    I got the same issue. It seems to happen if the Brakan Mesa is the last area you explore.

    I am having this problem too. I run Windows 8 and when I quit game, it just hangs there. The only way for me to make it actually die is to log off (in Windows) and log back in. Anyone know of a solution?
