  1. Jaessa is perfect as she was, able to sense anyone’s motives and ready to kill at a moment’s notice, she’d make a great Wrath for the Emperor of the Alliance.
  2. Worst comes to it, you still get him from beating Solo + with someone else.
  3. I haven't any of the Jedi stories, so I cannot speak for them, but, in what world is Ashara not her own character ? She has her own set of principles that she will stick to no matter what, and will never budge from her position as a light sider, even when she renounces the Jedi. Now, we can talk about the inconsistent writing in Ashara's story, when it comes to her relationship with the Jedi, but, bad writing seems to plauge that whole class, so it's a conversation for another time. It's also, to the best of my knowledge, the LS Jaesa is not romancable at all, and Kira is, likewise, pretty set in her beliefs in the Jedi way, but, this is all second hand knowledge to me. However, at any rate, yeah, you could make the argument that there is an uneven power balance between a master, and apprentice, but, then again, there is an uneven power balance between all the companions, and player characters. Like I said, I haven't played the Jedi Classes yet, so I have no comment on them, but, as far as the Sith go, they honestly couldn't have a balanced relationship, one was a Dark Councilor, and the other was the Emperor's Wrath, they can kill on a whim without fear of consequence, and are unbeholden to anyone in the Galaxy.
  4. That would be an interesting thought if characters like, say, Quinn, weren't lower on the Imperial pecking order then Sith like, say, Jaessa.
  5. I consider it to have transcended mere gameplay mechanics when Katarn directly references it in character.
  6. Isn't just TOR where this happens. Both Kyle Katarn. and Jaden Korr could freely use darkside abilities without embracing the dark side. Katarn would go so far as to say that techniques are not inherently dark or light, and all that mattered was how they were used.
  7. I don't think it was represents the entirety of Zakuuls economy, otherwise, they'd have collapsed in this chapter, but, rather, just a absurd amount of precious metals in one place.
  8. I can't say I can imagine DS Jaessa and Ashara getting along, seeing as DS Jaessa hunted down LS Sith for a living. Now Jaessa, and Scourge on the other hand...
  9. Over 97 percent of the Empire's human population has Sith Blood flowing through them, you're just looking at this from the wrong perspective. To the Emperials, Sith Purebloods aren't aliens, those who physically shows traits of the old Sith race are considered to be even more pure then those who look like humans.
  10. I believe the Sith version is "May the Force serve you well.".
  11. I would be inclined to believe this as well. Many people think that Valkarion is a rouge servant of the Vitiate. I, however, believe the opposite is true. I haven't played this game in about a year and a half, so my memory may be rusty, but I seem to recall the Emperor spreading his consciousness between several entities (Voices, Children, Valk). After the events of all the class stories, and SoR, the Emperor is revived with all of these entities nullified, saved one. I think Valk all the parts of the Sith Emperor constructed into the whole, rather then just another fragment.
  12. There probably weren't nearly as many Jedi on that planet as you think. According to Zez-Kai, after the Jedi Civil War, there were barely 100 jedi left.
  13. I would make the argument that Vaylin is different from DS Sith, at least, the smart ones anyways. While a Sith will kill readily, it is typically for a purpose, to advance on self or the Empire, to discourage failure or cowardice, it's used as a means to an end. Vaylin kills for the sake of killing, see "I hate odd numbers."
  14. It seemed to me that she didn't actually care all that much about the lose of Knights, in fact, she once killed several just because she dislikes odd numbers. I think it's more that she was mocking Arcann, in fact, her dismissal of his ponderings on Thexan seem to similarly be a jab at him. Perhaps I'm imagining things, but it seems to me in every conversation Arcann has with Vaylin, he's on edge, like he's afraid of her, or of what she could become, and she seems to act on this for her own amusement, most notably, when she snatched his lightsaber from his hand. Her codex entry refers to her as ambitious, and likens her behavior to a predator studying it's prey, and I think that's what's happening here. If she does eventually kill Arcann, it will be not for love of Zakuul, but, simply because she could.
  15. Apparently it was stated in some live stream. You can also go in the game right now, and click Play Chapter, and the preview picture shows Vette.
  16. Valkarion states that he became as powerful as he is by abandoning the Sith teachings, and embracing a life he'd never be able to as a Sith, you disagreeing isn't really relevant. Revan was powerful enough to what ? Defeat the Mandalorians he outnumbered by a huge margin (I believe Canderous states 30 to 1, but it's been a while) ? Take over half the Galaxy because he found a magical ancient alien device that the known Galaxy couldn't hope to match (hey, that sounds familiar.) ? To beat his own apprentice ? Not really all that impressive. Nihilus' ability to consume worlds came from him being a wound in the force, Kreia directly states this. Likewise, the Exile's ability to resist this came from her being a wound in the force. But since Valkarion could do everything Nihilus could do anyways, without being a wound in the Force, and losing any semblence of Humanity, I have no idea why you think he's a compelling example. The Dread Masters are six different people who have to combine their power to achieve that effect, and, again, Jaeric being able to defeat them when they weren't on Oricon speaks very negatively to their ability in combat. Additionally, you trying to prove your point by bringing up scenerios like fighting Arcann on Korriban where we'd have outside help (This isn't even mentioning how Arcann already ROLFstomped Korriban), or having the Dread Master go six on one with him speaks to how powerful the guy is.
  17. Senya has stated that even as children, her offspring had surpassed her.
  18. I said the current Sith and Jedi in the Galaxy, everyone you listed in the first sentence is dead. but i'll humor you anyways. Valkarion is no longer a Sith, and no longer draws exclusively from the Dark Side, and he states himself to be stronger for it. I have no idea why you bring up Revan, his strength comes from balancing Light and Darkness, and if anything, he reinforces the idea that transcending Jedi, and Sith is the way to power. Darth Nihilus and the Exile were only powerful due to becoming wounds in the force, with one becoming a husk who only knew hunger, and the other seeming to have lost any extraordinary ability upon losing this trait. The Dread Masters had to pool the power of six ancient Sith Lords together to reach extraordinary heights, and even then, when they weren't on Oricon, they could be defeated by Jeric Kaeden of all people. I don't know enough about Exar Kun to comment.
  19. Perhaps this will sound strange, but I don't think you can count gameplay as an accurate representation of lore, unless we are to believe that our characters can survive hundreds upon thousands of blaster bolts, and light saber swings hitting them.
  20. Disagree, while the Eternal Fleet was the biggest instrument in Zakuul's dominance of the galaxy, I don't believe we have seen anyone even come close to matching Vaylin, Valkarion, or Arcann. They seem almost as demi gods before the current cast of Jedi and Sith in the galaxy. I can understand the sheer power of the Zakuulian empire, both in military might, and in the Force, driving someone to the breaking point, it's happened before, just look to Darth Krayt for an example.
  21. That's what I'm saying. The criticism I'm seeing on here of Rebels mirrors the exact same criticism that the Clone Wars received early on.
  22. I was far from a consistent watcher, but, from what I saw, TCW only got darker latter into it's run.
  23. I always love when they have Steve Blum, even more so when he's not doing the Spike Spiegel voice again.
  24. Oh yes, so your right. I thought he meant how the player always went second vs the AI.
