  1. Back in the day companions had far more than 4 abilities dude, specially hk, which had really nice ones. They may lack the manpower, but it is a nice idea. Also, quinn is not the center of the game ppl, there are companions far more interesting than him :rak_03:
  2. Yes, it sucks for you quinn lovers, now lets get to the point The idea is quite simple, and i would be glad if Bioware could implement it. Before ppl complain that some companions won't have this luxury stop and think that this is not something that might even happen. But lets explore the possibility a little bit. a) for the remaining companions instead of giving them an alliance signal (i think most ppl dislike these recruitment missions since they are to simple), they should have a chapter where we can play as them, and understand what they have been up to. In terms of content i think this would be a good idea. Not only good, but, i might be wrong here, i think a lot of ppl would actually enjoy playing as them and understand whaqt they have been up to. This is a long shot, but there is hope ;p.
  3. Interesting if you ppl think about what valkorion said "one of them is going to betray you" I always thought, nah this is not s poiler, apparently it was ;P. The next thing happening is the alliance getting destroyed, and i think this new order will succede, because Valkorion also said "remeber me when your Alliance burns to the ground" Kofte and kotet (although bad) told us that one of them would betray. Would never be lana because she has a complete different loyalty than theron, and theron might be working as a double agent, who knows. Honestly if he dies he dies. The same thing with lana, if she dies she dies, i'm not that fussed about it. I only care about
  4. I just think the game needs more random killings and since theron is a rep we could start with him, something like. (for females, before they uprise xD)Theron: I thought you loved me.... but in the end you have always been a sith, right? (for males) Theron: I guess that you have always been a stih, and that won't change... Your character (if female): You were good while it lasted now sayonara rep scum!!!!! (insert evil laughter muah ah:rak_04:) Your character (if male): I finally get rid of you, you nuinsance! :rak_04::rak_04::rak_04::rak_04:
  5. Nothing, the Force doesn't care about him, so Satele doesn't care either :rak_03:
  6. The problem of swtor is it places your character ast the center of the action.Everyone is Emperor or Empress by now. What the game developers should have doen is turn us into a character that was essential to the demise of Valkorion, not to be the ones doing it. The same thing for all other personal story, we should become the number one of everything, we should just be another darth or master, or general or bounty hunter hunter and go on go on
  7. Suzsi wow might have had real raiding in the past. Now with all macros that play the game for you it is not real raiding mate :rak_03:
  8. I don't think they are going to turn Marr and Saterle into some mindless pawns mate:rak_03:. Besides this is not give with one hand take with the other. Okay the alliance has served its purpose, but killing/destroying the alliance that way would be weird (note that i m against this charade)
  9. LI dying in a Bioware game isn't something without precedents. They did that on kotor, you could kill your loved interests there. And being able to do that is good. It is a shame that bioware hasn't gave players the option to randomly kills companions whenever we want. As a sith i would be displeased if a companion failed me, and probably kill him. If said companion was completly irrelevant Besides Lana and Theron, for the time they have been ingame, that is not longer than the original l.i.'s they should have a better romance story. The only big thing that happens is a kiss here and then and they throwing the ocasional "i love you". I would rather if Bioware payed less attention and resources on same sex romance and focused said resources on other aspects. Same sex romance is not a priority. Since the straight community is larger, i suppose, than the other ones. Besides we can't favour small parts of the community just for a random kissing and romance. When i created the thread my idea was not to talk about same sex romance , but one thing completly different, give more focus to other characters. Since Bioware implemented already a hk.55 chapter, what they should do is instead of having alliance alerts Bioware could make the returning companions playable in a small chapter. It sucks for those that already received the ones they wished. But anyways i'm not happy knowing that , but i move on at this point.
  10. I was on several large guilds before 4.0 and when 4.0 hit the game most of them basically disappeared. When i say large i say swtor large, not other mmo large. Also at least 3 of these guilds had at least 15-20 players always on. According to those players they left because they disliked the path Bioware was following. They pointed out several reasons: a) lack of operations b) lack of interesting, logical, and good story ( Dude i don't condne you for liking Zakuul, but you must admit that it is pretty fishy that both the republic and the empire never came across them, that or the Rakata. I think having an infinite fleet would raise some suspicion, besides in an era like swtor travelling is not an issue and at least someone would have made contact with it. c)lack of meaningful pvp content d) other reasons These were the main issues. And when you seen from 4 guilds a good 60 ppl leaving, plus i had 6 friends who left the game never to return. Although this is not a substancial number of subscribers it is nonetheless 66 ppl. And like me there was in 2015 a a good deal of players complaining that their guild after 4.0 were dead. There are threads about these, not hundreds, bt a good deal at least. I do not mind if they bring new stuff to swtor, but if they do at least do not throw half baked stuff. Do you think Zakuul story is well written ? Personally i do not. How does Bioware explain all the other major characters disappearing and no one knowing about them ? that has not been explained, Bioware vaguely said "they disappeared". Well, this is not a proper plan. Not just that but the story on some points was horribly done, doesn't matter if you were a force user or not. Force users barely use their powers, apart from valkorion intervention and you choking that blue hair chick, and some other minor interactions. The Valkorion . The way companions returned most of them is horrible. Not to mention that most just don't give a damn and basically did not put much effort on finding where you were. And on top of this, most of them were in the "old worlds" and they were unaware that we were making an alliance. I'm pretty sure that ppl like the Balmorran Guy from the consular story would at least tell the consular companions "hey guys i discovered your friend, go check him out". And the cherry on top of the cake is Rannos . The only god damn guy that said "i never stoped looking for you" was GOD DAMN QUIN :rak_04::rak_04: that has been immortalized on the Quin love thread xD, GOD DAMN QUIN, everyone else really sucks at their job finding you. I understadn that they could have a issue with Tanno Vick since the VA died, and i guess they are having issues hiring VA, but hey if it can't be voice acted give us a cinematic with text, i guess that would be better than a rushed half baked explanation:rak_04::rak_04: Unless the follow up to the traitor story and the Iokath are really well done i'm not sure how they will pull from this one. Well ppl will keep playing this because it is star wars. It is just a shame that they explore it soo poorly. And i say it again. They can introduce new stuff apart from Imps versus Reps, BUT if they do it do not throw half baked stuff. Bioware even said dead companions might return. Well i guess that makes sense if we are talking about Marr and other force users. I'm waiting to see how that turns out
  11. Because i've a different view i must dislike it ??? Star wars has a huge universe. A fact is that the majority of players disliked this new story, otherwise there wouldn't have been as many hate threads when the story was launch. Problems with the new story: a) rushed and non logical b) each character should have followed a different path, and not given the same one to everyone. There is a lot of the lore that can be explored. Not just for force users but for normal characters alike. Now it makes no sense how they implemented zakuul, there was no progression to it. It just appeared from no where
  12. The way swtor was made does not fit a mmo. Our character should not be the center of the action, that role should have been given to a npc. You might ask why, well everyone is the Emperor and Empress now, not sure how that fits. The commander should have been an old npc, marr, satele or another one, maybe jadus since he knew what the emperor was up to. our main character should have been the Queen, lets use chess terminology. Instead of being the one in charge we should have been part of the alliance to overthrown arcan and then vaylin, it would have made a lot more sense. And star wars is about imperial vs reps, sith versus jedi, the force. they are the key players, other faction may be included, but in the end it comes down to those two. This would be the same if in the next star wars movie an unstoppable new Empire appeared, overthrown the first order, and well i guess everyone would be happy with that.
  13. Hey you killed poor vette, you have no say on anything :eek::rak_02::rak_02: :rak_04::rak_04::rak_04::rak_04: But done :p
  14. Dude if you have a sith fighting for the Republic you don't call it a sith. Those rolls can fit with imperial agent and bounty hunter, but you do not call a light side sith fighting for the republic a sith, you call that a jedi. Explore the star wars universe, just do not keep the nonsense that is the eternal empire.
  15. There is no need to explain in a really long thread why the game should go back to its roots and be about imperials killing reps. Sometimes being simple is very effective, and i think the majority of the players enjoyed playing the vanilla personals stories. We are not going to argue which of them are better. If this thread receives some notoriety maybe bioware will adress the issue and, in some way or another, try to forget all this shananigans of the eternal alliance and go back to its roots What i think a good part of the community wants back: - personal stories, not one overall story that all classes play and makes it nonsense at some point. - conflicts between reps and imps without a third party that overpowers the previous players in the galaxy
  16. Well so far we have seen that Lana and Theron are the right hand the the conscience of the main character. This is something that is annoying me, because all the other space meatballs we call companions are only there to make number. Not sure if this is a problem of: a) bioware can't hire the previous voice actors b) they completly forgot to give some major rolls to old companions (i'm betting on this one) Also, since we are talking about companions and stuff that we wish to have returned a good idea for upcoming expanions would be to explore some areas of the galaxy. What do i mean. It doesn't need to be something related to the main story arc. We could have, somewhere in time, a discovey that was spreading rumors and chaos throughout the galaxy that some planets societies, life and faura were disappearing or being obliterated somehow. A good example of an operation that wasn't linked to main story is Ravagers. Bioware could start focusing on small updates, like other mmo's do and release more ops or content. I don't think that releasing one boss for the period of 12 months is what we can actually call progressing the right way, well it certainly is a step forward, but to slow, and ppl will lose interest on it. Ideas for Bioware: - new stories that aren't related to the main character, there is life outside the main character, Lana and Theron. Hard to believe but there is stuff happening, well there could be, but bioware makes it seem that the only think happening has those 3 guys on its center. Like we could halt the upcoming story with some side stories, exploring new stuff, new areas, new planets, new regions of the galaxy. I think this is something it should have been done instead of killing Vitiate (although i do not believe he is dead until Scourge appears in front of me and says he is really dead). The Emperor should hav been the last thing we killed in the game. I think, as probably a lot of ppl that, Bioware should have taken a different rout. Like Nathema could have been a planet with its own story, where we would go back in time, play as vitiate and do his ritual where he consumed everyone to become immortal. Then the player would discover some secrets and weak spots about Vitiate on the planet, but when he made this discovery he would be attacked by the zealots and had to make his escape. The idea would have been to make a new ops here, where instead of progressing to the final boss, we actually run from enemies and have to survive. Would be neat to see a different kind of operation, a new style of gameplay, where you don't actually have to kill major space potatoes that no one cares, but actually run from them and survive. I think all the main stories have given us good starting points to make an operation. Since bioware is focusing on only one story line what they could have done was pick one of the main stories, pick the lose ends and try to come up with something that would eventually lead to us defeating Vitiate. It is a shame that Vitiate is not a raid boss, where revan's ghosts would appear, shield us so we could struck the final blow. This is not a question of being a revan fan boy, but placing a major character that dedicated his life to kill the Emperor. Since this is no longer a viable option we have to see where the game will lead us. Although i would like to see some major characters from our old stories returning. The sith inquisitor basically had a small armada of ships, and his moff ran away when the Eternal Nonsense attacked. Unless he his having space martinis somewhere i think he should come baring some news about some danger he was fighting and blocking from attacking the empire. Lack of funds or good story writers has been an issue since 4.0 was implemented, but at least Bioware could here their player base.
  17. Can the pvp reward tokens be legacy and not character bound. Otherwise some of my character will have wasted tokens that i can't give use. Don't think this hurts the gameplay. I just want to play on one character more than the others, and being forced to play the equal amout of time on both to get the elo i desire or tokens is frustrating. Eric if you can tell this to keith i would really appreciate
  18. Since last week me and some of my guildies and friends have been experiencing some performace issues while playing. One of us even has a i7 7700k , 32 gb of ram. We play on the red eclipse. Is this something that is occuring on other servers? Apart from Harbinger where the hamster is dying from what i hear, since there are a lot of issues there
  19. The thing is Ranos talked with Scourge and he was on a quest to end his immortality. Now the question here is. Did Rannos speak with Scoruge after we killed Vitiate or before? I honestly don't remember when we hired her into our cannonfodder companion army. But if she spoke with him after we killed the Emperor and he is still immortal, that means tat Vitiate is still alive. Since Scourge said he would remain immortal till Vitiate was destroyed. Also if Vitiate had died he would have made everything he could to find the knight. The only reason he sided with the knight is he though he was the chosen one (on star wars there are indeed a lot of chosen one's XD). Well in 18 days we will know what is happening on Umbara. Lets hope the story is good.
  20. This is why created a thread about Valkorion. Scourge said that he would only be free of his curse when the emperor was dead. Since he is still imortal Valkorion is still alive. Of course, we should take inconsideration that Ranos met scourge before we "killed vitiate"
  21. Here is a cool idea, Theron: for all the suffering you've put me threw, i'm not sure how to look at you: A: kill Satele (blast her in the head) B: kill Satele ( our character will force choke her :D ) C: Leave and never talk to her again (your charater knocks her unconscious )
  22. Tell whoever changed rating for ranked id a "good job"
