  1. I have been playing since the release of the game and during this time I have accumulated a huge collection of weapons bought for cartel coins that I bought for real money and now this whole collection is useless.

     

    i wrote this topic while i was a bit furious and got lost in the technical aspects and i totally forgot about this

    - i get that you have " priorities " but leave them

    - you made 2 critical mistakes this expansion :

    1) you gave everyone 6 disciplines but you don't let them " select " which one

    2) you just removed " collections " , " crew skills " , " mods " from the game , and basically removed " accuracy "

     

    take this SERIOUSLY , people will start unsubbing

    i have been modding games for years , this is fixable in 1 afternoon

  2. Agreed. It completely defeats the purpose of secondary skillsets. I understand not being about to switch mid instance, but not being able to change after group finder makes absolutely no sense.

    there is absolutely NO REASON to put weird restrictions

    if you enter a MM flash or Operations and refuse to play your role you will be kicked

     

    - you are just annoying everyone by giving them disciplines but not allowing them to play the disciplines

  3. i don't know who made the new gear but i can tell whoever made it did NOT play mmo's

     

    here are the problems :

     

    - you cannot get hit capped now , so you just miss abilities and screw up your rotation

    - screws up Crew Skills - all crew skill become irrelevant because you now are F O R C E D to augment ALL your gear with HIT RATING augments

    - new implants ARE a good change ... however .... because there are NO MODS you cannot reach hit cap anymore because they are locked with " critical rating " & " alacrity "

     

    What needs to be done :

     

    - make 320+ gear moddable : Armoring + Mod + Enhancements

    - make implants moddable : mod + enhancement ( no armoring ) .... ear pieces too

     

    this is the SECOND catastrophic mistake you made this expansion , and i frankly cannot believe you did it after 10 years of experience running an MMO

     

    - did no-one there realize you need to be hit capped so you can pass " burn dps " phases on bosses ?

    - how do i pass a " dps check " mechanic where i have to do alot of damage in a short ammount of time is my spells are missing the target because the gear has no Accuracy on it ! ! :confused:

     

    oh and if it's not painfully obvious .... FIX IT NOW !!!! don't even bother with other things

  4. i have had trouble with the bonus boss , and the computer boss

     

    - bonus boss ( 3 droids ) ware not getting stunned by each others' abilities

    slim bot > yellow line NOT stunning floater bot

    floater bot > yellow circle NOT stunning fat bot

     

    - computer boss

    adds ware spawning way too quickly and overwhelmed us

     

    P.S - people that have trouble like OP should at least post what they had trouble with

  5. What sort of model do you think she would get? Maybe they'll taunt us again with another hair under the hood model. :D

     

    - the magic is kind of taken away if they stick her in a different model

    - at the very least there should be " cartel market customizations "

     

    a) classic look - the ones she gets in Chapter I +

    b) remodeled Long Blonde Hair + Blue eyes ( like in the trailer )

  6. - Veteran Mode Flashpoints : do NOT require a tank or healer , everyone plays dps and you use the green kolto when you are low on life

    - Master Mode Flashpoints : require Tank + Healer

     

    when you try to speed up the run :

    - make sure people are above 80% heal ... ALL of them , even YOU as tank

    - make sure the healer has above 80% energy

    - keep the 2 sec rule ... you can start the next group and build aggro IF the DPS players CAN finish whatever is left in the last group in 2 seconds

     

    if you run ahead , while the dps have to take 10 more seconds to kill a mob and another 10 seconds to get to you , there is a high chance you will die in 20 seconds

  7. Besides, why would any Outlander in their right mind want to preserve her dead body ?

    - there are people ... in their right mind or not , that would do it ... like " Senya "

    - also Sana-Rae sees things , maybe one thing that she saw was , Vaylin helping you against Valkorion , why not preserve her body in case " Valkorion dies " and Vaylin's force manifestation is released

  8. Being with Satele and the other Jedi I think that's a possibility. I hope they give her 'Syl' a unique model too. :)

     

    this is how i would do it :

     

    - you are asked to go look for Syl because she is missing and is not answering the holocom

    - searching for her you end up on the Nathema hidden base , where you meet ... Senya & Arcann

    - searching deeper into the facility you meet Vaylin that in the meantime managed to recover her original body using the force ritual of Essence Transfer

    - during the fight you get separated and Senya + Vaylin land on one side & Player + Arcann on the other side , between them a transparent barrier ( like in the movies , so u get to see what 's on the other side )

    - Vaylin manages to strike Senya down ... accomplishing her goal to kill her mother

    - after a few moments Vaylin realizes what she has done and regretting it drops her lightsaber and rushes back and heals Senya

    - in the meantime Player + Arcann arrive at the scene , and Arcann helps Vaylin heal Senya

  9. I don't think you understood the story

    it's hard to tell which is which

    - at first you see Valkorion & Vitiate ... and Satele Shan has memories of both

    - but then you see Tenebrae .... BUT Satele does NOT have memories of him

     

    anyway i am going to end this debate about how this new force ritual of animating a person from memories works

     

    BECAUSE

  10. yeah the word " immersive breaking " is on point

    - i have all 8 classes and i can understand what " IS HAPPENING " when you play them

    BUT scoundrels ? ... when i am playing i do NOT know what is happening

    - do i just run across the battlefield and flail my pistol grip ?

    - in the trailer of the game the smuggler Niko Okarr is shooting at the attacking force ... i don't see him running in melee range smacking Malgus & Vidican with the pistol grip

     

    my own suggestion :

    - make Ruffian a dedicated ranged class

    - give Scrapper access to : Vibroblades / Lightsabers ... to justify the melee nature of the specialization

     

    P.S - of course Scrapper will only be able to equip Lightsabers but they will NOT have any kind of access to " force powers " ... and their abilities will remain that of a standard Vibroblade melee combatant

  11. As several have said .. please do not resurrect another one !! UGH !

    well we're NOT asking for a WHOLE EXPANSION where everything is about resurrecting Vaylin

    - all we want is to have the option to redeem her ... at best like half a Chapter worth of content

    ----------------------------------------------------

    She is focused on herself and has nothing but contempt everyone

    - in an RPG game you should have the option to have different choices on how to end a confrontation

     

    --------- in the Knights of the Eternal Throne story -------------

     

    - IF you choose " threatening " options : Vaylin would remain hostile & kill one of your companions + side with Valkorion against you

    BUT

    - IF you choose " peaceful " options : Vaylin would agree to cease hostilities and NOT kill one of your companions & help fight against Valkorion

     

    ---------------------- this is what an RPG should be about ---------------------------------------------------

     

    - if you personally want to " kill everything " go ahead

     

    - BUT others want to redeem , end conflicts peacefully ...maybe give Senya her daughter back after all she's been thru

  12. Probably a hasty plot, short implementation time, cutting the plot and budget, a hasty return to the vanilla confrontation between the factions - I think this is the answer to why.:rak_02::rak_02::rak_02:

    - that's the problem with the story of Knight of the Eternal Throne , you just don't get options roleplaying wise

    - it should be ... based on how you talk with Vaylin during the campaign that you would be given the option to Kill / Redeem her

    - if u threaten her in your dialogues during the story then she won't end the conflict with you

    - BUT if you try the peaceful route she will agree maybe later on to cease hostilities somehow

     

    and it happened again in 6.2 - Echoes of Oblivion , there is no choice on how to " solve " the conflict

    - i kinda wanted to see an option to talk with Vitiate , talk with Valkorion , MAYBE convince them to help you against Tenebrae in exchange for releasing them when the fight is over.

    - have Valkorion ( no longer possesed by Tenebrae return to Zakuul )

    - have Vitiate ( no longer possesed by Tenebrae return to Dormund Kass )

     

    you're just not given choices anymore , in the vanilla story you always had choices to deal with conflicts
