  1. They should add a toothbrush in the mouth item next time. I want that Jedi running late for work look.
  2. Same thing happens to me on a daily basis, multiple times a day. Seems to happen a lot when I jump into battle with my JK. After the leap I just keep going. It's pretty annoying. To correct, I always have to tap the button assigned to the direction that my character is running a few times to make him stop. First time it happened I had logged in in a cave on Taris to try out my new MMO mouse with fresh keybinds. A random group walked up and asked if I would like to join them so I accepted. In the first battle, I ended up running backwards and couldn't stop (I was jumping and pushing forward furiously but to no avail), and ended up backing myself into a pit of green toxic sludge and dying. I was really embarrassed. I remember the people in the group finished off the mob, then all turned their avatars and walked toward the pit as if they were trying to understand why I decided mid battle to backward suicide into the sludge. I sheepishly explained that my new mouse keybinds went nuts and told them to move on without me. Since then, I've been able to correct the issue faster, but its still something I would like to see fixed.
  3. What I shame. I wish I would not have spent credits training some of those.
  4. I play a Jedi Knight, but I think "Search and Destroy" by Red Hot Chili Peppers is perfect for the bounty hunter: I'm a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm I'm a runaway son of the nuclear A-bomb I am a world's forgotten boy The one who searches and destroys Honey gotta help me please Somebody gotta save my soul Baby detonate for me Look out honey, 'cause I'm using technology Ain't got time to make no apology Soul radiation in the dead of night Love in the middle of a fire fight Honey gotta strike me blind Somebody gotta save my soul Baby penetrate my mind And I'm the world's forgotten boy The one who's searchin', searchin' to destroy And honey I'm the world's forgotten boy The one who's searchin', searchin' to destroy Forgotten boy, forgotten boy Forgotten boy said hey forgotten boy
  5. Great stuff. Thanks for putting this together. Looking forward to seeing your combat spec video, as that is how I am set up right now.
  6. Another great post on what I view as a very important issue, particularly for people who have spent Cartel Coins on purple gear. Thank you very much.
  7. Thank you very much for posting this. If true, this explains why the repair costs for my new Pathfinder Armor (Purple) started to seem exorbitantly expensive after the patch. Until they fix it, I guess I will be switching back to my Valiant Jedi (Orange) set. Kind of a shame b/c I prefer the looks of the Pathfinder Armor and paid real money for it when I hit level 30, but better than being totally broke and unable to run crew skill missions to start my crafting business. I also appreciate that your response consisted of more than "Get Better!" or "Join a Hardcore Guild!". I've noticed some folks on these boards have trouble with the idea of diverse play styles and perspectives on what a game should be.
  8. Hi all! First post! I'm a pretty new player, a subscriber for about a month, and am level 33. I have really been enjoying the game a lot. I would like to chime in to say that I am also dissatisfied with the increase in my repair costs. As I'm still fairly new, and this is my first MMO, I fairly regularly end up getting killed by a group that has an elite in it. I probably die once an hour of play (though that is an improvement from when I first started). I can tell you that I have felt pretty credit poor throughout most of the game so far and am actually wearing armor that I purchased with cartel coins and using crystals from the cartel packs (so I have pretty good gear). I'm also making a serious effort at crafting so the credits go pretty quick running missions and reverse engineering for new schematics. When I was playing after the patch, I noticed that I was spending almost all of my mission earned credits on repairs and I had a lot less to plow back into crafting and buying new skills. To the extent that we could find a more reasonable level of repair costs that everyone is more happy with, I would greatly appreciate it. One of the things I have liked about this game is that it hasn't felt super "grindy" like some RPGs I have played in the past, and I hope that we can get back to that. Thanks and looking forward to many years of fun with this game!
