  1. As the title says I've been slowly downloading today's patch since 1 pm local time (it's now 7:33 pm) like all tuesdays I woke up early and set it so that it would download todays patch and after it was done I went in to play like normal, I suffered a disconnect and since then I've been in this slow grind of the launcher saying Installing at 512 kb/s, I've tried a few things to try and get it to work fast but nothing works, the game was fine before I suffered a disconnect. As of right now I'm staring it slowly creep to 40%...... this is annoying.
  2. So.... is anybody else getting "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again."? Keep in mind that I closed the launcher after I lost my internet connection, loaded up again and that's what I get when trying to patch.
  3. It's making it worse... I think that can be seen quite easily by just browsing the thread after the first codes went up.
  4. That's because they are all redeemed, it's a who is fasted to copy paste this gets it. If I where to be overly dramatic I would say this is like dangling meat above a pack of dogs and see which one can jump the highest to get it.
  5. Be careful when doing this quest as it is somewhat buggy, let me start from where I got stuck in here. SPOILERS, JUST IN CASE SOMEONE FEELS IT WILL SPOIL THEIR QUEST. I was on tatooine probably the last part of the quest, I deployed the prove on the sarlaac and got nothing in return, Oh well I might as well reset it right? NOPE, DON'T, NOPE NOPE NOPE! The moment I pressed reset the whole quest line reseted all the way back to 0, lost all the levels of affection that I got, by consequence I lost credits, materials and TIME that I spent farming and handling in the materials plus the whole thing in the rak tunnels, I've talked to friends and others and this is a bug that has been reported but has receive NO answers so far, In my opinion this is the worst thing that could ever happen in a quest, being returned to zero even though you completed the first part. So be careful do not reset, try to look for a workaround the big that happens on tatooine without having to press reset or else do it all over again.
  6. Al right, thanks for all the replies, I'll try giving them a holo call tomorrow and if not I'll just live with my Yavin 4 temple, maybe I'll turn it into a cantina or something.... maybe into a taun taun marketplace, who knows!
  7. Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow and see if I have any results if not, oh well, I guess I'll play with it and see if I start loving it.
  8. I am not feeling frivolous and I don't want my money back, I am okay with the fact that I bought cartel coins, I'm okay with the money I spent on them, however I am not okay with the fact that I bought something but now I am not liking it, two different things, but hey, it's nice to see people like you live on all game forums.
  9. Exactly what the title says! the costumer service forum was not useful at all in providing me with an answer, therefore I come here to ask, all I want is to get my cartel coins refunded, I bought the Yavin 4 Strong Hold and unlocked some of the rooms but now I'm not liking it that much, I would like if it's possible to get what I invested in the Strong Hold refunded so I could buy something else, is that possible? or do I have to sacrifice a jawa or something?
  10. I still don't know why people think the only colors lightsaber's should be are red, green, blue and purple, just because those are the colors used in the movies doesn't mean that those are the only color crystals, I mean you have a huge galaxy which probably has billions of different crystals, minerals and gems and people only want those, it just boggles my mind. The color crystals in the movies are like the hats on the old cowboy movies, white for the good guys, black for the bad guys, in Star Wars it's blue or green for the good guys and red for the bad guys.
  11. So are the people that think cause they are healers or tanks are somehow awesome, I've seen more tanks and healers fail with their hybrid trees than dps, matter of fact, I've had more fail tanks and healers than dps in the wrong stance/cell. To conclude being stupid, self entitled and believing you are special are not only seen in the dps but also in tanks (like you) and healers.
  12. One of the reasons I don't help anyone that is not on friends list or in my guild in mmo's. Sometimes you see someone needing stuff in fp's and I ask them why are they needing, or if they need something that does not work with their class I will tell them about their stats and no, it's not calling them out telling them they are a noob or whatever (well they are a noob but I guess you can't call them that anymore, to many people with winner attitude and special boy/girl syndrome) is actually trying to stop something before this person even starts the game, because if they stay this way till level 55 and nobody has taught what the need and greed are then you have one big problem ahead. To the OP you did nothing wrong, pointing out something like that is not mean or being a DB in anyway, if the guy thought he was some sort of awesome sauce and thought he was right and didn't wan't to learn then that's his problem.
  13. In my opinion f2p just means more money for the company, way way more money, while a sub is just $15 a month, and you don't have to spend a single dime on the cartel market if you don't want, and yes I was f2p, but I got tired of having to waste money on unlocks while I got no benefit, sub is the way to go, if you want to be f2p go ahead. As for me I'll keep my sub and buying cc's every 3 to 4 months for the cool items that I later sell to the f2p crowd .
  14. Let's see, I'll use an example to try and illustrate what you get for $15 a month here World of Warcrat: 1) access to lvl up from 1 to 90 2) dailies at lvl cap so that you can progress 3) Acces to dungeons past lvl 20 4) Acces to raids (Depending if someone wants to take you to their pug raid) 5) Acces to 9 different classes that have no story, only spells to differience them now Star Wars: The Old Republic 1) 500cc a month + 100 if you have a security Key (both fisical or digital version) 2) Access to fp, ops and warzones 3) Increased xp gain and rested exp 4) Increased credit cap 5) Ability to wear different types of gear 6) Trade without restrictions and the ability to send and receive in game mail 7) You can send credits to your alts 8) Access to 8 different classes with their own story I think that's all:rak_03:, In my opinion the $15 I'm paying for Swtor are well worth it.
  15. Some times I wonder if someone in the cartel market creative team has a fetish with jawas.......
