, was discarded for gameplay reasons. Losing their only healer was an insurmountable handicap for a class that couldn't play the role of healer. With the advent of KOTFE, however, he's now back to being more valuable for his story than his role. So can we please kill him? Pleeeeeeeeaaaaase?
  11. Had to delete the character, and close the game entirely, before I was able to manage a level 60 creation. Thankfully, you are able to get a refund on the token if you delete the character before it hits level 61.
  12. Same thing happened to me. Has anyone had any luck deleting the character and trying again?
  13. Well he is a widower, and has been known to bond with ladies that save his life*, so... *and brainwash him.
  14. Definitely! And a new class for both factions. Revan would really want classes and races.
  15. What do you think Revan wants the game to have... other than more class stories?
  16. Sorry I'm late to this thread, but when I heard General Ando it really stuck in my mind. Glad to see it sparked interest on the forums. And damn SWTOR for not publishing all of the voice actors. Thank you for spotting that it is the same voice as the Great Hunt rep in the BH quest on Hutta. I knew I had heard him somewhere before this game, too. It took a few days, but I finally realized that it is Marl, the old duelist from the first KOTOR game. Unfortunately, it is not Morgan Freeman. But it is one of the most distinctive voices in the game.
  17. Thanks, Frsot. It's little things like this that I would like to see in the game, but I wouldn't want the BW developers spending any time on.
  18. I don't want UI customization. It's something that still gets a lot of complaints on other forums. edit: I would like to see them offered, but I don't play WoW with them and I don't intend to play SWTOR with them. But I visit http://www.curse.com at least once a month to see the new themes that are added. Some are amazing and quite clever. It wouldn't hurt anyone for someone else to develop and offer them. What I WANT is GTN improvements. The GTN is tedious and frustrating. I would like a selection of add-ons that improves this aspect.
  19. Do you, or any of the above posters, know what add-ons are? You don't HAVE to add them. You can totally play the game without them, or you can delete them at any time. The thing is, there is a serious community of add-on developers that are truly dedicated to their work. They can target specific aspects of a game and offer solutions. Sometimes the solutions are garbage. Sometimes the solutions are pure brilliance. Either way, it's free to both us and Bioware. And you can add any of them that you wish.
  20. It's sufficient for any players that still want to play the game. A lot of folks have left, though. And the ability to customize your experience to the level that you want to could go a long way to bringing back players. I will be moving to the F2P option when it goes live, and nothing in the cartel market is even a little tempting for me. But the option to modify aspects of the game with the subscription game-client, would keep me playing just to see what add-ons could be offered. Also, damage meters that don't work in real-time (as you are running the flashpoint or operation), don't provide players that are learning their class the opportunity to learn as they go. It's an obsolete guild tool, that even guilds want a better version of. And UI customization was such a relief when it arrived that a lot of players forgot that it wasn't exactly what they wanted. I really miss the UI customization in WoW that provides you with different themes and appearances.
  21. Bioware needs to realize that they just don't have the resources, or justification for the resources, to update and improve the existing game to the expectations of the players. Please unlock the game to outside programs. Add-ons such as damage meters, quest tips, UI customization, and GTN improvements would go a long way to fixing issues that players have been needing since launch. Whoever is working on in-game features could then turn their attention to stabilizing the game for these new applications.
  22. Absolutely agreed! This is a game intended to relax, entertain, and kill some time. Swoop racing would be so amazing. Just give us a 2-4 player rail shooter on the ground (I think they could handle that).
  23. OK, seriously? Everyone who has posted on this thread has seen it work in other games. If you don't understand why it will work, you've just never played them. If you actually have a reason why it won't work, please let us know. Otherwise, you've already said you don't believe it and you don't need to repeat yourself.
  24. Totally agree with the sentiment. But disagree with almost everyone here on implementation. This needs to be an either/or solution. That's what was promised, but they never delivered. You should be able to max out your Legacy with your main, and provide all of the perks to your alts for free. Or you should be able to dump a bunch of credits onto one character and buy all of the perks with no legacy requirement whatsoever. By the time you hit 50 on one character, you are only Legacy 7 or 8. Originally, that was not enough for anything beyond the first Tier. It's ridiculous. If you spent a bunch of time on your main crafting and selling while you leveled to 50 (and were successful at it), you might have a couple mil credits. This should allow your first alt to max out one of the XP options. But you're forced to run dailies or whatever to increase your legacy. Thankfully, they backed off the level 25 legacy requirement, but 10 is still too high if you are tired of the same quests that you ran last time, and you don't want to switch factions.
