You should remember though that comparing maximum results is not entirely reliable. To get more accurate comparison average dps needs to be compared

Alacrity does absolutely nothing to fix rotation since everything just speeds up equally (but please correct me if i am wrong). And yes Force Leech needs to be either made instant and have 15 s CD or what you wrote I like the changes you propose , with buff to Death Mark up to 15 % it should give ~7-8 % which is preciselly what spec needs.

I agree, unfortunately Balance cannot be fixed by buffs only. Rotation requires some adjustements as well

True, but that is with old setbonus and they are balancing stuff for new ones so Balance is supposed to parse way higher that it currently does since all it can reach with old one is above 4.7k being lucky. And even then it still sucks compared to other sustained specs since 4.7k is baseline for those classes (or even lower, i am not sure)

I would definetly like to see a 4.7k on Balance... Haven't seen a single parse. Considering that with full 198 + 192 MH i almost never saw parses above 4.450 i seriously doubt 4.7k is achievable. But even if it is, 4.8-5.1 is average dps for all other specs while 4.7 for Balance is absolute maximum

I know, I meant that is how devs want and expect us to play and thus DPS with new setbonus is what they aim as a target number. Which makes me think that Gunnery performance is also fine by them

@DeedeeSu if you think that 4670( that is the average of your parses) is a decent number for a Sorc running with old setbonus then think again. As soon as you drop it you will get 4450 - 4500ish on average which is damn pathetic

Reality is harsh for this one: Sage/Sorc has no viable PvE spec for progression on HM/NiM after 3.1.2. I have a feeling that nerfs for other classes to bring them in line are probably coming in the future.

Was parsing for an extended period of time tonight. Majority of parses land in 4.550 - 4.650 with baseline being ~4.450 and very rare parses with good crits being 4.750-4.800... Used to parse 5.250 before that with always being able to hit 4.900 at least. Dumb and dumber, i know you have a new work at BW Austin

Nothing odd really, same stuff as Underworld set bonus which works on Sorc but refuses to proc on a Sage... Not biased totally
