Hello Ebon Hawk! Back as usual, <The Remnants of Hope>, in correlation with the Ebon Hawk community and the EGHA, are bringing another month of dueling fun! The rules will remain the same, and as a refresher, they are posted here. TIME / PLACE: Place: Sabir's Nar Shadaa Stronghold Time: Saturday, May 28th @ 8 PM EST (Invites will be sent upon fund transfer / whisper) Entry Fee: 100k Stream Link: TBA Bracket: TBA RULES: - Best out of three rounds. - Double elimination tournament format. - 5 minute time limit per round, winner being highest HP at the end. - All classes and specs permitted. - All consumables permitted. - Sap + out of combat healing NOT permitted. - Stealthing out and healing out of combat WITHOUT sap is permitted. - Sap + healing with class abilities or medpacks is permitted. - Each class will be limited to THREE (3) players per class for the main tournament. - If we have more than three people per class, single elimination pre-qualification rounds will be conducted. - Anyone knocked out during pre-qualifiers can still participate with a class that has less than 3 players entered. REWARDS: - Top 3 players of different CLASSES get rewards (determined by overall tournament ranking) - 1st Place takes 50% of prize purse - 2nd Place takes 30% of prize purse - 3rd Place takes 20% of prize purse - Grand Prize will be awarded based on popular vote by attendees. To clarify the rewards; Three players will be awarded at the end of the tournament, however only one player from a given class can win. So only the top sorc/sage, merc/mando, op/scoundrel, etc. will have a chance at a prize. The top three rewards will be handed out based on these player's overall standing in the tournament. So if sages take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall, but a PT takes 4th, and a guardian takes 5th, the three players that will be rewarded are the 1st place sage, the 4th place PT, and the 5th place guardian. If you're confused, feel free to ask questions. Ultimately the end result is the same - the farther you get in the tournament, the better the potential reward. After these three people are given the base credit rewards, all present spectators and participants may cast a vote for who they feel deserves the grand prize. Arena design will be changed again.
