There should be a new toggle feature on the Character Sheet that appears when you are wearing a certain armor piece that possesses a hood. It could just be a checkbox like everything else named "Hood" and by checking it, the hood on the armor comes up, and by unchecking it the hood on the armor goes back down. Just a small suggestion that I don't think would hurt anyone and I think would be pretty cool for the game.

Sounds like compensation is in order
