I would pay $100 worth of Cartel Coins to be able to play as a Gamorrean. The Gamorrean Guard was my first toy I ever bought with my own money and my favorite thing to play with for years as a child. He always killed all my other Star Wars/GIJoe/Transformers.

[Why doesn't gear set bonus transfer to orange(custom) armor?]

The only set bonuses applied to the armoring slot are War Hero and better, and Campaign and better items.

 

They stated the Tionese/Columi/Rakata would not have a transferable set bonus.

 

Same with Battlemaster.

 

Oh good. I had stopped playing before these sets were added. Just came back this month and got my brand new Trooper to 44 in the last week, saw the Clandestine Officer set advertised for the Cartel Market and was stoked at the idea of dressing Dorne up like an Imperial. ... Then I was told not to waste my money because customs and adaptives without the set bonus will be flatly inferior to what I'll be earning in a bit.

 

Nice to see it's still an option.

Frankly the more willing people are to 'wait for quality" (whatever that means) the less likely you are to ever get anything.

 

I'm a 'wait for quality' person. Played Smuggler 1-50 when the game launched, was generally disappointed about the lack of SGRA, so I canceled for the better part of a year. I only recently subbed up again with the new NPC flirts. Wait for Quality to me means that they can wait to get my money until they are providing a quality product.
