HPS and EHPS are two different monsters yo.

The trickiest part of the 8 HOT rotation is the fact that when a tank/dps is taking extra damage your going to lose a 2 stack of HOTS on one to two targets (typically those at the end of the rotation (DPS or your other healer))... I've found it especially hard when I have to switch to a UWM cast, since the channel time is at 1.8+~~ seconds. Also....you can sometimes cut Diagnostic scan off early... (I didn't see this in the guide) if you want a small Regen since you are already at a suitable energy pool... Anyways hi Dath (your guide is super solid) I don't think I could of written it this well! Talking about damage prediction is something that is hard to do.... Really it can only come from seeing the same fight with the same tank type (VG/Shadow/Guardian), who uses the same rotational pattern for mechanics. Different classes, (especially melee) are going to take more damage than RDPS since the new bosses are.. (sadly) set up for RDPS. Currently I think I'm still set up for one alacrity enhancement and one purple ala aug on my relic. Which comes in at like 2.01 -2.02% It allows you the freedom of another power surge enhancements, which I would say is a viable trade off for a mainstat augment. Whats really lacking in the scoundrel is that OH **** heal, when someone finds a magical way to stand in an aoe (lookin at you Gag ) But hopefully....some buff's will be forthcoming in the later patches. P.S. you should mark this as a PVE guide.... although 8 HOT is wonderful for your overall heals in reg WZ's, it's not so great in 4 V 4 ranked when your dps is getting focused and due to the fact that you only have to maintain 4 stacks of HOTS compared to the 8 for an 8m raid. That leaves....a fair bit of time in between refreshing stacks of HOTS.

The healer. Always tunneling the healer (at least it serves some benefit) And my friends! Kill your friends first so you can talk smack later! (Also it's kinda fun to watch them rage quit)

Drag…What I would do after the 3.0 bump is go to the best healers on the server and have them write each portion of the thread, this way…you don't want to have someone writing a class guide that really doesn't have any idea what their doing and therefore you are not responsible for more upkeep (doing the DPS parses is enough). I.E. Ask Dath to write the scoundrel/operative healing section. Ask a good mando/merc to write the 2nd section. Ask a good sage/sorc to write the 3rd section. Have each section written in a word document and emailed or posted somewhere where you can retrieve and copy it here with nice formatting. Have each portion verified by another healer, include BIS stats, healing tips, etc. I'll be rolling on my mando 3.0 (it appears) so if you cannot find anyone else to do the guide. I'll throw my name into the hat for that one. (Will also throw my name in the hat in for running the thread if no one else volunteers (I'm not very good at formatting) P.S. my original post…wasn't supposed to set anybody off… was only trying to give some starter tips and offer some help! … I think people often forget that I was a rookie healer myself about 3-4 months ago, I certainly know I'm not anywhere near the best healer in the world (or on server) and am prone to making stupid mistakes like anyone else. A lot of people know that I will happily put in the time to help them out with gearing or healing, or stupid questions in general because I used to ask Dath questions about every time I healed (heck I still do once in a while) .
