  1. I'm sorry about that . That's the problem with copywrite laws these days - it's difficult to use commercial music for non-profit purposes (like machima) on YouTube and not have it blocked.
  2. Yeah I've seen that video before, it's freaking hilarious! One of the best parodies I've seen in a long time for sure Thanks for all the video love guys!
  3. It's amazing how sometimes the mistakes you make when doing movies like this can lead to some of the best footage I mentioned in the pre-wipe topic that when using Fraps, there was a time when I unknowingly became mixed up with my recording on/off. So half of my clips I set up, I thought I had started recording when I had actually just stopped recording. Using Fraps, where you don't have an overlay that says "recording on/off" or whatever, it can be confusing about when you're recording and when you aren't if you happen to get distracted. You think "did I just push the button to START recording or to END recording?" I went back through my clips afterwards to find that half of them were me just running around to different places in order to set up certain shot. The scene with the robot turning to face me was one of those shots. Originally, the idea was to "dance with the robot". Its spinning around gives the impression of dance while I'm dancing with it, ya know? It didn't turn out that way though because of what I mentioned before with recording getting backwards. In any event, I think it turned out more funny this way and I wouldn't change it if I could The choreographed dance with the Twilek was kind of one of those moments - just right place, right time to get the sync down. And the final scene after the credits was just a random person dying in the background while I was getting some "stock footage". I thought it was too hilarious to not include Glad you all have enjoyed the video! I'm going to put together another one soonish!
  4. I'm glad you enjoyed it . I'm hoping to do another video that is a little more elaborate in the next few weeks.
  5. Yeah, the disclaimer really is necessary. If I had the previous forums to link to, I could show you exactly why that disclaimer is necessary. In the last topic before the forum wipe and everything, I had members from some off the wall guild come to the topic with the explicit purpose of posting negatively about my video while also posting a link to their own guild's personal dance video and recruitment page. 6..... pages..... of that crap. Aside from that, they flooded the actual Youtube comments with the same thing and even went as far as to post some really nasty comments on some of my other personal Youtube videos. It got so bad I had to remove voting and add comment moderation. It was just really stupid and childish for absolutely no reason at all. So to sum it up, it is definitely necessary for me to post that disclaimer. If I hadn't of (after 3 days) notified BW's moderators of what was happening, it would have continued without their knowledge because it seems they monitor every other topic except the one that probably needed it most.
  6. OK, so I published this video just after the Thanksgiving beta ended, with this video incorporating footage I recorded while playing over the weekend. If you ever had a question of whether the Imperial Agent has all the fun, your question is about to be answered! Friendly comments on subject and relative to the video are always welcome, however, due to the flaming and spam of a certain guild during the last iteration of this topic before the forum wipe, any posts that are off topic and linking to any other videos or guild websites will be reported to the moderators. This video was produced for your enjoyment, so please keep posts relative to this video and post your own clips in your own thread. Thanks!
  7. I struggled during a pvp match earlier against a Jedi player (not sure which). They stunned me and then proceeded to keep pounding me to death while I couldn't run away - not really fair considering my stun goes away as soon as the target takes damage. I'd love to have a stun skill that allows me to keep shooting the target and them remain stunned instead of the stun ending instantly as soon as they take damage
  8. I think the biggest issues is.......... what happens to these queues after launch? Unless free transfers are made possible, why are people going to want to reroll on a different server when they've already spent several hours of in game time on a server that has enormous queue times? Unless free transfers are made available, I find it difficult to believe people will willingly want to transfer and lose all that time despite horrendously long queue times. I think the best option would have been to of had servers allotted that from the start that were designated as pre-launch guild implemented and other servers for people who had pre-ordered the game but not been pre-assigned a guild and server. I see the biggest issue as being people who weren't in a guild (like the Aussie players) are designating such-and-such server as the "unofficial Oceanic server", which really shafts the US guild players who were preassigned that server from the start. You go from having a normal server pop to suddenly have a flood of hundreds or thousands of players to that server. Is there even a cutoff for how many people can join a server? It seems to me that if queue times (the past few nights for me have been at least an hour) are in excess of an hour, and God help those who've been in queues 5+ hours, that the players should NOT have been allowed to continue joining that server!
  9. With everything that's been said up to this point, considering the lack of items in the CE vendor store and this IS early access, who's to say more stuff won't be added either at launch or soon thereafter?
  10. Oh my jeez I called support thinking I'd get a quicker response for my not receiving the items yet and I've been on hold for 2 hours and 10 minutes without a response yet. it's not even freaking retail are you kidding me??? Do they have 2 people answering the phones???
  11. I had to of put it in correctly because it said on the page "Collector's Edition code".
  12. So at what point do you get your in-game pets and stuff mailed to you with the CE? I put my code in last night on the website and I logged in today thinking surely I'd have the mail waiting for me (others in game had said they got theirs within an hour or so) and I've yet to receive anything.....
  13. The problem is allotted servers for US players are being filled by non-US players. Surely I don't have to spell out the problem in that, it's common sense.
  14. I work with Gamestop here in the US and generally we aren't allowed to hand out physical copies of games form the store until release date under penalty of getting fired. If Gamestop.com ships the games early (like Amazon did) that's one thing, but as a general rule, we aren't allowed to pre-release or pre-sell games before their street date, unless corporate tells us otherwise. If we do, there's usually about a 1000% chance of getting fired.
  15. The last two nights I've been in a queue over an hour on Hyperspace Cannon. The really crappy thing is that several people in game were discussing the fact that they were Canadians, Aussies, and British on a US-West server. I can somewhat understand Canadians, but freaking British and Aussies? At the time I first started the queue yesterday almost all of the US servers were either full with queues or very heavy, and I looked down and see the majority of the European servers are light or normal (during peak times for UK). It sucks having non-US people clogging up US servers instead of using their own - Aussies are the exception and they need their own servers so they won't clog up all of ours. I really hope BW will start cutting server access to new players on these new servers on the first few days. There's no excuse for having so many servers over max cap during early access and having queues that are an hour or two long. New servers need to be brought up and free transfers need to be made or required to people who weren't first implemented onto the servers through initial guild transfer, at least until the server cap levels out.
