Free codes is a singular dev's way of trying to toss a few bones to an angry virtual mob. Global reimbursement and system architecture are owned by the powers that be in EA/Bioware. Don't crucify a single dev because he was trying to sprinkle sugar on a trash fire, everything's better with SPRINKLES.

If we've learned anything from the Hunger Games the forum is more interesting when the initial code to player ratio is off. May the odds be forever in your favor young tribute!

I think that throwing some objects to those of us waiting is appreciated. I've not experienced a lot of these outages cramping my game time and although it's frustrating not to be able to play this afternoon where I have a day really conducive to some adventuring in a galaxy far far away knowing the dev staff is giving away some codes to those following the forumn with baited breathe is cool. Also the codes I saw were for some coins and pets, nothing game changing to anyone lucky enough to land a code (I wasn't one of the chosen few this time). As an IT guy I can appreciate the difficulties of unplanned outages I think anyone on the warpath needs to simmer down a bit.
