  1. Hey everyone Morendai here! I wanted to post a an update of my recent videos! Today I was finally able to complete the First chapter of the Sith Warrior Storyline and had an amazing time recording all of it! I hope some of you will check out the playthrough and share your thoughts! you can check out the entire playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhPS_2Qnt0c&list=PLR5q2EKRkY7WGmSW757V7eGj0fLor5AjX Further more, I was also able to upload another warzone video along with (drum roll) my first commentary! which I'm really excited about! I'd love to hear thoughts on that as well, you can check that video out in the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWT3Cl9cMRo&list=PLR5q2EKRkY7Vk3bq_oHDME_9VIrbz0tDS&index=4 Feel free to leave a comment, and any likes and subs are greatly appreciated! I had a blast recording and editing these videos and greatly look forward to releasing them more frequently. Regards, Morendai
  2. Greetings to all, With my growing interest in Warzones and Pvp combat, I will be posting more frequently. My hopes in doing so is to play the different classes and specs that SWTOR has to offer in order to find what playstyle most fits me, and what I personally get the most enjoyment out of. I plan on exploring all of the different specs and talents of each class in order to accomplish this task and would greatly enjoy if all of you joined me on my journey. I am currently working on my Sith Juggernaut (Vengeance spec) as well as progressing through the storyline. As I have already leveled as Vengeance, once I complete the first chapter I will be playing Rage spec next, and finishing off with Immortal spec last. Keep in mind all of this is just a guideline and anything may change. I may pick up a new class relatively soon as well just to have some perspective on what playstyle I enjoy sooner. If anyone has recommendations on what class they would like to see content for, please feel free to chime in with your thoughts. I will be posting a new video tonight and hopefully finishing off chapter 1 of the sith warrior storyline, so keep an eye out. Thanks to all for reading this update, and may the force be with you! Regards, Morendai

  8. Hey everyone! I just finished uploading a few more videos over these past few days. I recently started to record warzones, and I've made a post about it on the PvP forums, however I wanted to add some links here as well. My first Warzone on my Sith Juggernaut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE5m5WeCCmM&t=17s Sith Juggernaut - Voidstar Map just uploaded today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOjOYf7Mb44&t=29s In this upcoming week I am going to be also finishing the complete chapter 1 of the Sith Warrior storyline, as well as a few more warzones. I have also had the desire to start a new class possibly, just to have some variety now that I am level 30 in-game. I was thinking possibly Bounty Hunter or Trooper. I'll keep this post updated to let everyone know. Regards, Morendai
  9. After reading all of the feedback I tweaked a few things and I definitely noticed an improvement! Here is how I fared in my first Voidstar game on my juggernaut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOjOYf7Mb44 The changes I made since my last WZ are as follows: - tweaked UI as suggested so i can better manage my CDs - used Impale as much as possible in my rotation (it made a big difference) - kept guard up on teammates as much as possible - focused more heavily on objectives of the map I still have a few other changes to make with camera angles and UI adjustment, so keep the feedback coming, and I look forward to posting alot more! Regards, Morendai
  10. Thank you all for the amazing and constructive feedback!. I will definitely read up on everything and adjust some of the things mentioned by everyone to improve and hopefully show that in the next video! Also feel free to check out some of the other videos I have and let me know what you think. Regards, Morendai
  11. Hey everyone, I've been wanting to do this for a while, and I finally got down to being able to record my very first warzone on my sith juggernaut. I know I probably didn't do the best, however i was able to make a pretty decent pass towards the end to get us the lead. I really had a lot of fun and will probably keep doing more videos like this to keep a record of my progress. I wanted to link the video incase anyone wanted to take a look and let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE5m5WeCCmM I will also finish up the SIth Warrior chapter 1 sometime in the next few days as well. I hope everyone enjoys the video and leaves a comment with their thoughts. I have created a playlist on my channel that will explore all of the classes and their specs in SWTOR. Once I finish leveling my Sith Warrior (Currently Vengeance spec) and the Main Storyline, I will pick and try a new class, rinse and repeat in order to find my playstyle and what I personal enjoy most. Most importantly I look forward to learning and having fun along with way. 14. Hello everyone! before anything else, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Morendai and I am a new YouTuber that would very much love to provide content for the Gaming Community, particularly SWTOR. The Old Republic has been a fantastic game that i have always been able to fully immerse myself in, one that I have enjoyed playing very much since launch. I have always enjoyed every aspect of the game, and would like to showcase all of these aspects and more with the beginning of this channel. I know that there are others, however I also believe that we are stronger as a community, and that this will strengthen that community. Please check out my channel when you have the time, and feel free to subscribe. I will do my best to provide content as frequently as possible, however with just starting out i don't want to get too far ahead of myself either. I will begin with the original class stories, and possibly some warzone and flashpoint content, and then see how it goes from there. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read this, and hope to see you in the comments!! 15. Hello all, Ill just get right to the point, I'm interested in recording and uploading SWTOR game content. I have a good PC set up that I built myself, these are its current stats: RAM" 16.0 GB 64 bit operating system, x64-based processor Processor: Intel® Core i75820k CPU @ 3.30GHz Graphics Card: ASUS GTX GeForce GTX 970 TURBO If theres anything I'm missing please let me know so I can post it. My question now is about my Monitor. Assuming I want to record in ultra high graphics and 60FPS, the current monitor is from my much older previous PC and it is a 60GHz monitor, 5ms response time. I am thinking of buying a new one and my question is, will a lower response time and higher GHz allow me to show better and smoother videos? I'm aware that the main this is my RIG set up, but will a faster and higher GHz monitor also help me and allow me to show everything with less stutter, smoother transitions, and better gameplay for example when showing cut scenes transfer from one to the next in the stories on swtor? Any help and advice is appreciated, Cheers Taurros
  16. I personally would love a Stronghold on Rishi or Hoth, but preferably Rishi. If they did that right it be perfect for a Underworld type theme Stronghold or Base.
  17. Hello Everyone, As the title says, I am curious about the opening cut scene that happens when you first enter/purchase a stronghold. Is that cut scene a 1 time deal for when you purchase a particular SH? or does it re-occur whenever I go to that SH on a alt perhaps or different character for the first time? I ask because id like to record it for my YouTube channel. Appreciate any helpful responses Cheers, Taurros Markeel
  18. I completely forgot about Dathomir! I loved that planet back in the SWG days, hunting down all of the Rancor nests lol
  19. Please consider the following Planet's for future content! (Quests, PvP Map's, Story Content, Strongholds, etc...) - Bespin - Concord Dawn - Dagobah - Dantooine - Endor - Gamorr - Geonosis - Iridonia - Jakku - Kamino - Kashyyyk - Kessel - Kintan - Kuat - Mandalore - Mirial - Mustafar - Rattatak - Ryloth - Utapau These are the ones I could think of off the top of my head, feel free to add more and ones I forgot to mention, I'm sure there are plenty! Cheers, Taurros Markeel:wea_09:
  20. How about in regards to theme? do you think Mandalorian Hunter/Enclave sounds more appealing or Republic Trooper Base??
  21. Hello everyone, I was able to recently get the credits together to buy one of the larger Strongholds. The problem I'm having is that I have 2 themes that I want to explore and create my stronghold around in terms of decorating and I cant decide which to go with first. I was hoping to get some suggestions and votes to see what might be a better idea from you guys! My first idea is to have a stronghold that is Bounty Hunter themed! this will feature a trophy room of all the most dangerous hunts my BH has been on, a carbonite wall, armory, weapons room, bestiary which contains exotic creatures from the different parts of the galaxy I've been to, Mandalorian's, bounty hunter holding cell area, mission terminal area and so on. Of course there will also be an Underworld style cantina and gambling hall where only the galaxies finest (and most dangerous) underworld scum hang out, Holo dancers and so on! Finally, which location would suit this more Tatooine or Yavin? My second concept idea is a Republic Military type of Stronghold. Like a Military Base full of Troopers (republic side). This theme will have a medical facility, barracks, Military Vehicle garage, an entire Prison filled with carbonite criminals along with guards, prison cells etc.. also there will be a cantina for the men of service to relax and have a few drinks in an on base cantina. There will also be patrols, turrets and a target range and training ground for combat! Finally just as with the first concept, Tatooine or Yavin! Please read this over and any suggestions and opinions you guys can help me out with would be awesome! look forward to read your response!! Cheers, Taurros Markeel
  22. Thank you all for the responses! let me take the time to address some of them. in regards to Kings post about the force user classes, yes I do see how this is an issue for the mirror classes that use the same weapon, but maybe for those like Anysao suggested it can be an ability trade off or something of that nature? I'll have to do some brainstorming and see what I can come up with. Clone_Enforcer, I'm not certain that the names would have to be changed because players that have played both sides of that classes or classes are already familiar with the different ability names. The only thing that would change is the weapon animation and how your classes uses its skills with that weapon, what I'm trying to say is for example if your do Scatter Shots with a Mercenary it would still be scatter shots, but with an assault cannon if you so choose to make the swap. In regards to the price, I wanted to set a price that is high so that its not abused or something that people keep doing back and forth so that it doesn't cause an unbalanced effect of everyone doing it left and right and can still be something unique and special. I also read over your Bright sides and I loved those ideas a lot as well! perhaps something along those lines would work just as well?
  23. Introduction: Hello Everyone! I would like to introduce to you the brand new Weapon Swap system! This system will offer the opportunity for Mirror classes to swap weapons with the respected mirror class of the opposite faction! Purpose The purpose of this system is to add diversity and more options for players to customize their characters in regards to animations and gameplay. Many players have been asking to either remove weapon restrictions from certain weapons, or for certain classes to be able to use certain weapons either opposing classes already use. With this system we are able to keep the restrictions with a certain class type; Example(Vanguard/Powertech, Smuggler/Agent etc...) and still give diversity and creativity to allow players to customize and enjoy their characters. The fee will also ensure players do not abuse this privilege and as well add to the economy and Cartel Market. How will it work? For a fee of 3000 Cartel Coins or 15,000,000 Galactic credits, players will be able to swap the weapon restriction their class currently has for the opposite of the opposing faction! for example, If you are a power tech and currently use a blaster pistol, for this fee you will be able to go to your respective class trainer and obtain the ability to use a Blaster Rifle specialization, which is normally what the vanguard class uses on republic side! Respectively, if you are a smuggler you will be able to switch to a Sniper rifle specialization, or an Operative will be able to use dual pistols. If you ever wish to switch back you must wait at least 72 hours in order to switch back for the same fee. This feature will be available to all classes and their respective mirror counterparts. Why Its a good idea? Want to be a trooper and use dual wield blaster pistols like Captain Rex? Instead of a Blaster Rifle or Assault Cannon? Ever feel the need live the fantasy of using a Blaster Rifle like Boba Fett but can't? Well this is how we solve that problem! This being the Star Wars universe, diversity within it has always been one if its key factors. We further enable players to add and fulfill the fantasy being able to play like their favorite Star wars Characters by The Implementation of this system. The system does not completely remove weapon restrictions however offers a unique alternative, and also the animations, and mechanics for all of these changes currently exist and are already within the game. Many NPCs and none player characters already posses these abilities, animations and it can be implemented as quality of life patch or future expansion addition. This provides players for further creativity, customization and ways to play their characters, as well as creates more options for packs on the cartel market, loot and crafting specializations to have a more interactive role within the game! Conclusion In conclusion, I did not want to make this post too lengthy and wanted to give a brief summary of a proposed system of how to better certain aspects of the game and quality of the SWTOR gaming community. If any other players have more ideas on how this might be possible or to add how it might work please feel free to chime in! as a final note, please be civil and respectful I look forward to reading all of your responses!! Sincerely, Taurros Markeel:wea_09:
  24. Thank you both for your feedback. As I said I do not post on the forums regularly, and this was my first attempt at a constructive review type post. I will look over my post again and edit it accordingly to make it more reader friendly. Best Regards, Taurros
  25. Dear Developers, My intention with this post is to feedback and suggestions as requested on your most recent livestream. I will cover various aspects/changes to the game which include Companions, Player vs Player, Quests etc. Before I begin I would like to bring to your attention that I have been playing SWTOR since launch and have always enjoyed every single aspect the game as had to offer equally, this includes crafting, questing, pvp, strongholds, environmental detail, character design, and so on. I have been playing MMOs and have played the majority of all MMOs over the past decade and I frequently revisit all of them to observe the changes they have gone through and how they play throughout the years, However; what SWTOR has always had to offer over all others (besides storyline and voice content) is that the game mechanics and key features with which the game launched with had always been the same and never changed. First I would like to start off with Companions. One of the key and most unique aspects of SWTOR is companions. Pre 4.0 you were able to gear them out just like you would your own character, and each had a specific role to fill, which also added to the companions unique nature and gameplay. Post 4.0 I believe this is all gone. Because of the recent changes all companions now are generic and fill the same role, yes you could switch the roles they fill but it no longer makes them unique and fun, the removal of being able to gear them specifically also makes them stale and boring. I am certain many others in the community will agree with this point of you, and before some think I am trying to argue or start trouble, I am not. These changes of making the companions more generic and removing their gear customization, to me were unnecessary and I will say why. When you play through the story with your character and come across your various companions, each one filled a specific role, this brought about excitement for most. Each companions filled a niche which was put there so that when you couldn't come across a group, or play with a friend, your companion filled that spot. Now it would be easy to say well now all of your companions can do that! yes, that is true but none of them now are unique, which makes the game less unique, which now doesn't give any point into having so many of them. Once you get your companion on a starter planet, since they can fill all of the roles now then what is the point of looking forward or having the rest? Also in regards to gearing, I'm not sure about others but as for me when I got to craft armor for each companion or gear each one out separately, that was time I enjoyed spending when I'm not raiding, or doing a warzone. It was something unique no other game offered and something ELSE the game offered. I know some think of this as tedious or unnecessary, but if that's the case no one was ever forced into doing so. I am also aware that there is an issue of how overpowered companions were and that's the reason for the nerf, however they are more overpowered now than before. Before you actually had to go through the effort of getting the appropriate gear in order for them to reach that level of effectiveness in the first place, so to me that was working as intended. In conclusion two of the key features which SWTOR that made it unique were removed and based on the e community response, I would from a business and marketing perspective revert these changes, because if something isn't broken why fix it? and also if your product has a unique and key feature over your completions (other MMOs) why would you remove your edge? The second Topic I would like to address is the removal of gear and items from quests that were apart of the classic game (pre 4.0) and have been around since the beginning. Quest items which people still repeated and went through the effort to do exactly because of those items are now gone. If you know the trend of MMOs once old content is replaced by newer content, players seldom revisit it, that is were SWTOR stood apart from the rest. Content you had covered at level 15 would still be content for you to possibly redo at 50 (heroic quests to be specific) either for the gear it offered or the weapon. This key feature which offered so many customization options and rewards is now also gone, and again with no logical reason, from a game or business perspective. In a previous livestream you the developers even stood proud and announced that one of the things yo pride yourselves on is never the removal of any old content, because you were in touch your player base and never wanted to remove things we as your customers and players love. That is why the removal of these quest items and rewards is so counter intuitive. The next topic ties into the previous paragraph but it is in regards to the removal of all of the fleet vendors and their gear. I do not want to go on repeating myself, but why remove content which has been around and a core part of the game that made it unique and enjoyable, which as a player and customer was satisfactory and offered many avenues of customization and individual playstyle? all of these items in those vendors which players used and found very helpful to level with are gone. I for one can remember always visiting each vendor on a character whether it be to complete a look, have my character look a certain way for a story or quest, or even just to gear out my companions. In conclusion, All of these features are vey important and I recognize that the decisions in the larger scale isn't mine as to how the game works. However; as a paying customer and loyal player for the past 4 years, I wanted to voice my concern. I really do enjoy this game and I have always appreciated the fact that I never had to lose the content and things I love about it when I took a break and came back or even just started a new character. I am aware that a lot of companies also copy and take ideas from each other in regards to games like this, however SWTOR has always done a good job of being unique and standing out and only taking what it needed. Solutions, Revert the changes that never needed to take place and continue with adding content but keeping what has always been apart of this game APART of the game. It will also show that you truly listen to your customers and people you want to keep playing. The point I am trying to make stand by your words, do not continue this trend of removing content or changing things that do not need to be changed. Stay unique and stick to your own plan and vision, learning from an outside source and taking ideas is always good, but being unique and standing out is where you'll find success and growth. Sincerely, Taurros Markeel Prophecy of the Five Server P.S. Please keep responses to this post civil. I do not post on the forums frequently, but would love to listen and get more feedback and additional opinions. Please no Trolling or unneeded vulgar comments, you'll only do discredit to the community
