Currently I left click my abilities on the quickbar to use them because it seems there are too many abilities. However, I'm finding tanking (I am maining a vanguard) requires me to target people, friends and foe, a lot. I'm wondering what the most efficient way to use my abilities would be.

I am wondering what is the best way to use the UI to maximize efficiency in quests and pvp. Right now, I left click my abilities to use them, but this takes a while. However, I have too many skills now to make 1 to = (12 keys) to cover them all. What is the best way to do this? Thank you!

I have never complained before on the forums, but I really do feel like this recent change where Psychic Absorption/Devour prevents Restoration/Purge from cleansing DoT abilities is quite unfair. First of all, sages have to depend on healing power to stay alive in warzones. We don't have the mobility of scoundrels or the heavy armor of commandos. Also, our main healing abilities take a while to cast and we have to stay stationary. To stay alive, we have to keep healing ourselves and others, and run when we absolutely have to. However, here is the problem. We already have an issue because DoT tends to exceed the output of HoT anyway. Therefore, when DoT attacks placed on ourselves or the tank it's really important for the sage to cleanse them. Finally, if we now try to run, a sorcerer or assassin can hit us with DoT and we'll probably die, especially because we have to now stop to heal ourselves. Getting rid of this seriously hurts our healing ability and unfairly punishes sage healers.

I personally have never done this, but I have to wonder why us healers shouldn't do this. As it stands now, I feel like arenas are simply a game of mob the healer/who can kill the healer first. Part of the fun in standard arenas is the anonymity you start with. You can hide and heal without being attacked from the beginning. Since in arenas the opposing team knows your role before you begin, you are immediately targeted. So what's stopping us from queuing as DPS (in unranked arenas)?
