  1. I play on the Harbinger, and have been frequently been plagued with the latency going up and down. I know for a fact it isn't my internet, as I checked that thoroughly (I suppose you don't have to take my word for it, but I'm quite confident). Surveying the general public has turned up many others with similar experiences. It is tough dodging certain mechanics of bosses in Flashpoints/Operations when you drop in the red, and the game has sent you spiraling down a time vortex to 5-10 seconds into the past. Aside from our usual complaints and self-entitlement complexes, we have been pretty patient with this expansion and the shortcomings that have decorated it. But this is serious enough to warrant a looking into. Please.
  2. You make a fair point, and well put. All things considered, there should be some communication and input towards the community on what steps they are, or will be taking to find a permanent solution. I suppose my comment was aimed more towards our present situation (as connected as it is to the big picture). I work in the customer service industry, and I know what it's like to have demands barked at you, when you have already been clear about the present state of things. And when such a problem may potentially be out of your hands to provide a direct answer on at that very moment.
  3. Sure, it's quite frustrating that you can't play the game at the moment. However, I find your sense of entitlement nothing short of astounding, when an obviously unexpected problem occurs and you have not been given an immediate, precise answer. The community manager himself just made a post, saying that they are looking into the problem. But you would rather have someone on their hands and knees, throwing rose petals at your feet, than accepting that they don't yet have a direct answer to give you. Yet, the implication is clear that when they do, they'll let you know.
  4. I will start off by saying that I don't post too often on the forums, as I consider myself more of a lurker. I enjoy browsing through the different topics, indulging in the observation of people's discussions about the game. Many a time I have felt that this forum is flooded with people's general complaints of a self-entitled nature. Perhaps Bioware/EA has neglected to provide a sufficient experience for you. Yes, you pay a subscription or purchase their cartel coins. However, you are not a stock-holder in their corporation. Yes it is quite important in order for their business to prosper, for them to ensure the regularity of their customer base. I get that. But do you not find it quite repetitive that every other topic is full of comparisons of the cartel market and how rose petals should be thrown at their feet because they went the extra mile and subscribed to the game. Maybe they make a fair point about many things. Maybe there is a sense of injustice in the current business model being practiced. Maybe, on the other end of the spectrum, it is a necessary business model to ensure the game's success on a financial level. I'm certainly not saying that people's opinions need to be censored. I'm not saying their complaints aren't justified. But for the love of all things holy, I am depressed that it is the only thing I can hope to read about in this forum. Many will argue I am doing that which I despise about complaining about the complaints. Sure that is a very clever observation, the awards ceremony will be held later for their achievements. But please, if there is any way to enforce consolidation of these topics/posts into one sub section of the forums, that would be fantastic.
  5. It seems important to note that opening up with two Clairvoyant strikes is going to increase your passive damage from your shadow technique, which is now an important thing to take into consideration. Project still does a fair amount of damage in conjunction with the bonus damage from the shadow technique as its put on a separate timer. It seems the rotation is similar to the pre-2.0, however you know have two abilities that will proc shadow-strike on a separate timer. You are relying less on the damage from project, so utilizing low-strike to get behind the mob is important if you have the aggro (won't happen on a boss fight, but you get the idea). CS x 2 > Project > (Force breach if x3, shadow strike if proc) > (The opposite of what you just used) > Low-slash > shadow strike > project ((Note: I still have extra 50 force from the force-mystic set, so hopefully 110 is enough to pull this off)) Using your buffs tactically is now required to do decent DPS. So if you don't have them on cooldown, you can pop potency and readiness after your first 2 CS's, and use Force breach, then project, then continue with your basic rotation. Alacrity will now be a stat that will be worth investing in, I have yet to have an opportunity to see how big of an impact it will make on the speed of the rotation. More than likely this will be a stat priority after Critical and Surge.
