The new trailer made the hairs on my arms stand on end. Especially when the X-Wings came into shot over the water and the Falcon running that barrel roll...and what hit me straight away was, This is more like Star Wars. The prequels were not Star Wars to me. Everything was too polished and shiny. All the starships, tech and hardware has this battered, used look in the originals. It looks like that for VII. Now, it seems they have the look, lets hope the story works out. Disney have brought my heart back to Star Wars after Lucas pulled it out and displayed to my face with the prequel trilogy. Ok, Ep. III wasn't so bad...but really...They pretty much took a downward spiral. They could have been so good. But flashy CGI for Star Wars just does not feel right. fingers crossed for VII, I am very hopeful!

I set foot on Makeb at 54, I have just entered Oricon at 57...with about 2 PvP matches during that time. There is more than enough content to get your levels before even going to Makeb.

Hi all... I have just hit 50 on my Arsenal Merc. Rolling with Assault I believe. I am wondering what secondary stats I should be looking at for gearing at 60. I am mainly stacking Aim > Endurance, but I don't know whether I should be looking at gear with Accuracy, Crit, Surge, Absorption etc... Any help is appreciated as I am planning now for lvl 60. Thanks in adv..

I am also a returning player, and I have carried on with my main but, also started a new character. I find the best way is to just run through the story quests. Even Heroics, all experience counts. I have been using exp boosts, only the reward ones and my new character has just hit level 12 in a matter of hours. No distractions, just pure questing. I'm sure I could hit 25 tomorrow after work, but real life chores hang in the way. From 1 - 25 you don't need to worry about your gear or statting. Go with it, have fun and have a blast! I've had so much fun since returning to SWTOR!! : D Welcome Back!

Hey Guys, I am a returning player and have been playing Preferred status for a while. Today I re-subbed and noticed that Rise of the Hutt Cartel has been registered to my account. I never bought this. Wasn't RotHC a paid expansion? Have they given it as part of my sub due to SoR being released? Thanks, Kind Regards.

I really hope this game doesn't go down. I really enjoy it. I would love a standalone version if it did too. I just love this game so much, I don't understand why it gets so much hate.

On Number 6 > You get to choose which two you want to unlock. The other remains locked until resub, I've done it. You also get to choose which 2 characters you wish to unlock assuming you have more than 2.

I think a racing minigame would be cool. Be it swoop or pods. I think it would be cool if your racer was upgradeable too. Like buying different parts for it. Much like you do companions and your ship. Hell even paint work Oh yeah customization. I would be in for this.

I remember some dude healing an NPC I was attacking. I was like "LOL, you little s**t" Called my girlfriend over and said "Look at this...LOL" I thought it was funny, even though the joke was on me. Never seen this before. We a had a good laugh about it. My toon died oh, well...off to the medcentre with a jolly good chuckle and a smile on my face. I'm smiling thinking about it now. Novelty

lol YEP! I feel a great disturbance in the world of MMO when this comes out. A lot of games could lose a lot of players...I only allow myself to sub to one game at a time.....hmmm....

I am currently levelling a Merc and I LOVE him!!!! He wipes NPCs clean out. With Mako healing I feel almost invincible. I had a Jedi Sentinel at first, but my Hunter just became my main. Even though you are stood there like a turret doing some pretty insane damage and fast kills, It is so far my favourite class. Merc seems great for PvE.

You're not out of luck at all. I run this game on a Dell Inspiron 1545 with a Dual Core Pentium 2.1 Ghz, 3 gig of RAM and TERRIBLE integrated graphics. All on set to low, it gets me by until I can afford a better machine. Hopefully a lot better machine. Do not worry!

Are you sure it is lag you are experiencing or drops in frames per second. I have only ever experienced server lag and that was today. However, I get a lot of fps drops due to my crappy system. It's an old (ish) Dell Inspiron 1545 and I am saving for a helluva better desktop. I can somewhat guarantee that it is fps you are experiencing. You check what fps you get by hitting Ctrl + Shift + F. It will appear in the bottom left of your screen. If you have low fps In Graphics Settings 1. Turn Shadows off 2. Turn VSync off 3. Everything on Low. EVERYTHING! You could also download Game Booster which seems to help somewhat. PS Server Lag is displayed on your MiniMap. In the bottom left of that window. Looks like a mobile phone signal.

I am really enjoying this game. Been playing a little under a month now. The story quests are really cool. Having fun on Republic at the moment but I want to make a Sith too and a Bounty Hunter. Went with Jedi Knight first off, I mean, what's Star Wars without Jedi? Generally people are friendly and helpful. They seem so much more "grown up" than in other mmo. I've come across a few sarcastic individuals, but not many. All in all, I find this community to be very pleasing. I can say I will be on this game quite a long while :/ Regards.

So, here I am at work looking forward to the moment I can log in after hometime I hear so many complaints about this game which got me thinking. What do you like about this game? What keeps you playing? For me, I love the crafting system, the epic story lines and how you get animated cutscenes. I love the community in game. It seems so much more 'grown up' than other games. Hi All, Thought I would introduce myself here. I reign from the East Midlands of England. I'm 29 on Sunday :/ Fulltime Engineer, and free time gamer. I have avoided SWTOR for too long because of all the bad critic I have heard and read. Last week I decided to actually give it a shot for myself. Being a Star Wars fan from a young age I absolutely love my experience so far, even though only level 14 on a Jedi Sentinel. I cannot believe I have not played this before now. I did F2P to start with, and then cancelled my subscription to WoW and subbed SWTOR. It just feels so much better for me, even at a low level.
