Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Suggestion for inflation
UPDATE: i do not recomend adding a new currency. that will have to be always watched. i recomend add items that lets players unbind there gear to get more options for the outfitter.
the prices that players have ot pay as a fee, will drain there accounts. everyone role plays and loves the outfitter. there is a market to use old armor thats bound and doesnt cost anything to make because the meshes already exist in the game.

Hello developers, thank you for letting me post this suggestion.
First, I will cite the issue I have come across in my experience, then My history with suggestions, and finally the solution I propose and its merits, thank you developers, long live Swtor!.
Point 1. The problem: I just returned to the game after many years and I have come across this inflation issue where prices are really high.
Point 2: my history, There a suggestion box for fallout 76 years ago and I proposed they add a storage room to there town of foundation. In a later update, with there bos quest line, it was added, as was the name of a outfit I made a mod for fallout 4.
Point 3 Idea behind the proposal: When Inflation occurs in a country, introducing a new type of currency will lower inflation. This was seen in gemany afterworld war 1, when Germany lost the war and value of there money went down, causing inflation to go up. The created a new currency and inflation went down.
But implementing a new currency will take lots of resources planning and will always have to be worked on, developers shouldn’t be forced to work.
Your time is precious and if inflation is cured once, then new content can be worked on. People complain about not enough new content, But they fail to realize that, The developers are always working on new content and working on fixing the game. In order to fix the game, devs also have to look at the consequences of any changes they make, they have to test these changes and make it so they can flexibly altered if something goes wrong or reverse it entirely. This takes time, players just need to wait.
Point Proposal point 4: Now with the idea of using minimum and low resources, so it is easy to implement and making sure the developers do not have to give continued oversight. Here is my proposal.
I suggest that a new item be added to the game that makes use of existing content but also provides for both the community and contributes sales to swtor. This item that ill cite as “reformer”. I apologize, don’t even know what this item could be called. Reformers can be used on bound gear and it turns the gear into a “reformed armor” piece that is purely cosmetic. So for example, I would take my my Conqueror Enforcer's Jacket (a jacket I have been wearing for 10 years in swtor) and it would be bound to legacy or just bind it on equip. ---It is a smugglers jacket from when makeb expansion was released--. Then I could attach this item on my sith warrior in the outfitter, . I recommend doing this for all standard armor that people used to be able to buy in game but have been discontinued. Not cartel sets. Just discontinued in game armor sets and craft able armors, opration discontinued armor, pvp sets discontinued.
2 ways to implement:
Way 1: reformers are sold on the cartel market. swtor holds a event, A player can donate 5 million money or other amount co a existing or new faction to gain influence with them , after enough influence they are allowed to buy the reformers from the npc store. Devs decide price ot buy from store. They are bound to the character. This would instantly drain credits.
Way 2: The armors are not apart of the cartel but, unbound reformers could be sold on the market and gtn., a promotion is done to give one away freely per account to , they are bounded ones, players have to pay a very high bounding fee of 900,000 credits to bind a piece of armor to legacy reformer. High but affordable cost, free players and subs can use it. \
Way 3: make a tradable unbound one that only takes non cartel armor, players will bind it to there character again. You can use a cartel reformer on a reformed armor to make it unbound again. But this reformer doesn’t bind to legacy, it binds to the individual, and doesn’t count towards any cartel collections.
note: could have reformer chest, reformer leggings, etc, for each peice slot.
-Players should be made to spend high amounts of credits as a fee to drain it from the game/ increasing the value of the credit
-If its for normal armor, craftable armor, dis-continued pvp sets. the value of it is determined by the individual who keeps old armor in their boxes like I do. This will let players re use old armor sets for there alts and make them available again in small quantities for the community to enjoy, making people spend their credits even more. Using existing content that developers have dis-continued but, lets the community manage, Ensures the development of the economy because it could add a new form of trade and a reinvigorated interest in clothes.
. It also let players who have wanted dis-continued items to look for them from other players who don’t want them.
Idea on how to implement: I Think this could be done by creating a adaptive armor that takes accepts items with certain id codes. the id codes being the non- cartel, discontinued armor peices. The adpative armor just reassigns the id of the adaptive armor and image its using to the old mesh and textures Id's of the dis-continued armor
Thank you developers for letting me bring this constructive idea and letting me explain in detail what could probably be implemented, thank you
