Hi everyone, I am a big star wars fan, but up until recently I haven't been that interested in the EU. However, now that I am getting into it, I would like to start off exploring the EU by reading the comics. I am not as interested in the stories about the life of the original movie cast (such as Luke, Han, Leia, etc..) after episode 6 because their story will be explained more hopefully in the next movie. What I am really looking for are comics or stories about characters that will most likely not be explained in future TV shows or movies, such as Darth Maul, General Grievous, and other characters not necessarily from the movies (I mean characters from swtor). Anyways, if anyone could give me a good place to start for what I am looking for as well as where I may be able to find them online or in a store, that would be great! If you have any other suggestions besides just comic books for exploring the EU please feel free to let me know. Thanks!

I just finished getting a full set of unranked pvp gear when the gear that I had was taken out of the game and the obroan set was placed from ranked to unranked. After getting the right amount of ranked commendations to get a piece of ranked gear, I found that I couldn't get the ranked gear because the piece that I was trading in was old and not the new obroan set that was currently the unranked gear. Now I have to get a whole new set of unranked gear just to be able to get some ranked gear. I think that there should be a vender where you can trade in unranked old gear for the new unranked gear so that you can then use it to get ranked gear. Does anyone else agree with this or is it just me?

Hi everyone, So I just reached level 55 and decided that now I had time to try role playing as a master. I am a juggernaut and currently have an apprentice in mind, but I was wondering what people tend to assign their apprentices for their first missions. In other words, what missions did you first send your apprentice(s) on? Any other tips would be great! Thanks

It would be very cool if Bioware added a new event that had many missions that were both on land and some missions involved having use your galactic star fighter ships. All of the missions would revolve around empire vs republic. Some cool animations in each fleet could be where there is now fighting going on outside of the space stations and where random "quakes" would happen as the result of getting hit with some sort of cannon. Some dailies could revolve around trying to find the main sith/jedi planets (korriban and tython). A new operation, flashpoint, or heroic could be where you travel to that planet (obvsiously in an instance) and you try to take over the world. It could be a see how far you get before your group dies sort of thing since the opposite faction cannot take over the other factions home planet.

Thanks for the reply. I think i may try out a smuggler on that server and then maybe transfer one of my other toons on the Bastion Server on to Jung Ma. Most people on the Bastion Server are just a bunch of trollers or advertisers.

So I just transfered one of my players to the Ebon Hawk server (US) and I am enjoying that people are treating more as a role playing server than just a pve server. However, I was interested in joining an RP-PVP server and the only US one is Jung Ma. So i was wondering if the players on Jung Ma actually do role playing or do they treat it as more of just a pvp server?

i know this is not really the purpose of this forum, but are there any benefits to keeping him alive. I want to kill him since my jedi has some dark in him, but i am not sure if i would then look bad in the story finish.

I agree with this solution. This would allow for 55s to get in their warzones and also have a chance to get in some ranked warzones. That way people who just que for ranked would have a much better chance of having the que pop. You should put this idea in the suggestions forum.

You cannot get ranked gear in 2-3 days if u cannot do ranked warzones. The only way to get it is to hand in regular warzones (30 reg for 10 ranked). That can take about a month or two depending on how much you play. And i was never complaining about me be beaten but rather how nobody even bothers to try to make ranked groups anymore. I am not easily taken down in warzones btw.

ok that is understandable. I just wish bioware had a better way of encouraging ranked warzones. Maybe they should do a double warzone comm event. That way 55s will do ranked warzones in order to get double the ranked comms. It would also encourage f2p and preferred status to get the weekly warzone pass. Thanks for your input

you miss the point of the argument though. First of all, i never said I am a new 55, i have been playing swtor for over a year and I have done a lot of pvp, this is just a newer toon that is 55. Anyways, my point is that if more 55s qued for ranked warzones the que would not be hours at a time. When i first reached 55 i qued for ranked warzones and the que was only about 2 minutes. If more people with high enough gear tried them out then the whole long que problem would be gone.

So i have found on the Bastion Server that all the high geared pvp players would rather crush lower geared people in regular warzones than try their skills in ranked warzones. I never see groups asking for ranked and when I try solo queing you have to wait in the que for about 3 hours, maybe more. The people i have talked to agree with me that a lot of 55s have gotten beaten in ranked and are now too scared to try it out. I would strongly encourage people with high level gear to retry or try ranked warzones for you will probably like them and if the que is fast, you will get a lot more comms because the matches are shorter.
