Sorry if this has been addressed, but there's several pages and I'm on limited time at the moment and don't want to forget.. what about those of us who still have cartel market certificates.. will there be a use for them or should I hurry up and spend them?

Good afternoon all, I am posting this on behalf of one of my guild members who is having trouble and very frustrated, to say the least. He logs in through the launcher and the loading screen comes up and just sits there. I asked him how long he waited and he said, literally, hours. The gears just go round and round and never brings up the Server Selection screen or the Character Selection screen. He's tried periodically to get this to work, including uninstalling and reinstalling the game and searching through the web to see if anyone else has had this problem, but have not found any fixes put out there, so here we are now.
